I bought a used car last month from them ...the front bumper had a minor damage. My sales men agreed to get it " taken care of" this was only the beginning of my nightmare. Soon after they "fixed" my bumper I notice two white streaks running down the panel of my car. Which someone spilled some kind of chemical liquid on it. It was eating on my paint. Then my back bumper had a scratch on it which was never there...after going back and forth they agreed to fix it well they only fixed the back bumper not the front panel. And all I get. Is unprofessional people telling me well you bought it used. I did not buy it with that damage . The damage was caused by the dealership and not by me and now they won't fix it. And everyte me I go I have to stand around to be helped these people are so unprofessional, rude, and quite frankly don't care about anything after you buy the car .....I will never go and get my car fixed there again and I recommend that no one buy your chevy car from there because they suck. Munday Cheverolet is the worst with when it comes to customer satisfaction, customer service and following up to finish the deal. My daughter and I were looking for her first car to take to college. She fell in love with a used Fiat needless to say, her falling in love with this car would become a nightmare for us. Our salesman was ok but when it came down to the finance department, they used unethical pressure to get her to sign for the car that very night. Well after a lot of haggling and numerous return trips to speak with finance because I wanted to see us they could get us a better deal, I finally got tired and told them I already had financing and then they really started talking the same numbers as I had already been offered from an outside institution. Why waste my time!?!?! Well, we went with them and service went downhill. They told us they would detail the car but did not. They did not have a spare key and would not pay to get one. They did not even vacuum the carpet after waiting 3 days after purchase to get the car. There was no spare tire available, but keep in mind, we asked for these prior to purchase but after purchase, they stated the car was used and they could not do anything about it. We purchased the car in July and we are still waiting on the plates and a refund of $250 for etching on the window that they did not do. Munday Cheverolet is horrible!! read more

So, I found a pre-owned truck at this dealership, it was what I wanted, in my price range. It took 3 calls to actually speak to someone to determine if the truck was still available. I was prepared to go to the store and buy this truck, if it was clean and didn't smell like an ashtray, for asking price. I got a hold of a young lady on the phone, and she did confirm the truck was on site and available for sale. Yay! So, I get in the car, and in 30 minutes, I'm at the dealership. We drive the lot and don't see it....hmmmm....so I go inside and ask. The salesman I spoke to now says the truck was not available and had been sold, presumably the day before, as the shop had only been open a whole hour. I asked why I would be told the truck was on site, when it wasn't? It was the only truck I was interested in, and now I've wasted time when I have other dealerships to visit. I was advised that the Internet people don't work on the weekends, and the website was not current, WHICH IS WHY I CALLED FIRST. He then told me the lady that answered the phone may have been from an answering service..in which case WHY WAS SHE ADVISING ON VEHICLE STATUS? Anyways, he tried to keep me in the building by showing info about other trucks that I had already decided I was not interested in, as I had seen them on the site already. He has visited a ford and a dodge dealership and he wanted to checkout a chevy dealership to possibly buy a chevy truck. He went in to Munday Chevy today (Jan. 20th), walked around for over 20 minutes and not ONE sales person approached him. NOT ONE. I got my license plates in today so I stopped by during lunch to pick them up. They told me I needed a service ticket from Nate to get the front one installed. I spoke to Nate and he gave me the form and I waited. When the car was ready they gave me a slip for payment. $15 to install the license plate? Seems like something the dealership should do automatically without charging. I paid since it took longer than excepted and I needed to get back to work. I was debating on getting a heavy duty magnet plate holder and would have used the money toward that if I would have known installing the plate wasn't included. read more

