I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by your company…read moreDetroit Concrete Leveling and the lack of resolution regarding my project. I hired your company on May 2nd for concrete leveling and caulking work. Since then, your crews have been to my home twice, and the work remains incomplete despite repeated assurances that these issues would be addressed. My project manager, Lawrence, has failed to properly manage this project. Aside from coming to my home to sell the job, he has never returned to inspect the work, review the damages, or ensure the project was completed as promised. Despite being notified immediately of the issues, he has not provided a resolution. The issues include: * Damage to my egress window well caused by your mudjacking crew, resulting in approximately $3,000 in repair costs that I will have to pay out of pocket. * Damage to my garden hose caused by your crew. They threw it on the ground! * Failed holes on the leveling work that was completed. * Poor-quality caulking work that was left incomplete. * Debris, materials, and a mess left behind by your crew. * A second service visit that still failed to complete the work, with the crew leaving without resolving the outstanding issues or having anyone from the home review the project. What is most concerning is the complete lack of project oversight. Lawrence has never come to inspect the workmanship, review the damage caused to my property, or verify that the work was completed correctly. At this point, I have paid for services that were not delivered as promised and have been left to deal with property damage and additional expenses caused by your company. I have been more than patient throughout this process. I hired Detroit Concrete Leveling expecting professional workmanship, accountability, and communication. Instead, I have received incomplete work, property damage, and little effort toward resolution. EDIT to reply to owners comment: It's important to note that multiple attempts were not made to rectify this issue, and seemingly my issues have and continue to be ignored. If this was the case, on visit #2 (June 15 2026) my caulking would have been completed, my failed holes filled, and the MESS left by your crew would have been cleaned. But no, after a 2nd visit i was left with all of the above not being completed. I now am expected to schedule a THIRD visit to my home, to complete a job that should've been done 7 weeks ago. The repair ended up costing about 2x what they originally said which ... hey that happens. The quoted it sight unseen, then looked at it and decided it was bigger than they expected. They put this junk in, plug it and then you cut the plugs flat after a few days. Repair at 6 months is holding. The other people that looked at it were thousands if dollars so I thought I'd try this...glad I did. I only have before pics Prompt and repair that worked.

Dave from the Crack Team, he was my 4th, and final estimate I got. #1 said they'd fill the crack and put a vapor barrier over it for $975 #2 said that although my walls were plumb, and showed no sign of other distress, I would need 5 carbon wall ties, @ $500/each, and fill the crack, with a 10% cash discount for $3868 #3 said they would fill the crack & rod holes w/ epoxy for $500 #4 gave me an estimate of $1050 to fill the crack and rod holes with urethane and then reinforce the job with carbon concrete staples - with a lifetime transferable warranty! After doing my research online, I came to the decision that urethane is better than epoxy, for my purposes, and that I don't need 5 carbon wall ties. Dave with the Crack Team won my bid because of the reinforcement, use of urethane, and the warranty. His work was fine, as was he. The only negatives I can give is that he didn't prep me on how messy of a job this was going to be. At one point I went down in the basement to check and see if he would like something to drink, and my whole basement was filled with concrete dust. If I had been prepped on the mess, I would've shut off the furnace, shut the door to the room he was working in, and cover a bunch of things in the room he was working in, to make clean up way easier on me. He wrote me up for a bill of $1070, because he filled 1 more rod hole than quoted ($20/rod hole). All in all, I recommend the Crack Team.

We let them know that we needed the driveway done and cured before that date so we could use a wheelchair on it . They were here the next day to take out the old concrete and prepare it for the new. These guys really knew their stuff and they worked long and hard and did an absolutely stellar job. Communication with Michigan Rose Construction was great. They were always available to answer questions and we enjoyed interacting with the men who were doing the work. We would hire them again for any construction project without hesitation.

We had several trees trimmed, one tree removed and trimmed some large branches that were very…read moredifficult to access but they had no problem with that task. One tree (an Apple tree) dumped Apples all over the yard from cut down branches. The guys cleaned up all loose branches and left the yard as good as when they arrived. Reasonable pricing and very helpful to remove a few extra branches that weren't in the quote. I highly recommend them for doing this type of work - you will be pleased.
