Update: my eyes healed perfectly and you can't even tell I've gotten them done. Everyone compliments me on how natural they look! My eyes before were not symmetrical and I can't believe how beautiful my eyes are now!

I had upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer to my temples and lower cheeks. I highly recommend Dr. Samimi and his staff. They were very professional and supportive from the first appointment to the last. Dr. Samimi is a great surgeon and has vast knowledge of the face and eyes. He was very realistic with my results and answered all my questions every time I visited him. I believe my first appointment lasted over 30 minutes. The staff was also amazing and answered all my questions when I called them for support after the surgery. I was quite nervous to do this surgery but Dr. Samimi made me feel very comfortable and showed me, through previous photographs, what the results would look like. I was very excited am very pleased with my results at 9 months in. He indicated that the full results of the surgery won't show for over a year. I highly recommend Dr. Samimi - you will not be disappointed. I look forward to seeing him in a few years when I am ready for my face lift!

This is my before and after 3 months post-op.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Samimi. He's personal and takes his time with you. He listens to your concerns & addresses any worries you may have. I had quite extensive upper & lower lid surgery with fat repositioning. The recovery time is a bit longer but it's worth it! I never had a day of pain. Dr. Samimi was always available post surgery addressing any questions or concerns I had too. I only wish I did this sooner! I would definitely send my friends to him.

When I made an appointment with Dr. Christian for simple cataract surgery I was very clear and told…read morethem I had Medicare and did they take that as full payment. I was told yes and it also says they take it on their website. This is not true, Sure they will take your Medicare and also make you pay 5 thousand dollars for the privilege. I never would have known this if not for YELP. I read reviews. After I made the appointment, I thought I better give Yelp a read. I was shocked to find out about this undisclosed charge. I would have wasted my time and God only knows when they would have told me to hand over 5K. I have cataracts so hard to read, close to impossible and I was very clear asking Medicare all in right--of course was the response. So, I called back and asked for billing. I told them I read they charge an additional 5 K on top of Medicare and your supplement. I was told they did. I told her I was not told that and it is no where on your website. Pregnant pause--sort of like what should I tell this woman. She then said that they use the best and latest equipment. I asked is that compared to old and outdated equipment. Another long pause. She said we have that charge. She never said she was sorry I was not told this. Now, I would have wasted a day and I am confident they would have made money off what I consider false advertising by billing Medicare to see me and may then tell me to hand over 5K. There is always a reason when you can get an appointment right away. Run from these people.

The receptionist, Veronica Chavez, was unnecessarily rude and antagonizing during check-in. I was asked for my insurance card, and I explained that it is the same insurance already on file since last year and that I have not yet received a new card. This is common in early January. Despite clearly stating that I did not have the card, the same question was repeated. At that point, the receptionist raised her voice and said, "I'm not questioning your insurance. I'm just asking if you have your insurance card," even though I had already answered that I did not. I again explained that it is early January and that many insurance companies have not yet issued new cards. Instead of clarifying what was needed, the receptionist continued to antagonize the situation and then told me that I "needed to be respectful," even though her own tone and behavior were rude and dismissive. The exchange became uncomfortable and occurred in front of other patients in the waiting area. This is not the first time I have had a negative experience at the front desk. It is disappointing because the quality of care from the physician is excellent, but repeated unprofessional interactions at check-in detract significantly from the overall experience. I hope this feedback is addressed so patients are treated with basic patience and courtesy.

Treated poorly, multiple complications, awful result, arrogant, dismissive of my concerns, waisted $30k. Had to go to another surgeon to completely redo. Dr. Teitelbaum was so nice during the consultation. Acted like he knew what I wanted and did not raise any concerns about achieving them. I booked my procedure. He had me come in a week prior to deflate previous implants (to see how my skin would bounce back). He was not very nice during this appointment. Treated me Like an object, not a person with feelings. He was very rough and didn't speak to me until afterwards. I had a few questions at that point and he was quite arrogant & rude with his responses. I left there and cried in my car and prayed that he was just having a bad day, because i already paid a Large deposit and he already deflated my existing implants. So I felt as if I had to continue moving forward. A week later it was the day of my procedure and he seemed to be in a better mood, so I was optimistic about the surgery. The minute my surgery was done I was walked back to my room (pretty out of it) and then discharged. A day later I went in for my follow up. He walked in from across the room and said how is everything and I said it was fine. They were so Swollen, it was too early to tell anything. I had drains also. I was sent home with a follow up in 6 days to get the drains out. I did not see the Dr. when I got the drains out. Only his nurse Chrissley. I was sent home with a follow up in a month. 6 days later my stitches in my back (from lipo) were itching so bad and my skin was starting to heal over the stitches. So I called and asked when I was supposed to have them removed and apparently they were supposed to take them Out when they took the drains out, but had forgotten. So I had to drop everything and go get them removed. Needless to say, I have 3 scars from those stitches now, that I would t have had if they were removed on time. At my one month follow up, I brought up my concerns about my result. I was super nice and sweet (because I don't have a mean bone in my body). Dr. Teitelbaum was extremely rude and mean. He told me I had no idea what I was talking about and that no Dr. in their right mind would ever do what I was asking for. He completely dismissed me bringing up that they were saggier than when I came to see him to begin with. He said "that's what bras are for". He said I don't know what you want from me. I said, "I just want you to take pride in your work and say you will fix them". I left after that. I received an apology email from the doctor the next day. His staff also called me and said he would fix them And make it right. Weeks after that, I had an infection in one of the breasts along with multiple stitches that were sticking out of my breast and needed to be removed. They took a Culture of the infection and sent it off to the lab so they could figure out which antibiotic to give me. I waited a week, but apparently the tube they used was expired so the lab wouldn't process it and I had to go back in again and take another culture. At this point my body was trying to get rid of the infection, so it had opened up in several Spots under that breast (holes in my skin). So when I went back in that time (for the second culture). The dr. Dug around in the holes (very painful) and pulled out tissue and more stitches and sent me on my way again. At that point, I was worried about getting sepsis from having the infection for 4 months. I went to my primary care physician, who then put me on a way stronger antibiotic. This finally got rid of the infection. Needless to say, I did not trust Dr. Teitelbaum with my care and definitely did not trust him to perform any kind of surgery on me to rectify his botch job. I ended up with saggier boobs than when I originally went to him. They were not symmetrical, one nipple was way higher than the other, one breast was veering off to the right, while the other was straight forward. I was depressed for a year and half from what this doctor did to me. I recently went to a different surgeon (highly recommended by my Oncologist) who achieved everything we discussed (no complications, no drains, no swelling, no infection, caring and gentle doctor) and I am very happy now. I have never written a bad review in my life, but too many professionals have encouraged me to write this to hopefully spare someone from experiencing the trauma I did with this man.