I went to Munday Chevrolet early in the morning ready to buy a new truck. However, when I walked in the dealership with my wife nobody greeted us, nobody asked if we needed help, all the employees just passed us up, ignoring us, not even acknowledging us. Some employees would look at us and when I made eye-contact with them they would quickly turn away as if I was a bother. This made me very angry and made me feel unwelcome. My wife and I walked out and went across the street to Planet Ford and I bought a brand new 2016 F150 an hour later. I have always shopped for parts at this Munday dealership for my Corvette Z06, employees were always dry and a bit rude, but I guess that's normal for selling a $200 part. But their behavior was unacceptable when I was about to drop $45,000 on a new truck. I am very happy with my new Ford truck, I have always been a Chevy guy but with this being the closest Chevy dealership around me I didn't want to drive too far, I went over to Planet Ford to check out their inventory and I was sold as soon as I test drove the new F150. read more

I have a Saturn that's on the ignition switch recall list. I called Munday and asked them about it, hoping I could find a closer location as they are a trek away. They told me that they are the only ones who I can go to. They also said that they had to see the car, to get the VIN number. I could not give it to them over the phone. Then they would order the parts a have me come back. I wasn't too fond of doing that, but they assured me that was the only way. I was told that on two separate occasions. Since then, I located a dealer 12 minutes from my home. With just a quick phone call, I was able to get the part ordered. My car is there right now, as the parts were there quicker than expected, and they gave me a rental while it is being repaired. It only took 4 days. I'm so glad that I didn't have to go to Munday. I saved myself of a couple of one or so hour trips during rush hour in a very busy location. I'm not happy with Munday. I feel that they were not honest with me, and that makes me distrust them. read more

And each was a horrible experience, tried slipping cost in on me here and there, but the service department is where the real disappointment is, I have spent thousands of dollars on extended warranties and not once have any of my cost been covered, which have all been problems out of my control. My name is Brian Valle I bought two cars from this dealer in the last two years. I was sold a extended warranty by Karl in Finance, telling me it would cover bumper to bumper and basically if a fuse went out that it would be covered and all I would have to do was cover the deductible. My A/C went out in my 2014 Silverado and the extended warranty only covered a bracket and a a hour a labor. My part was $540.00. Then I went to look at a new or used van and I brought to Miguel Garcia's attention (General Manager) and he said to bring the receipt and he would get me a check. Well I dropped off and a week later (today 6/13/16) to see if he received it. And the story all of a sudden changed, it was contingent on me buying a new vehicle. My long-term boyfriend (Alex) and I went to Munday Chevrolet on Memorial Day weekend where we were assisted by two sales representatives - Marcus and Carlos Diaz who both, might I add, seemed very unknowledgeable. After sitting at the dealership (who's A/C was out, btw) for FIVE hours, we decided to continue our search for a second vehicle elsewhere. Carlos was quick to let us know that if we purchased a vehicle at another dealership, we would not be allowed to return to Munday Chevrolet for future inquiries or purchases. However, I knew that was untrue but it didn't matter because after the poor experience that we had had, neither one of us had any intentions of returning ANYWAY. Are you ready for this next part? 1 week later, Alex and I both received a total of 11 denial letters from numerous different banks for a loan application that was ILLEGALLY submitted for an SUV that both of our sales representatives knew was out of our price range. Not only that but it was used and red, which they also knew was not in our preferences WHATSOEVER. 6 months later, I am STILL trying to get someone at Munday Chevrolet to return our phone calls, respond to e-mails, etc. SOMETHING. They need to do something, or at least damn well try. Both times, staff were very courteous and knowledgeable about the issues I was having. Repairs were done timely. Shuttle service was provided. On my second visit, I had a trip scheduled that ran into the repair schedule. Munday allowed me to keep the loaner during this period, and I was very grateful, as I would have missed it. On March 15, 2017 I traded in my 2011 Toyota Camry to purchase a 2016 Chevrolet Trax. Upon trading in this vehicle my husband and I completed the new finance documents and were asked when the payment of the Camry would be due. I informed my Finance Manager Jackie Watson of my due date and she notated my March 21 payment. After receiving a call from the previous Finance company (Skopos Financial) a week later regarding my Toyota Camry car payment, I informed Skopos that I traded my vehicle in and Munday Chevrolet would have a check sent out for my remaining balance. After disconnecting the call, I proceeded to contact my Munday Sales Representative Reggie Thomas, who told me that the check would be sent out to Skopos Financial who wasn't aware of how this process went. I informed Reggie that they are threatening to file this on my credit report and he stated they could not legally report it unless it is 30 days behind. With several calls from Skopos and several calls to Munday, this matter has yet to be resolved. I messaged Reggie Thomas on April 12 and he told me that the check would be mailed out the next day. April 13 I messaged Reggie to follow up on our previous conversation and he stated the check had been mailed out. I called this morning to follow up with Skopos to make sure the check was received and I was informed that they had not received a check. My next month payment is due in 3 days and they informed me that if the check was mailed out on the 13th they would receive it in 10 days. This would make me officially 30 DAYS PAST DUE and would have a derogatory late payment reflecting on my credit report. I called into Munday this morning after receiving no response from Reggie and spoke with a sales manager who was clearly unconcerned about my frustration. This will be the second manager I have escalated to who did not attempt to address my problem. Financial Manager Tyler Bright and I spoke on March 31 when he contacted me to resign the financial documents and expressed an interest in resolving the disaster I was going through. Mr. Bright kept my husband and I waiting for 40 min when we came in to resign our documents and were eventually rerouted to the original Financial Manager Jackie Watson. I had previously expressed my dissatisfaction to Tyler with Jackie Watson, who repeatedly sent me to voicemail anytime I called her. So, to be sat with someone who could not be bothered to address my concerns previously left me in a angered state. It is apparent that neglect and selfishness are the personality traits of Munday Chevrolet once they have acquired all their signatures for payment. I have received no response via email, telephone, or text message regarding a situation that is affecting me caused by YOUR procrastination. I will no longer tolerate this outright disrespect and I demand this situation be rectified. read more

