G's Pizza has a nice selection on their menu that goes far outside of just pizza. They have a really good burger here and during Lent they have a seafood menu in classic NOLA style. The pizza and everything else I've eaten here has been really good and I've enjoyed all my visits here. The inside seating area is very tiny and they have more outdoor seating. The service tends to be good and they are efficient at refilling your drink. Overall I like this joint and I tend to return here quite often. read more

I really wanted my pizza, but I immediately found a hair in it. I waited 25 minutes for a pizza with hair in it. It completely ruined my appetite. Very disappointed. Update:I don't even appreciate this response. I called in a pizza, was told it'll be ready in 20 mins. Terrible customer service from the management team. Online price showed $14 for a bucket of beer and we were charged $20. We were never told menu prices changed but the"shift manager" Lexi came out and said "we should have read the fine print and Ali was working to change the online pricing". Came here for a little date night, Service was the first thing we noticed and everyone was friendly upon walking in the door. Our server knew the menu and was easy to talk with so it made our decisions easy. We tried the roasted crab dip for our app and it was sooo good. Creamy and loaded with crab. The soft pita was a really nice addition. For dinner we ate half and half pizza of Cajun shrimp and buffalo chicken pizza was really good and flavorful. Can only share about pizza that was picked up. Very disappointing. Ordered on line. Picked up at the time that I was told.... actually about 5 minutes prior to time. Pizza was warm at best. Order a 16"' Margarita pizza. Definitely nothing to brag about. Not much flavor and center of pizza was doughy on a thin crust pizza. Looks are deceiving. 2nd time eating here and once again amazing! We are in love with their pita bread and hummus. There's flavor is amazing! The pita bread is homemade, hot and fresh. I love the amount of olive oil they put in their hummus. We tried the Greek Gyro pizza and like it. I thought it could have some more Gyro meat in it but it was good. Our daughter's family loves the cheese bread and crawfish pizza. When a restaurant is liked by all 6 of us, it's definitely a hit! Staff are all friendly and attentive. I cannot believe I have not posted a review for G's pizza and all these years! This neighborhood spot in Mid City is a great destination restaurant as well as a last-minute dinner savior! Whether you are dining in, taking out, or getting delivery, you will not be disappointed. I have done all three many times. I guess I'll start with the pizza. Their pizza is great. Not sure what else to say about it. I especially like their Narcissist and Rainbow pizzas. They're almost always running some kind of special also. One thing that's really nice. Is that if you have issues with gluten, their gluten free crust is actually still delicious. One thing I almost always order. Also is the city Park salad. It's the kind with spinach and strawberries and nuts and a special dressing that brings it all together. I can eat an entire large city park salad in one setting, and not because it's small. They also have really delicious roasted brussels sprouts and many other fun, fun and tasty appetizers. They also have sandwiches and pastas. Don't get me started on the crawfish and shrimp, spinach, artichoke dip, or the cheesy jalapeño bread. So head down there, order your favorite wine or beer to pair with your meal and have a great time. read more

