Ordered on doordash for the first time. The meal was packaged so nicely so ty for that! The condiments (tzatziki sauce & hot sauce) were delicious and placed In a separate plastic bag in case it spilled. I'm glad they have half ordered of their fries since I can never eat it all alone. I got the gyro fries were were great! The gyro meat didn't seem to be freshly sliced so not sure if it's bought in bulk like that and reheated because it was a bit thicker and I didn't see the cut marks but it was still good. The fries are medium width and also tasty. I loved the veggies on top to make this meal a bit more refreshing. Everything was in a good amount but I would've been down for a little more feta. As for the sandwich, it was also created and packaged wet nicely. Looks delicious (ordered for my man later so unfortunately can't write about that but looks amazing. I will def be back and try other items! They have a variety of dishes. Can't wait to try the fried Oreos!
This is some of the best munchie food! I love coming here and just zoning out on all the combinations and choices! I love ordering the breakfast tots with carne asada with a couple pours of the green salsa hits the morning spot! They have an amazing selection of craft sodas! Quick and speedy service from when you order to when they bring it to me waiting in my car! The store it kinda small but it does not match the huge flavor and personality they have behind the counter!
Tried this place on the whim. From the reviews, we were excited to try the food. Entered and was greeted by a middle age man but he walked out so we were left waiting. The front is very small with the menu plastered on the wall since it is a "take out" place. As we looked over the menu, we wondered when someone would actually come take our order since there were no vocal acknowledgment from anyone but after a good 5 minutes, a young man walked up and took our order. My husband ordered the California Burrito and I ordered the Surf & Turf Burrito that came with tater tots inside. Unfortunately, I found it hard to eat my burrito because each time I bit into a tater tot, it was just too salty. Because of this, I had to dig out each tater tot and eventually stopped eating which was disappointing since it was $17. The sauce that came with the burritos were a bit watery but still had good flavor. I don't know if I would return but if I do, I'll definitely try something else.
I absolutely love this place, the service here is amazing as soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with amazing hospitality, the food here is great they can do some things with a tater tot you would never even think of, another great thing about this place is that they accept hot foods for the EBT which I think is great living in the community that we do live in there's a lot of people that are not able to cook themselves a hot meal so places like grabs offers a hot meal and a smile from their amazing staff members, this is hands down one of my favorite places to go for a breakfast burrito, if you're looking for a little hole in the wall and creative ideas grubz is it.

Food: veggie burrito (no beans), BLT sandwich, carne asada burrito. The veggie burrito was super tasty with mushrooms, grilled onions and green bell peppers, avocado, tater tots, and pico de gallo. It reminded me of a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. After awhile it felt a bit like too much oil, but this is not health food so what do you expect! The green salsa on the side was not spicy at all and I was hoping for a little kick. Ambiance: hole in the wall - don't be scared or you'll miss the opportunity for tasty food! Service: super friendly!
Grubz Takeout was surprisingly excelente! You can get burritos, burgers, loaded tater tots and more. You can also order via Uber eats, which makes life easy. I had the loaded carne asada tots. Through on extra add ons like Jalapeño, nacho cheese and pico. Absolutely delicious, even with all those items, the tots came extra crispy, which is how it should be done! Definitely recommend the loaded tater tots.
Little hole in the wall for take out orders. Variety of tots and fries to decide from. We tried the carne tots and was not disappointed. Will try some of their other varieties next time.

I've been here before about a few years back, and I really liked the menu and all the various options that you could choose from. You could literally choose from fried oreos to burgers to sandwiches to whatever your mind concoct...they even make Hot Cheeto nachos! My description of their menu choice doesn't cut it, however I'll post the menu in my pictures so you guys can lose yourselves at their many many choices! Last time I came, I got the waffle bun and that's what I got again this time because breakfast all day is something that you don't play with! It's what I would consider the most ultimate breakfast sandwich for the fact of not only it's size, but the amount of food that it is stacked on top of each other. Two freshly hot waffle buns with a scrambled egg and sausage patty and freshly melted cheddar cheese. And the best part about it is, you can have it for breakfast lunch or dinner or as a little munchy type meal. This place has literally everything that I would want to find at the fair right over here in the college Grove area. Come check this place out and say what's up to Jose and the staff who also provide wonderful friendly and attentive service. It's in the back of the little shopping outlet right beside the laundry mat! read more
The customer service was very great. I was greeted and they brought me out my order while I waited outside. I ordered the pollo asada tots large. It was freshly made. The only thing is it was under seasoned and the red sauce wasn't spicy at all. The sauce also lacked flavor and spice. Hence why I deducted a star. Overall I appreciate the friendliness and quick take out. read more

The service was super quick and friendly here. It's definitely a grab n go type of spot with a wide variety of options. I was craving some fried Oreos and was happy that they were fresh and they tasted great, just a bit too much batter for my liking. The fries were fresh as well and very crunchy and tasty! read more