Visited the dealership over the weekend. I have been to several in the Bryan - College Station area and got the run around, no I don't have perfect credit. But Munday didn't treat me like that not like the ones where I live trying to give me so little for my trade in and there was nothing they could for me, I spent most of Saturday there but I got approved and drove off with a Chevrolet Silverado and a better interest rate and I was very happy with Sam and Andrew during the whole process will definitely will be back for my Camaro hopefully next year. read more

I would think twice before getting your oil changed at Munday. I've been there several times but think I finally learned my lesson. My first oil change was a drive up (No Appt). Service guy told me 45 mins.... ended up being 2 hours. He was apologetic (didn't seem like it was the first time he had to apologize to a customer that day alone). However, I missed my meeting because my car was being serviced for 2 hrs. I was literally on the rack for an hour and a half to change the oil. And then they wanted to charge me like $20 extra because my tires were bigger. They are still tires, same amount of lug nuts, just a few inches taller. No extra work needed. Second visit, thought I had them this time. I called and made an appt. Drove in 15 mins till my appt. and bam!!!! 2 hours later my buzzer went off and truck was being pulled around. 2 hours again with an appt mind you!!!! Third time, yes I did it again, made an appt and arrived on a tight schedule so I asked the service guy before taking my truck with an "appt" and he told me it will take 2 hours. I told him no I do not have that kind of time and asked him why so long with an appt. and he pointed to the cars in front. I asked him if they have appts and he reluctantly said "not all of them". So why don't I go in front of those without appointments? He said he cannot do that and joked and said "You know why it takes so long?", why I said? He said "Because they want you top walk around and buy a new truck.". I said well that is BS and not everyone wants a new car when they get their oil changes and I left. The fourth and probably the last time, I was driving by and said let me see how long they will tell me on a oil change without an appointment. Sure enough he told me 2 hours and I said no thank you. My biggest complaint more than the 2 hour oil changes is that whether you have an appointment or not means nothing. You still end up in the queue of which you got there. So, if you have a 2pm appt and 3 cars pull up at 1:50 without appt guess where you go??? That's right!!! To the rear!! Oh and if you complain about why its taking longer than they told you, they will say its the new system that sets up the appointments. read more

