The sea salt caramel ice cream was creamy, luscious, and full of flavor! Our server was so generous with the scoops and I loved the complimentary waffle cone circle! Next time I will definitely be coming back for a scoop of the Gulab Jamun ice cream . Stopped by here well picking up a pizza from another place and wow I'm glad we stopped in. This place is a great treat with some fun and unique flavors. The service was great and very friendly letting us take our time to pick the right flavor. The place is well lit and offers seating if you wanna eat there. G's Creamery is a laid back hole in the wall ice cream shop. The ice cream is so delicious and doesn't taste like it's full of sugar. The staff member helping at the front desk was not very friendly but the ice cream we received was absolutely delicious. The inside of the place was very clean. It was very quiet... I have never been to this place before and we all decided we would like to give it another try. It is a corner shop in a very nice area. The churro ice cream was so good. I had high expectations for this place due to Yelp reviews but found it rather lackluster. The customer service was barely there. My ice cream was okay. And my son's Sweet Buns ice cream was really just a heavy dough covered in high fructose corn syrup. He felt forced to eat it because of spending money, but we told him if it really was that bad, that he didn't have to eat it. (I tried it and wouldn't take another bite, so comforted him in tossing it.) It was a late summer day on a weekend and an empty house, so I'm not sure how they're handling the PG&E bill with no customers and a thin profit margin. Definitely will not be coming back. There is actually good fresh made ice cream in this city, and this just ain't it. read more

It was OK. We usually don't come to this part of town often, but we really were in the mood for some good milkshakes and came here. I do not recommend getting a milkshake from here....i just wanted a plain cookies and cream milkshake, what I didn't catch in time was the employee making it, who added chocolate syrup in it and a TON of syrup around the cup that I didn't ask for. It's not a huge deal, but all my milkshake tasted of was chocolate syrup...and it totally ruined the cookies and cream flavor. My husband got a fruity pebbles milkshake, but what they don't tell you is that they use birthday cake ice cream, not vanilla. His was also smothered in strawberry sauce. It was like a huge sugar bomb. If you get a milkshake, ASK EXACTLY WHAT'S IN IT because they don't list the ingredients. Also, their website prices don't match the store's prices. It's only .50 more in store, but it's nice to know. read more

So disappointed! Apparently there is a new owner (?) and the thing that made this shop so unique--the yummy Indian flavored ice creams--is gone! The ice cream there now is pretty run of the mill, not terrible, but nothing unusual. The service was still good. The obvious religious theme is pretty off-putting, even for religious people. Oh well, off to Ampersand! read more

These people do not know how to make milkshakes. I've been here multiple times because I like the cinnamon ice cream. I've ordered a milkshake from this place at least on 10 different occasions. Every single time they mess it up. I order a cinnamon milkshake, and get thin cereal milk with a straw. Did anyone ever tell these people ice is for snow cones, and not milkshakes? The way you make a milkshake is by blending whole milk with ice cream. If half of the milkshake is regular ice, it's basically just a water shake. On top of that, adding cheap Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal instead of the right amount of cinnamon flavored ice cream is literally just going to make it taste like watered down cereal milk. These peoples milkshake blender should be confiscated. read more

We love this place ! However the hot bun warmer has been broken for 3 weeks now... so if you want a donut ice cream it's on a cold bun and it's definitely not the same. Since the warmer machine was still broken this time, I thought I'd get a cone instead.. but nope because they were out of cones.. disappointing and I don't think we will be back. read more

Stopped by after having breakfast in the area. The employee who helped us was very friendly and helpful. It was our first time. We got to sample the different Indian flavors. I think these flavors were acquired taste because a few of the flavors had ginger in it. We ended up settling on the mango sorbet which we were told that was very popular. Is this a place that I would come, only if we're in the area. But I would suggest anyone who has an open mind to give them a shot. read more

First time trying out this ice cream shop!!! The young lady working yesterday evening was so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed their coffee with chocolate chip (I forgot the official name) which the lady recommended; done they ran out of the coffee w almonds. We got there late so next time need to get there early so they don't ran out of the yummy unique ice cream. My son loves to try unique flavors and enjoyed the kalooda kulfi. This is a must try ice cream shop...and they close late. I can't wait to return!!! (Ice cream was yummy we forgot to take photos of the ice cream we bought ‍) read more

Cute little shop with a decent amount of tables inside, they got the basic flavor and a couple different ones. Sadly I did not take pictures. Great customer service as well. I went with a single scoop as well at my friend. I got strawberries and cream and it was pretty good. You can tell it's freshly made, it had that fresh sweet creamy flavor. We sat outside as we kinda went 30 min before they closed. They got a couple wood benches set outside with some lights hanging. Delicious flavors of the Orient! I taste tested all of the Indian flavors and went with two that I originally came to try: Falooda Kulfi and Alphonso Mango as well as a third Pistachio Mumai Kulfi. The first is named after popular Indian dessert, the second is a yummy mango that tastes alot like the popular Indian dessert Mango Lassi. The last is a pistachio with a hint of ginger, so good. I highly recommend with a great atmosphere, friendly service and plenty of parking. They also have traditional ice cream flavors , waffle cones and sticky buns which look like donuts but they use to create ice cream sandwhiches....wow! read more

