Nice big place with interesting decor. The service was fast and friendly. The chips were brought to the table with salsa and a bean dip. The chips were fresh, light, and crispy. No complaints. The bean dip was a pleasant surprise. The salsa was good enough. We tried the diablo wings and saved most of them for leftovers as they reheat nicely in our air fryer. We both had fajitas which are a large serving with ample tortillas provided which was also a surprise as I usually have to ask for more. The food is usually pretty spot on. My favorite is the pollo con crema. My hubby's is the grande combination platter. The problem is the service. It is always slow as if you've just straight been forgotten, even when it's slow. Where do I start. I had a quesadilla. It came out smothered in a a red sauce. I've never had one smothered. Way too much melted cheese and had to cut the tortilla with a knife. I had to stop at a gas station on the way home to use the bathroom. I spent most of the night on john . Bad flavor and worse results. Hopefully the health department will visit soon. My companion had a combination. The Chile rellano was smothered in what looked like green sauce. Like the quesadilla should not have been smothered. Both items should be hand held. I've eaten here several times. It is one of my go to places. The food is fresh hot and well prepared. The customer service is above average. The cost is reasonable. I like to get a smothered Super Burrito I think with pork, beans, and rice in it. I get the chili over the top with lettuce and tomato, sour cream and guac. My family went out to dinner here, hoping to find a good spot for Mexican cuisine. We were sorely disappointed. I ordered the cheese enchiladas plate and the cheese inside was not melted, and the enchilada sauce was very unappetizing. I've had enchiladas many places and these tasted like the base was made from ketchup. The sweetness was overpowering. The atmosphere is very nice however, and the margaritas were good. I would say for our visit, the customer service could use some work; the service wasn't bad but the servers weren't very attentive and were maybe preoccupied. My husband tried to ask what drinks they had for children and the server just said ok, didn't tell us any options and showed up with 3 kids sprites. The hostess also completely ignored us when we walked in. Overall no one enjoyed their food and sadly we did not find our new regular spot for Mexican. read more

Coming from San Diego, we're known for delicious killer Mexican food. Being far away from home this was a nice surprise. Almost felt like I was back home. Lol. The decor and ambience was vibrant and energetic. The place was getting packed for dinner time so you know this place has good food. I had the carnitas plate which was tastefully tender. The beans were great and the tortillas were perfect. We were all happy with our meals. Dessert was a nice delicious way to end our meal with bunuelos chips topped with whipped cream and strawberry syrup. We'll definitely be back! Thumbs up and fist bumps!! read more

I must say I was impressed! The servers were very kind it did take awhile for them to take our order but we sat at the same time as multiple other tables and the chips and bean dip made the wait a lot easier! The refried bean dip that comes out with the chips and salsa was so excellent! The salsa had too much tomato and was not spicy at all. I don't know if I would call this a great restaurant, but my party of five had been driving cross country all day, pulled into Casper pretty late and this was one of the places that was still open and we thought would serve vegetarian food. Tired and hungry, we ordered the margaritas on special, ate some very decent Mexican food and watched soccer on the TV (at the end of the game we were joined by some of the staff). I have had MANY GREAT experiences at this restaurant and at the one in Cheyenne, BUT we are very upset about our experience last night. We drove from Casper Events Center over to the restaurant to arrive at 9:33, stand and wait to be seated for 4 minutes, and then be turned away. "The kitchen just closed." Posted hours for Saturday are until 10 PM on their website. When we arrived, there were customers still in the restaurant, the open sign was lit, and there was another party waiting to be seated. We were both turned away after being told that it had been slow and that they decided to close early. No apologies and no further explanation. That is ridiculous! Not a way to treat your customer base. They had just closed. Give me a break!! Where were we supposed to go at 9:45 after we had driven across town. Find a way to make this right! read more

I had eaten here before and I remembered it better then this visit. Was in town with my family so we came for dinner. The chili verde was good but the enchiladas were not. We are used to our enchiladas having cheese with the meat. These were meat only and we did not care for the red sauce with the ground beef. My wife felt that everything tasted the same. The first time I ate there it was delicious. The food appeared and tasted fresh and it was hot. The first visit was the whole reason I went back a second time. On my second visit it was like a whole different restaurant. The meal was flavorless, luke warm and just all around not very good. I don't know if it's one of those places where it depends on which cook is working or what, but I was pleasantly surprised the first time and surprisingly disappointed the second. The environment is mediocre at best. The booths are all tore up. Table was dirty. Sauce was very soupy and my beans had minimal cheese on them. They offer some food (e.g. fish served whole) and drink (e.g. Hacienda-Rita) that aren't found everywhere. Neutral: Located just off Hwy 220 in Casper, Wyoming. Cons: This is really a 4 1/2 star review, to leave room on Yelp for restaurants that offer complex regional Mexican food, that isn't offered here. If they chose to add items of this kind to their menu (already large) the restaurant setting is more than adequate. I can't go back to this restaurant. I used to be a die hard lover of this place, but unfortunately what happened the other day makes me nauseous. My mother and I were waiting on our food and I went to the restroom. There was only one stall that was funtioning and it was occupied. When the bathroom stall opened it was an employee. She did not flush, wash her hands, and to top it off when I went into the stall she didn't even use toilet paper. I know that may be a cultural difference, but the fact that she didn't wash her hands is unacceptable. I honestly hope they are not cutting corners with health food safety and cleanliness. We stopped by Guadalajara while traveling through Casper. I ordered the Deluxe Chicken Burrito and only had about two bites. It was so bland and dry. Luckily we had also ordered the Tostada de Ceviche de Camarones (Shrimp Ceviches on a tostada), which was delicious! It is seriously some of the best ceviche I have ever had and I ended up eating that instead of my burrito. Large portions, but stay away from the deluxe burritos. read more
