My husband was trading his car for a truck but didn't take it the first day, but still talked numbers with Marjorie. She told us the trade in price and told us to bring it the next day to get everything finalized. **SERVICE DEPARMENT** I went in for a oil change and headlight bulb change. I was charged $185.00! I've never paid that much for an oil change, about $65.00. They charged an additional $16.00 fee (customer go green???) and when I asked what that was for, she said to dispose of the oil. The most I've ever paid for an oil change at the other Chevy dealers was $43 or less. When i complained of the outrageous prices, she simply said they were under new management. And I waited over 3 hours...I will never get service here again! PS.. your paying for that nice upgrade in the waiting lounge! read more

False advertising. I never received a remote start key or all weather floor mats. Needed repairs to the vehicle right after purchased. Wouldn't recommend at all. Will be going to other Chevy dealers from now on. Valet did not put my parking breaks on I got in and out because the car world not start. Car rolled down the ramp and hit another Vehicle. Bought a used car here a few weeks ago, and my experience overall was ok, but not great. One complaint is thy include this ridiculous charge when you are negotiating the price of your vehicle for some package where they put nitrogen in your tires etc that cost $3K! They make it sound like its something vital when its not, and you have to ask them to take it off. Who would pay $3K for that??? Also, when I purchased my vehicle they said they could ship my license plates to me so I wouldn't have to come pick them up.. Well I finally got the call that the plates were ready from some super rude lady, (and right now I'm about to move but don't have my new house yet) and I requested them to be shipped to my moms house. After arguing with this woman for 6 minutes about how this isn't their policy and how if my moms house is in Spring, that's close enough to come pick up my plates, I guess they will be shipping them. It doesn't seem like this should be a huge deal.... Don't know why she had to argue about it. Also, the sales part of the dealership is pretty run down and dirty.. not to mention small.. Just an overall gross feeling. However, the financing building you go into after you have worked out your "deal" is super nice. Whoever Plesant Abraham is isn't answering his phone. I have even asked to speak with others regarding to my gap claim and they continue sending me to this person who doesn't answer. Even in other reviews his name pops up as not answering calls for gap claims... who do I speak with or I will just come down there and talk to y'all until I get my gap claim paperwork amounts. Avoid at all costs! Came into dealership on a Thursday night looking for a Tahoe. When I inquired about price, the guy literally told me "look online." I asked him to give me 4 quotes with differing options (rims and such) the next day. The next day, he shows up an hour late to work, then refuses to quote me a price because "you're just going to shop the price." Being in sales myself, I cannot fathom how you make a living NOT actually trying to sell. Needless to say, I had to contact the dealer as a walk-in customer to get a wheel/tire quote. The parts guys said they had them in stock. We go back to dealer, and request a new salesman. We go back and forth on price and settle well above "internet price." Thats apparently just a "baut & switch" price. You'll never ever get that price. Be aware of this. He then says they dont have the wheels in stock so ill have to come back after they're ordered. I walk over to parts, and they DO have them....I literally was looking right at them. I arrange to have installed following day. I set a 9:30am appt, show up at 9:15, and here it is noon and they haven't even put the car in shop!! This place is the worst. $65k mistake. Worst service ever - brought my 2019 pickup in for warranty work on a check engine light and leak around the seal on the back window - ended up with scratches on the passenger bed side - someone used my running board to work on the window and must have had a zippered jacket on or something - these were NOT there when I brought it in - in fact the service guy that originally checked my pickup in took pics of a couple door dings - so when I noticed these scratches after I got home I brought it back and the guy NEVER apologized - in fact he insinuated that they would not use the running boards to work on the window - then he called the service manager over and again not one apology - he said he would send it over the his body shop to see what could be done - I couldn't stay so i said I would be back - however Im going to hire an independent body shop - they feel most of it can be buffed out Im pretty sure these words are a waste of my time because I doubt anyone cares at this dealership - but I received this review link. Poor svc by the Service Dept. Dropped my car off on Tuesday of Tnksgivin wk with Joyce . I Was told vehicle wuld be ready by fri. I received No call or msg from Svc dept on fri 10 minutes b4 closing. So I took it upon myself to contact b4 they closed. Svc manager Alvin called back and said car wuld be ready saturday afternoon. Till this day I have not heard from Joyce. 2p saturday I picked up my car only to realize it had been misdiagnosed n incorrectly repaired. I immediately called Alvin to inform him issue was not corrected. I was told to bring back monday for ride along. Monday I took vehicle back to do ride along with Mike, a mechanic at Munday. Mike stated he knew what the problem was and part had to be ordered. Friday I called to see if part had arrived. Left msg with svc mgr Alvin with no reply. It's now monday and still no reply. I belive the issue is that vehicle is still under warranty, purchased from another dealership and Munday does not want to honor warranty. This dealership has horrible Yelp ratings and has poor leadership. STAY AWAY, SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION. read more