I went in tonight and ask for an Oreo milkshake and strawberry ice cream. She proceeds to tell me no milkshakes when I seen that she just got done cleaning the blenders. She tells me there is no milk. Really cuz all the blenders were clean and I could clearly see them she just didn't want to make the milkshake that was very apparent and clear. You suck gs creamery and your customer service is even more poorly. So disappointed I will be telling everyone you lost our business and our families. read more

It was nice that as soon as we walked in, the server asked if we wanted to sample anything. We all passed and concentrated on making our selection. Plenty from which to choose, including vegan and Indian flavor options. Two of us had strawberries and cream, the rest had pistachio (one with cream, the other flavored with saffron). It was nice that the pistachio was a natural color, not the fake mint green color you get from the grocery store. My bff had her ice cream in a sweet bun, which is much like a doughnut served heated. 4 words... I LOVE THIS PLACE! Hands down my favorite ice cream shop on town! Not a whole lot of inside sitting on a busy day, but there is outside sitting. The cute decors on the wall make good IG posts. Everytime we come we always get greeted and get exceptional service. The worker are just as nice and as sweet as their sweet buns... lol. But seriously they have wonderful workers excellent customer services they never disappoint like the ice cream! They are organic. The workers would always ask if we've been, only because they like to explain their products which I think is amazing, they would also allow you to sample any flavor you like. I love places where workers are knowledgeable about the product they sell. My two favourites are the milk and cookies (cookies and cream) and the cinnamon churro. My go to flavors and each time the ice cream is very consistent and delicious. I love the sweet bun with the ice cream, it's basically a donut ice cream sandwich. They seal the buns with the ice cream inside and the warmth from the buns along with the ice cream in the center makes a perfect pair. We usually get the lime pop drink with our ice cream but they haven't been selling it so we tired the cherries and creme I was surprised that is wasn't as sweet as I expected, it was really good actually. Definitely going to pair it again with the ice cream when we go back. Overall, highly recommend this place. Cute place, wonderful customer service and delicious ice cream! read more

The ice cream is good. But it seems that everytime I come in there is always something that I believe they could do better for their customer service. My husband and I went in last night after dinner for a scoop. Sometimes we share a scoop because we just want a few bites to fullfil the sweet tooth. However, last night we wanted different flavors so we each got a scoop. I knew for a fact that a single scoop was way to much ice cream for me. So I ordered a kids scoop. They made it for me but did inform me that she was going to have to charge it as a regular scoop because I was an adult.... I said sure that's fine.. I got my ice cream at regular price and moved on with our night. I didn't make a fuss about it because this place has a reputation of upsetting me. However, just wanted to update the review that I am still unimpressed with their customer service. I get i am not a kid. But I did get a kids size scoop. I don't understand why I would have to be charged more for less ice cream simply for my age. I could have lied and said it's for my kid at home and then what ? Would I have to prove that I have a kid ? It's hilarious. And ridiculous. And in summary, their bad customer service is starting to outweigh the taste of the ice cream. read more

I don't know how this place has lasted here for this long because I don't ever see anyone inside when I drive by. That being said I am glad they are here because they make the best ice cream this town has to offer! You are definitely getting what you pay for here, though it may be more cost effective to take home a pint that a couple of scoops... I love the decor of this space - I have seen it go from various shop to shop over the last 3 decades and I'm glad it is G's Creamery now. It is such a bright and inviting retail space that it literally draws you in from outside. Even in the cold of winter I was craving it. Now the customer service is pretty mediocre - this is typical of places that hire high school students. I get it, I was once one, too, but c'mon if you're excited about the ice cream you're selling, the consumer will experience more joy when they purchase it - it just makes sense! A happy consumer is more likely to leave you some gratuity! read more

Wanted late night ice cream and this was the only place open. It's nice and clean in there. Only one guy working. He was really nice and answered all my questions and even offered some samples. I ended up getting a sweet bun with Indian chai ice cream & fruity pebbles as the topping. It was perfect! My bf got a sweet bun as well with cinnamon churro ice cream with Cinnamon Toast Crunch topping. He liked it. Love love love G's creamery! Perfect for a post dinner treat. Super cute ambiance love the neon sign, great for a nice photo opt. So many flavors to choose from I have yet to try one I didn't like but so far the mint chip is my favorite. They also have sweet buns that I actually haven't tried but definitely will in the future. Covid-19 Phase: They are having a reopening by different business owners sale. 20% off! I went in to check it out. The worker had a mask on and was nice. I thought they had other welcome items to celebrate, but found out it was a private party. Only for them. They had many great flavors. The worker said they are healthier and organic. I picked Birthday cake. I was pretty disappointed in the toppings selection they have. Not a huge variety. I just picked cereal to go on top. I was expecting them to have healthier, low calorie options. The worker just said it was healthy because it was organic. They also didn't have lids so the worker just put the cup as a lid. Ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. I wished the fro-yo portions matched what customers received in the past, and there was no option to order small, medium or large. The flavors: pistachio not overly sweet was perfect for my wife. I ordered the half chocolate half brown sugar and only could taste chocolate so I was disappointed . Also their "fish" cone had a salty aftertaste. Overall, it's not an experience I would even give a 2nd try.

We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship?