Fantastic service compared to Planet Ford (who won't even greet me unless I walk in with my father) and Toyota (that wasted 3 days of my time and didn't even try to sell me the car I ultimately wanted (Came in for a Camry, Settled for the Scion TC and tried pushing me to a Corolla) because they refused to honor a price I was given by the internet manager). I got the car I wanted, the price I wanted without waiting around for excuses for 3 days that I dealt with Toyota even with a Co-Signer (which I wanted to avoid doing, which I didn't even have to do at Munday). I've dealt with Carlos for my Chevy Cruze 14, and dealt with Julio negotiated to help my roommate get a 15 Chevy Camero so I been here 3 times, once before when my dad brought a suburban. At Planet Ford, when I visited twice, I didn't once get contacted, greeted or asked what I was in for and both times was looking at a Focus/Mustang for myself and second time 15 mustang for the roommate. The Customer lounge is far more comfortable then Fred Haas and has more options, and we were given cold water while walking around a large lot during 105 F Texas summer heat. My roommate was even surprised they let him borrow the New 15 Camero LS to show his wife.Munday respected our wishes to go through our own financing instead of pressuring us to go in-house financing. To anyone complaining about long wait time for oil changes, this is a HIGH VOLUME dealer, they go through many cars, and many of them are given free oil changes for two years minimum if they brought brand new. Get a ride once you drop off, or bring a tablet and do it on a day you are free since the service dept is open 6 days a week. Stupid reason to give a one star if service is slow DUE TO VOLUME OF CARS GM SERVICES, Go to Toyota, Ford, or Honda nearby and I promise the your waiting the same time, waiting here has been more pleasant because of the pager system, latte/coffee maker and refreshments and comfortable lounges with free wifi. read more