I absolutely love this place. We come here at least once a month. And every time the hardest decision is what to try this time. Everything we try has been amazing. Our favorites are baked potato tots, these pulled pork tots I'm currently eating , the breakfast tots, the tj burger, pretty much everything lol and the customer service is always amazing not sure why we've never asked the guys name but he is always very kind and helpful with recommendations read more
Grubz has perfected the art of takeout. Well packaged and priced, they always make it easy to order and chow down. There isn't indoor dining but the parking lot is spacious so pick-up is easy. When placing an online order, they'll give you a call when it's done which is usually quick, 15-20 minutes. Utensils, sauces, napkins and special requests are always fulfilled by the kind staff. =YUM= Their loaded tater tots can be interchanged with French fries or chips. Personally I enjoy the fries with the cheesier options and taters for the saucier ones. *Pulled-Pork Style: SO much pork. Tender and sweet from the BBQ sauce, a guaranteed hit. *Philly Style Steak: soft onions and green peppers with shredded beef. Slightly creamy from the cheese. *Surf & Turf: nice ratio of shrimp to carne asada. The pico was refreshing and overall, very clean and non-greasy. *Nacho Style: everything you love about nachos piled high on a crispy base. Super cheesy and acidic from the jalapeños. *Meat Omelet: came with pancakes and hash browns. Omelet was packed with sausage and ham. Incredibly filling and a great breakfast special *Onion Rings: crispy appetizer. Paired well with a side of ranch *Carrot Cake *Churros *Craft Soda: super fun selection ranging from Shirley Temple to teriyaki beef jerky. =OK= *Philly Style Chicken: good alternative if you can't have beef but the steak version is superior. *Hot Cheetos Style: similar to the nacho style but more expensive. Not worth the extra cost. *Breakfast Burrito: average but filling. *Fried Oreos: came with chocolate sauce. A bit too doughy and cakey for me to enjoy the Oreo center. From their breakfast to loaded tots to desserts, Grubz delivers. Come by for a solid breakfast and lunch, or a greasier option for those late nights. read more

I moved to the neighborhood about 6 months and I saw the restaurant in the corner on my way to 7-11 thought I tried the breakfast burrito and I have to say it was amazing came with tater tots, eggs , sausage, cheese pico de Gallo and sour cream cooked to perfection, but what I really loved was there surf and turf burrito let me say I've been coming back ever since it comes with carne, shrimp tater tots, pico de Gallo, cheese, guac, spicy sour cream and to top it off I added bacon you have to try grubz it will change your life read more
I came here to purchase a bunch of tater tots for a friend's birthday gathering due to tater tots being one of her favorite food items ever. Together I ordered: 2 orders of gyro tater tots breakfaster full tater tots baked potato tater tots I heard not a complaint from anyone - in fact, pretty sure it was all gobbled up by everyone who ate it. Covid Related: I don't think the workers were wearing masks inside at least the person who I ordered from was not wearing it, but I did appreciate that the woman bringing out the food was wearing her mask (or tried to, it looked a bit loose), and she was very nice, advised me to make sure to hold from the bottom as the bag wasn't very sturdy for the amount of food I had ordered. The gyro tater tots was what I ordered and it was freaking DELICIOUS! I had to drive about a half hour after I acquired the tater tots, so I was half expecting the tater tots to start to be soggy, but Grubz must have some magical wand because their tater tots were perfectly crispy and crunch yet nice and soft inside so whatever was smothered on top made no difference. I believe it was the same for the other tater tots. I was amused by the quote on their door (see picture). Though I think the gyro tater tot is not a bad alternative for someone who wanted a slightly "healthier" version of tater tots (as opposed to say, Hot Cheetos), but no one is coming here looking to eat healthy - one should go elsewhere for that! I'd love to see a lobster version of the tater tots one day. It would be quite a bit more expensive, but I think it would be a hit. If Grubz were closer, I'd be frequenting here more often. Unfortunately due to the distance, and especially since it's just a takeout place, it will have to remain a place to go for more special occasions. That may be a better thing in the long run, for my heart and blood vessels :D Definitely try this place though if you love tater tots. The tater tots really are cooked to perfection. read more

I was scared to try this bc Hot Cheetos and this combination just seemed weird, BUT the flavors surprisingly work really well together! I definitely think this was a unique experience that everyone should try at least once. The Cheetos add a nice crunch and flavor to the tater tots and other toppings. A lot of texture and flavors in this dish, I couldn't eat it all in one setting, but it was really good! The customer service here is also super good! The cashier was so friendly and helpful!!! read more

Ordered the baked potato, pulled pork, and carne asada tater tots. They were $12 a piece, but I added nacho cheese and jalapeños to my carne asada order, which made them $18. However, my carne asada tots came without the $6 nacho cheese and jalapeño add-on. When I called, I was told they were put on the side, which they were still in the bag! All three orders had some extremely crunchy tots, if that's your thing. I prefer a little more moisture (and not fry oil) in my tots. They still had good flavor though. The carne asada and the pork had great flavor but the baked potato tots were dry, so we added some of the nacho cheese sauce. I wouldn't say I HAVE to go back, but it's the only take out place that offers smothered tots in a variety of flavors. Since they are so close to the only Sams Club in the SD area, I will more than likely give them another chance. read more

I come here often and hardly take pictures of the food. This is a take out place it is super tiny and is by the 7-11, laundromat, and liquor store. This is a great place for a quick fix of food. Especially during quarantine, it is great to just call and pick up. My husband usually gets the surf and turf tots or the pulled pork. The veggie tots were okay to be honest. I felt like that there was too much going on with the veggie tots. There was one day I was really craving in n out and ended up seeing the grubz fries are made just like the animal style fries from In N Out so I gave them a try. Honestly, I would leave animal fries to In N Out. Everything else is pretty good though. I also posted a pic of the fries only bc that's the only one I remembered taking a pic of before eating. read more
