Last time I was here was during the spring football game at Clemson. Since then they closed during the pandemic, regrouped and opened back up. Cusps to them. I ordered the Stromboli with a Cesar salad. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Food came quickly which was great because we were hungry. The reason for the 4 stars was that my marinara sauce was cold (like from the fridge cold). Asked to heat it up for me and it came back nice and steamy hot. They should have sent it out hot to begin with. Anyway, overall the food and atmosphere was great. I will definitely be coming back again when I am back in town. read more

G's pizza is a great addition to downtown Seneca. We love being able to sit outside on the back patio while sharing a pizza and getting a drink. Our favorite pizza to order has been the fig n pig pizza in addition to the great wine selection. Service has always been great, with servers happy to be helpful ordering from the menu. read more

Second attempt at ordering takeout, this time was at least successful. The previous time our order didn't get put in so we were told another 45 minutes when we arrived to pick it up so we left. This time the order was ready when we arrived. The Pros: 1. The order was ready and the food was hot. 2. The food was fresh and tasted comparable to other pizza establishments. 3. The staff was friendly and acknowledged me as soon as I entered. 4. The location is great. The con / disappointments: 1. The pizza (Supreme $22.75) was slightly over cooked 2. The pizza toppings were minimal 3. There was way too much crust on the pizza (appears they are trying to save on cheese and toppings. 4. The Meatball Sub $13.75 was for a SIX-INCH sub! Let me state that another way, G's would be charging a whopping $27.50 for a standard 12-inch sub like you get at most other establishments. The meatballs on the sub were a bit larger than most other restaurants though, but not that flavorful. A second look at G's menu on their website doesn't state the size of their subs either. There is no way we would have ordered a six inch sub for that ridiculous price. 5. The side Caesar salads $6.25 were pedestrian at best and the quantity wasn't enough to fill a small cereal bowl; just romaine, a bit of parmesan and plain unseasoned croutons. All in all, G's is a decent/average, well located restaurant, offering average quality food with below average quantity at premium prices. Our total bill with 18% tip came to $62.45 (no beverages were ordered). I don't see myself being a patron in the future when there are better options readily available. read more

First time here on a Saturday at 12:30. It's a small little restaurant downtown. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The inside is small and we were freezing so we sat outside it's beautiful and they have fans but still kinda hot. They cook food in the brick stone oven. We ordered g-knots, supreme pizza, and Italian sub. All the food was pretty good. Overall the service and food was decent. I'm not crazy about the brick stone pizza but a lot of people are so that's why I gave it 4 stars. read more

Let me explain that to you ...we come to town from Tampa, FL and this is the pizza place we make it a point to go to! 1) quality food - we live in Florida and found this gem in downtown Seneca, SC in the Spring (during the COVID crazy lifestyle), and we instantly fell in love with the taste of the food. Take a Stromboli and make it divine with a flaky crust, perfect combination of melted cheese and a side of delicious marinara sauce. 2) delightful service - we enjoyed yet another wonderfully attentive, and friendly, server on tonight's visit (Sara), and during our prior experience we were cared for by another employee who is still here and helping in the kitchen. 3) great local business helping to make Ram Cat Alley the place to be And 4) a wonderful selection of adult beverages (especially for a small town pizza place!). Check out the awesome selection of by the bottle options (in addition to on tap brews and by the glass wines). Incredibly Delicious! My wife and I visited from California while staying with my parents and stopped by the Keowee Brewing Company for a beer and then onwards to G's Pizza House. This place is on point. The pizza dough is a perfect match between thin and thick crust, a ton of delicious cheese, and high quality toppings. Service was very attentive and Chase did a great job! We loved our experience here! We got a supreme pizza and a half pesto/half Buffalo chicken pizza. All were delicious but I'd have to say the pesto chicken was my favorite out of all of them, which I wasn't expecting. The cheese used on the pizzas was excellent. After eating here a handful of times, these are my assessments. Consistency = toss up, if it's a slow night, you'll get good service and good food (Seneca standards are low), if it's a busy night (Thursday Jazz on the Ave or Friday)- you will get poor service, and poor quality/incorrect menu items. There is no leadership in the kitchen and there have been multiple times that we had to wait to eat because there was NO clean utensils available when our food was delivered. The last time (we decided our last time ever) we were offered plastic utensils for our completely dry Caesar salads after waiting 20 minutes to see a server. It's disappointing to see a once promising local/family owned business succumb to the daily grind of not caring at all about the basics of serving their customers. read more

Some of, if not the, best pizza I've had in Clemson and Seneca. Been there multiple times have never been dissatisfied. The pepperoni, chicken bacon ranch, and buffalo chicken were all great. The garlic knots with the mozzarella were amazing. Definitely will continue to come here. read more

I was very close to eating this spot 4 stars based on speed of service, but it gets 5 because the pizza is fresh, hot and delicious. My best friend and I were passing through Seneca and wanted pizza. It was fine but nothing really stood out for me. There was a strong bitter smell of something burning the whole time. Not the pleasant wood fire smell I was hoping for. The pizza was ok. I don't feel the taste quality was up to the standard the price suggest. The staff were pleasant but preoccupied I think. This place has potential but we were disappointed that the staff multi tasked from throwing pizza dough to handling the cash register to putting out more chairs and then right back to making more pizza rounds. No hand washing between tasks. If you're making the food you should just be making food. Bathroom faucet handles are on backwards and upside down, the hot water handle fell off . Tried Gs out in a pinch for a meal tonight and it didn't disappoint. Loved the place itself even though we took our food to go. Pizzas were supposed to be 14" but several were bigger, a nice surprise. Garlic knots were just ok, a little expensive for the size and still a little doughy. Pizza and salad were on point. Would have loved to have a little more basil on the Margherita pizza but it was good anyhow. Everyone devoured the pizza and salads. We especially loved the white pizza. Unlike the "Karen" that gave the first review (her only review), this tiny little pizza joint was pretty darn good. We had the Fig Pig pizza and it was amazing. The garlic knots and the meatball appetizer was also delicious. It's run by young folks and right next door to Keowee Brewery. The patio out back was cool to sit under while listening to live music at the brewery. Good pizza, good apps, good vibes for the price you pay. read more

Loved the pizza and service! My husband had the Fig and Pig pizza. I had the Caprese Pizza. Both were outstanding. We tried the garlic knots and Caprese salad too. Also excellent. My family and I were visiting South Carolina over the 4th of July weekend and G's Pizza House. I think it's safe to say that we visited them at their busiest as their staff was overwhelmed with the many orders that they were making. Overall the pizza was very good and the service was the best that it could be (considering the circumstances). My family enjoyed the adult beverage selection as well as the pizzas. I would give it a 5, however we did have to wait a substantial amount of time to enjoy their great pizza. We would definitely come back to G's if we visit Lake Keowee again! read more

Yes, it's that good! We had the supreme pizza and it was crispy, wood-fired goodness. The place is small, but there is more seating on their patio. We sat outside because the AC was too cold inside, but that's my only complaint. The fan outside kept us cool enough. Service was very good and friendly - thanks, Jasmine! We took half the pizza home and ate it again tonight and it was still just as good. Here's a hint - heat it on the stove in a covered skillet on the lowest heat and the crust will stay crispy. read more

I ordered pizza for the first time and the last time it was overdone and they did not put a whole lot of topping on it and it cost us $20.00 did not think it was worth it was not a large pizza it might have tasted better if it was not burnt. I called them and let them know about it and all she said was I will let the chef know. read more