This is strictly about the SERVICE department. Starting off - Sergio lied to me and then tried covering up what he had told me. I asked him if they patch tires because I had a slow leak, he said yes for $20. So, I said well Discount tire can do it for free. He goes on to tell me "Don't worry about it, we will do it for free". When it was time for me to get my vehicle, I asked if everything had been done including the tire, his first response was "I'm sorry I forgot". Then I asked if he could have it done and he started fussing with me saying he told me it would be $20 and I responded with "You said it would be free why would I make this up?!" Then I asked for him to stop talking about it because by this time he had lied to me twice and tried to make me feel stupid. When I walked out to get my car whoever pulled it up had me directly in the rain. It was VERY upsetting because everyone else's cars were under the bay. The treatment I received was horrible to say I was a paying customer and this is where I bought two brand new vehicles from in September. You all need to do better!!! I have been dealing with this dealership since last year in October just trying to get the refund amounts for add ons for my totaled chevy impala. I have emailed and called the "manager" Pleasant Abraham i belive is his name and I am yet to hear from him. All i need is my refund amounts so that my gap insurance can close out my claim that ive had since last october!!! I havent been able to purchase another car until i completely finish this claim. This dealership has made it impossible for me to do that they never answer the phone you leave messages and no return of a call ever!!! I wanted to like this dealership so bad, for the most part I was treated respectfully but definitely unfair. The part that bothers me the most is that I had to deal with 2 people one who was cool and the other I feel was just trying to make a sale. I went in looking for a Cadillac and came out with a vehicle that wouldn't start less than 48 hours later. I missed a total of 3 days of work attempting to obtain a vehicle from this dealership and I ended up with something that I did not want. I should've walked away and ended the deal however I was also trying to be positive. Sterling McCall does NOT have a bad rep so I was confident that they would get me close to what I wanted. I was promised $7200 for a trade in on my truck which would have left me with a balance of $3000 or a little more. I have yet to see that in any paperwork. I was promised a price of $11,600 for the vehicle they offered me and was totally screwed over with a price closer to $15,000 for the vehicle I purchased. I even have the text messages to prove that and yes I spoke to the GM and he made an attempt to oblige but he changed the price by 5, maybe $600 bucks. Literally I was treated like I was dumb and an inconvenience, there were times where I had to get sideways to even get a response. For 7 days I was mishandled, there were times when I had to make initial contact because no one was contacting me. I have family in the auto dealer business, I know how it goes but this was too much. When I finally got another vehicle after the first one wouldn't start, dash lights started coming on the next day. Which tells me they simply reset these lights and sold the vehicle. There is no care, concern for a hardworking person that is trying to make it. I did the footwork, I searched for vehicles, I looked at their other dealerships and assisted them in finding me a vehicle. Sitting back and thinking over the experience I had, if I could just have my truck back... I would have went back to Mac Haik. What's even worse is that one of the vehicles I was looking at that was CHEAPER than the vehicle they sold me was still available. The sales person from the other Sterling McCall contacted me in an attempt to get me to test drive it. I was informed that it was no longer available which is why I settled for the vehicle I have now. Settled because it was 8pm on day 3 that I had taken off work for Sterling McCall and I either had to call in again for the 4th time and wait ALL DAY on the gradual movement or take what I could get. Honestly I don't feel like they were trying, I don't feel like much effort was put into making me happy. At the end of the day they will sell you a lemon, change the price, FORGET TO ADD YOUR TRADE IN VALUE and smile in your face like it's nothing. Surprised would be an understatement, again the GM made an attempt but I am not thrilled at all with this vehicle and I am going to post everywhere and tell everyone about this experience. What's even worse is that I said to the salesman that I thought about not coming here because of the Yelp reviews and he stated that I shouldn't pay attention to the reviews, yelp only post bad reviews but honestly that is what it seems Sterling McCall has earned. read more

One star was generous. The absolute WORST buying experience ever. I purchased a 2020 Volkswagen and decided to take it to VW for a full point inspection. VW discovered it had no oil in it, faulty tires (I had to stop every 2 days for air) and needed $4,000 worth of repairs from damages. Damages that Sterling McCall's CarFax did not reflect . I returned the vehicle and purchased a "brand new" vehicle at a different dealership with a 5.5% APR (Sterling McCall gave me a "deal" with 18% APR) and my monthly note is now 100.00 less per month than the used vehicle Sterling McCall Chevrolet tried to give me. Please don't purchase a pre-owned vehicle from this dealer. Run away fast. I would be distraught if this happened to anyone else in the Texas area. The funny thing about it was that I am a black man and two other black people had problems and were waiting for a long time so I saw with my own eyes how we were treated. So if you are a black turn around and look back because you will be the