I was blown away w/ my experience at Munday. We didn't have an appoint so we dropped off our SUV to be serviced on a saturday morning. I never expect them to get done quickly when we do a drop off. However, within the hour they were already calling us to let us know the outcome. Apparently there was a part that needed to be ordered in order to fix my SUV, they told me that they wouldn't be able to order the part til monday and that it'd take a couple of days to repair. I told them that I'd have to make an appointment for the following weekend because I needed my SUV to drive to work. The guy on the phone told us that if we had full coverage insurance he could get us a loaner vehicle. I was highly surprised to hear that because my previous experience with another dealership had me having to rent a car. So needless to say we drove back to the dealership to pick up a loaner and I was shocked when they pulled up a brand new Texas Edition Silverado. My jaw dropped! I enjoyed my weekend driving around in that truck and I was even more pleasantly surprised when we brought it back and weren't billed anything for the loaner. In a year or 2 when I upgrade my SUV to one of those Silverado's they had me driving in, I'll definitely give my business to Munday Chevrolet! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I went in to Munday Chevrolet to get an appraisal for my truck. I talked some young guy at the used cars department and asked him if he could help me out with an appraisal. He seemed hesitant to waste his time on this. I was waiting in an office and not even 5 minutes later he came back and said he would give me about 11K. I asked if they based the value from the blue book and he said :"No, that's just what IM THINKING we'll give you. We just came up with it". I didn't tell the guy much, I just walked away. I couldn't believe after a hard day at work I would come to one of my favorite car dealers ( I've bought cars from here) and get this service. I walked over to the main building to get a state inspection. It was about 4:40 on a Saturday. I walked over to Joe, and asked if I could get an inspection. He said I would have to come back during the week because the mechanics were about to leave. Keep in mind the don't close till 5! I told him they should still be open that I had 20 mins till 5, he kept coming up with excuses. AGAIN! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They have lost my business. Just bought a car from Munday, but I started to walk out 3 times. A little bit was my fault, but the real problem they have an advertised price that is agreeded apon, then they added allmost 3 thousand dollars worth of dealer add on's, that I did ask for, or wasn't told about. They do it in the final step hoping you won't notice,because they just give a monthly payment total. The sales manager did adjust the price when I called them out. I told them that this is no way to do buisness, and many non verbally agreed. It's not just Munday, it's most of the chevy dealers in the area ! We brought our Suburban to Munday for collision repair. When we got it back the battery was dead and the rear AC actuator was out. Munday would not pay to have these replaced. They paid $70 towards a new battery and that was it! We spent over $500 in repairs that the collision team caused. I can trust Lewis to do the right thing by me. I know that when I call or show up he will make sure that my car will be properly taken care of. If they could get 0 stars that's what they would get. Munday Cheverolet contacted my husband concerning him wanting to get a chevy silverado quad cab. We wanted something used and it didn't have to be fancy. We were told no problem. Also we advised them that my mother was in the market for a vehicle as well and had a large down payment. My mom fould the vehicle she wanted and after back and forth with the bank we selected a vehicle that they said the bank would accept. We were there for hours waiting on what I don't know, only to be told that the bank closed and that they wouldn't have a response til the next business day which was Monday. They called my mom and said they had everything taken care of and she could come in and get her car, they never called my husband and when he called they just said come out. Then they called him back and asked if my mom would cosign for my husband. He was like no, I just paid off a car 6 months ago and paid it off early with no late payments. Needless to say we get out there and the salesman that was helping us was not there and SAL Watson helped us. He was rude very arrogant. He asked my husband again about my mom cosigning and my husband and mom said no. He gave my mom one spr and she questioned it because of her credit score (he never had our paperwork in front of him to tell us exact figures) he left came back and said you are right the apr is less. She asked what kind of deal can you work out if I pay cash for the car. He was like nothing so I took over. He demeanor and attitude was horrible. He told us we came to them and I was like y'all call us and you can't make money unless someone buys a car. Needless to say my mother took her money and left. They just point blank told my husband they couldn't get him approved. My husband went to another dealership and they said we have an approval from a bank that said y'all were already approved at Munday chevy with a co signor (which was my mom). My husband was livid. He nor my mom ever gave consent for the dealership to submit a loan with both of them on it. We called the dealership and spoke to SAL, once again the arrogant attitude came out and he said my mom gave consent (lies) she was sitting there and said I never consented for y'all to do this. SAL then starts laughing and joking with others in the background saying we have a disgruntal customer on the phone. We hung up and called the manager, no response. We are making it our person mission to tell everyone about the shady dealings of this dealership. My husband went to Autonation Chevy on the gulf freeway and has the exact truck he wanted. My mom went to Sterling mccall Nissan on sw freeway (excellent service) and has a brand new 2014 nissan versa sedan no cosignors. Just the other day I received a denial letter from a finance company stating that my husband was approved at Munday cheverolet but the approval expired. (But I thought he couldn't get approved) This dealership is the worst. Beware they will hurt your credit. read more

Buyer of Used car beware. It took buying again to see consistent poor service area and dispel the excuses from the first time.I bought a used vehicle 3 years ago, had some spray crud all over it especially the windshield. Salesman said its the sprayers that water the landscape. Didnt notice how bad until sunlight directly into windshield.It wouldnt come off with regular window cleaner, like it was etched in the glass. Called the sales person, wouldnt help but said I could go to their windshield place pay 150, which I did. So I paid for a new windshield. Then just in the last week, I go to trade and get another vehicle. This time same thing crud on the windshield wont come off, and the air filter, cabin filter was filthy, no oil change sticker was on the windshield either.When I asked about it, was told yeah they done it all. When I asked why no sticker, sales person didnt know but they done it. They charged for dealer prep. It was clear no one prepped this vehicle. I took pictures of everything and then emailed them...once again they are saying they prepped the vehicle. Its another rip off and its my fault like I wanted to buy all this stuff and I wanted to clean on the windows most of the day. I will be filing a complaint with the state office. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, that cost me 150, not again. I dont think all of the used car area is bad but definitely something wrong with their service area and they know it otherwise they would have tried to help me. It will probably be their down fall cuz when you sell a car used or new, they need to properly service it. They will not receive any more business from me and Im disappointed in that I have given them my loyalty up to this point. read more

