Small but very cute coffee shop! Decided to try one of their September specials and I'm so glad I did. I got the beach ball cold brew and the flavor initially threw me off a bit but I ended up really liking it. Wish I lived closer so I can try some of their other options.

New favorite coffee shop in the Tinley/Frankfort area! I've loved to see the growth in small business coffee shops in the area after growing up here. Finally got around to trying Grounded Coffee Bar after hearing family members rave about it. Located in Downtown Frankfort, their shop has tons of street parking adjacent and seating inside to work, meet up with friends, or play a causal board game they have. They offer a large variety of coffee, tea, and food options. I decided to go with a 12oz hot honey lavender latte and my fiancé a 12oz hot chai latte. The chai was more sweet than spiced hut had good flavor. I loved my lavender honey latte! The staff had no problem blending the two flavor types and flavors came through perfectly. Both drinks had a good froth top to them. I also found out they opened a second location in New Lenox this summer! The hype from family was spot on and I cannot wait to come back to try another flavor coffee!

I found a hidden gym in downtown Frankfort. The coffee offerings are amazing and you have so much cozy space for you to relax or accomplish work. There is lots of lighting and you have some sweet treat options to pair with your coffee. The barista at this coffee shop answered all my questions was able to make great recommendations, and was extremely inviting and welcoming. I opted for the hazelnut cold brew. It was the Perfect pick me up. This is my new getaway spot!

so beautifully decorated and very clean

This coffee shop is cute, quaint, and a bit pricey. For two iced coffees (grande size as per StarBucks) it cost $14 and change. Although it's cheaper to make the coffee yourself, it's the ambiance that you're paying for. It is relaxing and inviting here. You can chill out and listen to music or walk around. Will I come Again? Absolutely!

One of my favorite suburban coffee shops!! Delicious cold brew and a good cappuccino!

Pumpkin loaf & candy apple cold brew

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Frankfort! They have seasonal drinks & treats that are fun. For the fall, I tried the pumpkin loaf & candy apple cold brew. The pumpkin loaf was delicious warmed up. The cold brew was very flavorful. I personally did not like it, but definitely lived up to its name. The staff were very quick and friendly as well.

I am very disappointed in my experience here. Last time i went i ordered it with light ice and there was a $1 up charge. And the most recent time i went i didn't want to pay extra so i ordered it normally, but when I did the whole cup was just ice!! I also ordered a 16 oz but they gave me a 12oz so i had to go back and wait in a long line just to get it fixed Don't recommend coming to this overpriced place ever!!

Coffee was just okay compared to their competitors. The flavor profile on the black coffee was off and didn't taste right.

Cute decor, friendly staff, & great coffee. Try the oat milk lavender latte! Bonus: they have do-rite donuts for my little ones.

Service was great but the coffee was kind of cold, tasted burnt and terrible and the donuts were bad. Wish it was better

In light of Rosh Hashanah, we were looking for Jewish places to eat and came across Schmaltz Deli…read more We never knew there was a Jewish deli in the area and boy were we missing out. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great experience. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor tables available as well as a traditional deli counter. They also have a drive thru! You can choose to order at the counter or be seated with a more traditional restaurant-like service. Our waiter was young but very professional and provided great recommendations. To start, they bring a complimentary bowl of bagel chips (a unique twist and a great way to repurpose old bagels). For my meal, I had a half American sandwich with a bowl of matzo ball soup. It was simple but delicious. On our way out, we stopped at the deli and ordered a few rugelach. They tasted so fresh! My favorite was the apricot flavor. Definitely hope to be back real soon to support such a great spot! Shana Tova!

3.5 stars, but rounded up because I didn't feel they deserved any deduction…read more I was REALLY looking forward to their #20 Old New Yorker, which I got in their Navel Cut pastrami. It was a solid 7, which is why I place it at 3.5 stars. I may be being picky here but it just wasn't to the level of "melt-in-your-mouth" pastrami standards for me. Not to say it wasn't good, because it was perfectly fine. In fact, it's better than most of the pastrami sandwiches I tried in Chicagoland. Maybe it's the fact that I had to bring it back to the office to eat it, and half hour had gone by and pastrami weren't as warm and the Jewish rye had become soggy by the time I took the first bite. I mean, it goes without saying that the sandwich would have been 3 times better had I sat down immediately and had it. Again, all things considered, it was a perfectly good sandwich. One interesting thing was that I had never been to an establishment that included a half sour pickle instead of a normal one and gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Pickles can be a hit or a miss for me. I like my pickles to be crunch, but some places offer overripened ones that become borderline mushy. Schmaltz's half sour pickle was not overly salty or sour, making it very attractive for me. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm convinced that I'll have to go back and try their #14 Sloppy Paul, which is the corned beef with sauerkraut, which is another favorite of mine. And this time, I'll be sure to dine in and give another review of it to see how much I like them better.

I was happy to learn that neither have garlic or onion! So, I ordered a cheddar herb bagel, toasted, with cucumber shmear, and avocado. It was delicious! The bagel was crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside. My partner got a sausage, egg, cheese on an everything bagel. He loved it, as usual. I also ordered a spiced chai. It came out pipping hot but once it cooled enough that I could drink it, it was delicious! Highly recommend! They have a shared parking lot with a few other places, but it was easy to find a parking spot. You order at the counter, and they prepare your bagels, so that when you get to the cash register, they are ready for you to take. If your drinks aren't ready yet, you can take a seat at one of the tables and they will bring them to you. The people working here seemed like a family. They were kind and answered all of my questions. I will definitely be back.