The staff are very welcoming and our waitress was very attentive! We started with the spinach and artichoke dip! The pita bread was so soft and melted in your mouth! If they would've added a little garlic butter on it and toasted it would've been top tier but it was goood! The dip was really good and cheesy! We had the buffalo wings which were tasty! Really cool atmosphere. The back patio area is really nice. We got the Narcissist, the Meat Lovers, and a Chicken Pesto Pizza. All were very good (7/10). The crust was thin and light and getting the pizza with spicy marinara sauce UA definitely the move. I need to mention the hummus (8/10) and Brussel sprouts (8/10) were top notch. We visited Gs pizza on a Football Saturday night and still received great service. The waitress was kind. The crawfish flatbread was delicious. We shared a Buffalo chicken wrap with fried. I wasn't a big fan of the food here. I ordered honey mustard wings. Even though the wings were a good size, the sauce wasn't great and it just looked like mustard spooned on top of the wings instead of the wings being tossed in a sauce. We also got a meat lovers pizza. Mediocre at best, but my 4 year old nephew liked it. The cheese pull was nice though! The brussels sprouts were good, but they will a little heavy on the pepper jelly. I was glad that we went on a Thursday, and got the special with 2 half priced sides. We ended up with a large pizza, wings, Brussels sprouts, a margarita, and a chicken avocado wrap w/ fries for around 65.00. The margarita was strong, which I appreciated. This is my third time to G's Pizza and this time was just as good as the last two times. The first time it was for an adoption event with a local rescue and G's Pizza was super generous and supportive of these adoption and fundraising efforts. The last two times were during Happy Hour. I have now tried the Bayou Crawfish Gourmet Pizza and Cajun Shrimp Gourmet Pizza. Both are super good! During happy hour you can get any of their Gourmet pizzas for half off. They also have daily specials that you can take advantage of. The appetizers are all quite good and plentiful as well. I would recommend the Sample Trio so you can try all of their dips! The stuffed mushrooms and spinach dip are also good choices. This is a favorite pizza place for me! Great food, portions, prices, and service! Drinks: They have a few beer options of tap, some good margherita choices, and wine. Happy Hour: Monday-Friday, 3-5pm. 1/2 off Pizzas and drink specials! Service: The service was good. Still my favorite pizza place in nola! This time I got it to-go, they had my order ready when I got there, and prices were reasonable. I tried the cajun shrimp pizza and added roasted red peppers. It was so good, and is probably my new favorite! I was a little worried at first as I normally don't get/prefer shrimp on pizza, but it was so delicious. Also tried the jalapeño bread this time and it was sooo good!! This place really never disappoints. Hope to be back again soon. Also! I hadn't been back since they re-did the outdoor seating, and the set up was so adorable with the lighting and everything, I loved it! Well, I apologize for the lack of photos! We were hungry and no one thought about a picture until everything was GONE! When we arrived at the guest house we were renting, everyone told me to order food. I went with my favorite pizza....G's! I ordered a large pie with shrimp, tomatoes and cheese, and another large "meat lovers" pie. For a healthy touch, I added a large "house salad". The delivery driver arrived quickly, and both pies were hot. The salad greens and tomatoes were fresh, and the rest of the ingredients were delicious. If you're thinking about going to G's, stop thinking about it and just do it! It's a cute little place embedded in neighborhood. The outdoor patio is also super cute! My daughter and I went and Rowan was our server. She was fantastic!! She took such good care of us. I had a small build-your-own pizza and my daughter had the bolognese. The pasta came with a side Caesar salad; my daughter doesn't care for Caesar dressing so I ate it and it was delicious! The spicy marinara on the pizza was also fabulous! We ended with the molten lava cake - also delicious! I wish it would have come with a scoop of ice cream but it was still excellent without it - cooked perfectly so that the molten part was nice and molten-y! Yesterday I called into G's Pizza around midday to make a large order for a philanthropic party for New Orleans teachers and the volunteers that support them. Ordering was straight forward and quick. When I arrived at G's a bit early I sat at the bar. I spoke with the staff who learned that this order was for local teachers and local volunteers that go into schools to help. The staff provided some extras for the party graciously. A lot of companies talk a big game about supporting schools, teachers, and students. G's saw an opportunity and didn't hesitate to support and that is worthy of our support as patrons. Not only does G's have a giving heart but the pizza is great! I ordered several different pies but the meat lover pizza and chicken pesto were really great. I didn't eat on site but I saw a family eating and the outdoor space was pretty. Recommend? Yes. I tried the vegan jalapeño cheesy bread and the vegan NOLA green roots pizza. Both were delicious. They use Daiya cheese for their cheese substitute. I'm not familiar with different styles of pizza so whatever style that has some dough, you know not crunchy or foldable thin and not eat only one slice cause it's all bread. This was that in between. Doughy, but cooked all the way through kind of doughy. Good amount of toppings and cheese, some places seem to skimp on the vegan cheese even though they charge extra for it. Marinara was great. It was kind of like homemade, but if you told me it came out of a jar I would believe it cause it's good enough to be jarred. You know? Jalapeño bread was kind of exceptionally good. So good that next time I might contemplate having the entire order as my meal. If the weather allows it, well if you can handle the weather I mean, sit outside and enjoy the vibe. read more

When the weather is gorgeous we love to grab the pup and eat somewhere with outdoor seating. It had been a while since we had G's so we walked down and got a table on the patio. They're dog friendly and even had a water bowl for him to use. For appetizers we got their spinach and artichoke dip with pita bread for dipping and their feta fries. The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious and we had enough pita to eat all of the dip. The fries were good, but we could have used more feta sprinkled throughout the fries instead of just on the top. We also got a small Bienville Supreme to split. I've been seeing this Pizzeria advertised and decided to give them a try. The scenery was very homey and welcoming. It isn't sparkling clean but not dirty. The wait staff greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. We ordered an appetizer The feta rolls ( I would place a double order if you have a table full they only give two at a time) they were delicious and the sauce was tangy but complimented the feta roll. My boyfriend and I placed a to go order here on a Sunday after hearing about them from one of our Lyft drivers while we were in town. Our order was placed about an hour or so before they closed so we picked it up. However, I so wish we had realized they delivered because it would've been a lot more convenient. I enjoyed my gyro the most. I absolutely love gyro's but I'm used to them being on the traditional pita bread so the wrap/tortilla was a change. The meat wasn't finely sliced like most gyros I've had in the past but overall I liked it. I'm not sure if the wrap was because we ordered to go or if that is their standard but either way it didn't disappoint. We also had extra tzatziki sauce. My least favorite item was the spinach and artichoke dip which was a little disappointing because it's my go to appetizer. The serving size is amazing but I prefer dip with chips and ironically it was served with pita bread. I think there may have been more spinach than artichoke and other ingredients because that's what I tasted the most. So it had a bitter after taste that I wasn't a fan of. We wanted to try a few menu items so we opted for a small build your own pizza because slices aren't available on the weekends. The pizza was good, I don't have any complaints about it and I loved the Italian sausage. But it probably would've been more cost efficient. Their special board had a lot of good deals but a majority were for weekdays.