My husband purchased his truck back in February of 2014. The purchase process went great, but the service department is terrible!!! Now he's had the truck a little over a year, so naturally we haven't had to come in too often for things. I'm usually the one to bring his truck in, and have to deal with the bs. EVERY time I have come in for the service department since he purchased the truck I've had an issue!! I scheduled an appt for the 30k vehicle inspection & was basically told they didn't have it down...& then tried to talk me into only getting an oil change and not even a tire rotation! They're supposed to be advisors, and advise on what's best for your vehicle. If the other Chevy dealership wasn't so far away I probably would have been going there. I think I'll make my appts there from now on. Hopefully have a better outcome. read more

My car was leaking oil and the manager from the lube area was extremely proficient and went out of his way to replace the bolt and stopped the oil leak at no charge. He has a keen attention to detail and carefully explained that they should replace the gasket on the bolt to resolve the issue. I am extremely satisfied with the exceptional service and highly recommend Munday Chevrolet. I'll definitely be back for all my services from now on! read more

I came to Munday Chevy previously to have an oil change service done on my vehicle a while back and it was a much different experience but this time I was just astonished at how my experience would go so horrible so QUICKLY. I made an appointment to come in and was set to meet with service employee Todd V. and when I get to the dealership it's packed with vehicles outside waiting for service as expected for a Saturday, so I expected to have a wait to see Todd and get checked in. Well I waited as I'm unfamiliar with the check in process and I eventually asked another employee outside how to get checked in, then I go inside after waiting and see Todd at his stand, and introduced myself as having an appointment scheduled with him, he replied with "ok", I told him I was waiting but I wasn't aware of the check in process and he said "ok" again and informed me of a 3 hour wait, would I be dropping off or waiting. I originally said I would wait but then I had second thoughts. Why would I spend my hard earned money and time where I receive this poor customer service and no type of acknowledgement of a customer. I told Todd to cancel my service appointment and l immediately left. I was looking into purchasing another vehicle from Munday but why bother. I guess after you buy one of their vehicles (which I own) you're not as valuable of a customer anymore. If you are looking to walk away feeling respected and like you made the right decision, this is not the place for you.. we purchased 2 trucks from crook salesman AHMED ALTAHER, he played number games with my husband but in the end he resolved and my husband purchased.. I was interested in a new truck . he let me overnight test drive it.. I thought he was trying to make things right per my husband and I caught on to his number game..I went back the next day alone and in a rush per having to travel out before hurricane to return the truck. some how he talk me in to this purchase.. he came with this high of 70k.. I was like hek no..what he did was play a number game with me and stick me with a truck worth 46k for 70k... I have excellent credit 800 fico score.. I would never purchase a Tahoe for 70K, this truck has factory features that have been removed..he played a numbers game confused me.. then promised to put the factory stepper back on truck as part of the purchase and still has not contacted me over 2 weeks . I have text messaged him about this . told him on lot that I believe this is a mistake that I want my car .. even text messaged him with in 24 hrs saying I want my car back..saved all communication he lied and said he would see what he could do. issues still not resolved read more

I was the very proud owner of a beautiful 2014 Corvette Stingray. One cold day in February 2018, a very discerning rodent chewed its way into the car through my cabin air filter to stay warm. It hid, got stuck and died. I only knew something was not right when I started to smell the smell of decay. I took my car to the SERVICE DEPARTMENT where Todd and Kyle were supposed to have the tech diagnose the problem and advise with the solution. They told me it would be more than 5k just for the labor. They were told to get started. Even after the tech found maggots a few days later, they let the car sit outside with the windows up for an additional 7-10 days (by this time the temps really got pretty warm) before they found the carcass and removed it. Fast forward to today (May 2018), the smell cannot be removed, the car is a total loss, and they are unwilling to do ANYTHING to compensate my now unnecessary purchase of another vehicle due to their incompetence. To make matters worse, John (the service director) even recalled the loaner vehicle I was using. Now, while I wait for the insurance company to get it together, I must do so without a car. Way to show you care, John! If you value your vehicle, don't take it here because they don't care. read more

