Every review I read I could relate to. However, like others, I felt the name alone (Camping World) could be trusted to be the best when it comes to, oh I don't know, purchasing a RV, Motorhome, etc... I don't even have words for all of the sleazy business that went on with our sales and continues to go on with our warranty service. The mega camper dealers are notorious for add on markups to the stated price. Often these add on charges are in the thousands of dollars. Basically, the stated price is worthless. This was not my experience at Bill's. The price quoted was the price paid. The service experience I had at Bill's was exceptional. We picked up the camper and went on a week long "shake down" trip. True to form, we had a problem with the camper. We were camping about four hours drive from Bill's. I expected to hear "bring it back, leave it here and we will get back to you". With Bill's, I could not have been more wrong. The experience I had was that the service team tried to trouble shoot the problem over the phone. When that did not work, they found and sent a service tech to the campground where we were staying. That service tech could not locate the problem and Bill's suggested we stop by on the way home to let them try to fix it. When I arrived at Bill's, the service team immediately engaged the problem and spent hours getting it right. I was completely blown away. I took a stack of business cards and handed them out at the next campground. While I was waiting, there was a string of people coming into this dealership who obviously thought highly of Bill and the team. I am now one of them.

A beat up POS was shown to us as our new Brinkley. Recliners had the slide out beat up . Kitchen slide had whole from hitting open drawer in Kitchen ! Window that had light of day coming through ! All 3 slides had uneven slide tops ! They were writing a book what was wrong with the unit . Manger sad it was because I didn't like the furniture design ! You bet buddy when it bangs up the slide out . A powder coated metal slot where you litterly had to pick up into was bare to the metal! Brinkley let us know that the have pictures of every unit that leaves there shop ! So we asked to see 3600 Brinkley and decided to upgrade ! We were to pick up 3600 on June 25 th . All work was to be completed and we were too finIsh transaction. Work was not DONE ! TOLD THEM WE WERE DONE....wanted our money back ! Told to bad for you signed nonrefundable down payment ! It was a long ride but it was worth it. The Ad was true to every detail. Scott showed us the RV and was accommodating and easy going. He was extremely patient while we were able to thoroughly investigate the RV and confirm that it was exactly what we wanted. Andy prepped the RV and oriented us with all the systems within it and how to use them and what precautions to take. It was all clean and shining when we arrived to take possession. Kathleen took care of all our paperwork and we were on our way to new adventures. This is a great family business that I would definitely do business with them again in the future. All promises and commitments were met and our expectations were exceeded. I wish we lived closer. It was a very easy and pleasant transaction.

We had Blue Ox tow plates installed at Harbold's on our tow vehicle in July. After very little use…read moreless than a year later, we were hooking it up to take on a trip and discovered that the bolts had come loose and two fell out of the tow plate. We were very fortunate that we made it back safely from our previous trip. We called Harbold's right away, but they said they couldn't get us in for at three-plus weeks. We had plans for other trips using our tow vehicle, so we contacted an authorized blue ox installer. They were able to look at it in just a few days and they discovered that the tow plates had not been installed properly using Loctite on the bolts as required by Blue Ox. That dealer installed them properly and we are now able to use our tow vehicle. Once Harbold's realized that we were going to write a negative review about their mistake, they offered to take a look at it sooner, but it was too little, too late.