last that they wait on. I was driving to Houston to buy a truck and called Dora to see if the one online was still available. I live 99 miles outside of Houston. She called back an hour later and said it was in the shop and to come on down and take a look. When I got there I barely talked to her before she handed me off to someone else to drive me to the shop. The whole time we were driving around looking for the truck he kept saying if we can't find it we don't have it. He kept asking if we were interested in anything else. Finally he asked where we parked and dropped us by our car. I went inside to talk to Dora again and after a few minutes they both came out and said the car was sold several days ago. Answered Munday Chevrolet as for "new" 2017 Jaguar XJ. Person stated car was new. After credit union ran VIN, turns out it had been registered and therefore used. Credit Union asked if I was sure I wanted to deal with a dealership with such a terrible Yelp rating but I was hoping I'd get lucky. Asked for contract copy for review of fees, and they snuck a price thousands higher than the advertised price. When I called them on it, they refused to change it. Two days later Amanda took the offer to her Manager, who agreed to the deal. They were supposed to complete the paperwork and submit it to the credit union, but they claimed a transformer failed and they had to wait, only to sell to another customer. I traveled to the chevy lot and was brought to the vehicle which was in horrible shape. I sent my husband to service my 2012 Chevrolet Impala (oil change). They recommended a transmission flush (we ok'd it), and sent home two maintenance action plans, one based on mileage, and another after they had taken a "closer look" and found some front end issues (steering system leak and worn front wheel bearings/hub assemblies). My front end did feel shaky and loose, and my left front tire was wearing abnormally (tread on both sides of the tire was thinning). I have an extended warranty for my vehicle which paid for the the front end work, as well as for my loaner from Enterprise (they gave me a brand new Chevrolet Malibu to drive while my car was being worked on). A few days later, Tommy Ferfon called and recommended a wheel alignment. I refused it at first, because I planned on getting the damaged tire replaced, then getting a wheel alignment from another mechanic. Mr. Ferfon didn't push the issue. About a week passed, and Tommy called on a Friday to tell me that my car was ready for pickup. My husband told me to go ahead and let them do the wheel alignment, since getting a new tire wasn't going to affect it. Tommy told me that he would call me again, probably on Monday, when it was done. On Thursday, my Impala was finally ready. Tommy told me that he would have called earlier, but he noticed a pricing issue, and fixed it before having me come in to pick it up. My car is running better. All I had to pay for was the wheel alignment. When I dropped the rental off, the guy that had taken it returned the chargers that I left in the vehicle. Everyone seemed very professional. The blonde receptionist that handled the loaner had a very bubbly personality. The dealership/service area is very clean, and the waiting area is very modern and comfortable. I had no negative issues that I can think of. There's a dent on the top of my car above the driver side door that I hadn't seen before, but it's hardly noticeable and may have been there already (I bought my car used, with some superficial damages to it). Hi, I bought a car with them on July 19, 2022. I started having mechanical issues after I took it for a service appointment on October 18, 2022. After we left things where fine until a week later, that the car left us on the street on October 26, 2022. We had road side assistance and they came to get the car. Apparently the car had mechanical issues that they had to use the extender warranty and they didn't even offer a rental car for me because due to covid they don't rent their own cars so they go thru enterprise and I would need to pay the rest cause they only cover $40 a day. I got a hold of the manager at the time he didn't help with my concern only repeated what the service person had said. They fixed those issues after we paid our extended warranty other wise they would do nothing about it. We are now at November 9th the car is back at the dealer because more mechanical issues. It is at less than 90,000 miles on it. Yet we are continuing to have issues on this Semi used car. Also the people I have spoken to don't seem to want to help and I am extremely disappointed. . Bait and switch. Went in to buy a Tahoe based on the listing price (with no qualifications or * listed). Test drove the vehicle by requesting the Tahoe with the color and price (they clearly knew the price since that's the car they brought out), started the negotiation pricing and was told it was over $20k above the listing price. Responded to the internet manager email from the day before asking about the discrepancy and he would not respond to any emails. Don't waste your time here. Just picked up my 2010 Tahoe, technician Elwin called yesterday said there was a problem call him and found out it was his day off and no way to contact him, I basically boils down that they could replace my brake pads because of of leaky master brake cylinder (Un symptomatic) and 2000.00 dollars. I decided to pass told them to hold off and I called next morning to a less than cordial receptionist to get a shuttle at 7:30 am.& 7:30am passed call a yellow cab he beat the shuttle. Got to the dealership paid for my bill and went out and the tahoe wouldn't start. Had to jump it and noticed they didn't wash the Tahoe as promised. Drove it to work and both heat and cold come from the vents at the same time. Give me a break. read more

Chevrolet offered me the lowest of the 3. I was like wow. The pre-own department at this particular place is garbage. They all seem lazy and inexperienced.