Great at selling cars, just not great in service. Bought a top of the line vehicle, within a few days had problems called back to speak to my representative and never could get through and never had a return call back. I have had several, when I say several I do mean several, problems with this vehicle and not once did I ever get a return call. So, fortunately there are other dealerships around to deal with all of these problems. But the loaded vehicle that I purchased is still having issues a year later. The only good thing is that we purchased the extended warranty, as we speak I have a rental because my vehicle is once again at dealership, and has been there going on 30 days because parts are unavailable. Munday Chevrolet should have promptly directed me to someone who could take care of these problems, called me back within a 24 hour period and taken care of this lemon. Unfortunately, they are not concerned with what happens once the money changes hands. Never again. read more

I was highly disappointed with my last visit at Monday Chevrolet. First of all, I had made an appointment to test drive a vehicle (2017 Chevy Cruze Hatchback) in the show room and when I arrived for my appointment, the vehicle was still in the show room. I had to wait another hour for the employees to track down all of the keys for all of the vehicles in the show room because all of cars had to be moved so I could test drive the vehicle I was interested in. I would have understood if I had no appointment, but I was physically at the dealership earlier that day and told them I would be back at 6PM for a test drive. Then, after the test drive, I knew I wanted to purchase the vehicle. I was looking into a 3 year lease with 12,000 miles per year. I am also a family member of a GM employee, so I receive an additional discount. However, when they came out with the numbers, they wanted me to pay $450 per month for a CHEVY CRUZE. If you look on Munday Chevrolet's website, the exact vehicle I wanted to purchase was only $175 per month. When I brought up the website to the store manager, he said that the car has special wheels, which makes the price much higher. He then said that he has to make some money and that was why he could not offer me a better price. Yet, as a GM family member, the dealership is not supposed to make any money. They are supposed to offer us the same deal they would offer themselves. Additionally, wheels that cost $2,000-2,500 DO NOT more than double the cost of the car monthly. However, the worst part was that I paid for my father to fly down from Massachusetts to help me buy the car. As I am young and this is my first large purchase, I knew I would need him to co-sign. Therefore, I felt swindled because clearly Monday Chevrolet has a major issue with false advertising. I never would have flown my father down here to Texas for what was clearly a rip-off. Also as a fun fact, my parents just singed a 3 year lease with 12,000 for a 2017 Lexus RX for $400 per month. I find it hilarious that a high-end Lexus SUV costs LESS per month than a Chevy Cruze. Next, after making the above known to the manager who was useless during this entire ordeal, we were finally able to speak with the employee in charge of leases. She re-ran the numbers with our discount, and it turns out the vehicle would only cost $200 (without rims) or $275 (with rims). I find it simply amazing that this is the only individual in the entire building that was able to come up with these numbers, especially after the manager had told us he had his 'best people running and re-running the numbers'. After all of this, you will be surprised to discover that I did end up purchasing the vehicle. This is only because I love that car and no other dealership in the area had that specific car with the correct packages and in the color I desired. I really did not want to purchase this vehicle from Monday Chevrolet because I find their establishment completely repulsive. The employee who took me on the test drive was unable to answer any of my questions, and the manager was only looking to take our money. I will NEVER recommend Munday Chevrolet to anyone. In fact, I have specifically told my friends to avoid this establishment at all costs. As a GM employee family member, I am dumbfounded and disgusted that GM allows this kind of behavior in one of their dealerships. I hope that something will be done in response to this survey. read more
