This place is awesome! We stumbled on it on our way through Longview and now it's a topic of conversation almost every time we drive through town. Fun atmosphere, great food, and service. This is clearly a spot where locals go - the servers seemed to have a personal relationship with everyone who walked in the bar area. Fajitas are amazing! Definitely one of our favorite Mexican food spots. read more

Very unimpressed. Mango tango margarita was way too sweet. Needed more lime juice or acid of some sort. Took over half an hour to get appetizer that was hard, dry, and lacked flavor. Carne asada was burnt and again lacked flavor and seasoning. Beans and rice completely flavorless. $55 for a margarita, one small appetizer and one dinner. Salsa was good. Service was mediocre. read more

I've been here twice, and that will probably be all I will go. For one thing, the second you walk in the door, there is an overpowering smell of bathroom cleaner that just isn't appetizing. The food is very expensive for what it is. I'm not sure how two tacos with an ounce of meat in them and a large, shallow pool of beans and rice adds up to $15. Flavors are ok, but not good enough to make me willing to pay the price. I also had a raspberry mojito that tasted purely sweet. The mint didn't come through, the rum didn't come through, and even the tartness of raspberry didn't cut the sweetness. Service was good both times, with multiple people checking on is, refilling drinks, etc. read more

I truly love this place.. Good service friendly people yummy food at reasonable prices .. & the drinks are awesome

A great restaurant! The people are always very outgoing, the food is very fresh, and the service times are good. I always know to be ready for a pleasant experience when we go here. read more

Typical Mexican food. Great service, very fast. Great drinks. A little on the spendy side.

The Guad is ALWAYS are go to for Mexican food. Staff is always friendly, restaurant is always clean and the food is fantastic. Love sitting outside when weather permits. Need a beverage? They have a great selection. read more

Being on a fixed income we don't go out to eat very often. On those special occasions we always visit Guadalajara. After 4 years of enjoying their food we highly recommend them for these simple reasons: Their food is great, the service is fast and the servers treat you like family. read more

From out of town, at a volleyball tournament. This place had good reviews, and DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. Great food and exceptional customer service. We will be back anytime we are back up this way. Thank You. read more

The food here is excellent and the service is phenomenal - a winning combination! I find the pricing to be reasonable for the large portions. The staff makes sure you are well taken care of, and even make personal connections with their repeat customers. By far the best casual restaurant in Longview/Kelso. read more

If your looking for good Spanish cuisine you've come to the right place. Best food, huge drinks, GREAT service!!

Service is friendly, kinda slow when busy. Great food. The best mexican food in Longview.

I've not ever been disappointed with the food, service or prices. This place obviously loves their customers! It shows in the special attention they give everyone (like you're they're personal friend) from the time you're greeted at the door till the time you leave. The food quality is wonderful, portions are huge ( I always have left overs from another meal), service is stellar. I love their glasses of wine, even though I can't get past 2 of them as they're big! What value for your money! The atmosphere is good, it's just a bit crowded in the bar though. They get so much business the pub tables are stuffed into the lounge and it seems as if I'm always getting bumped into by people trying to get around me when I sit there (NO, I'm not fat!). It's a ways out of town, but worth the drive. Good parking. Nice decor. This is our go-to place for Mexican food in Longview, and there are many places to choose from. read more

I have been here about 8 times and have not once been disappointed. The food and drinks are very good. I have been very impressed with the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The consensus in my family is that of all the restaurants we have been to in Longview (which is almost all of them) this restaurant has the best service of any of them. read more

I'd been here before at it was okay. Came back and had forgotten the prices were premium for Mexican but that's fine. Waitress and Host were quick and nice, we had our drinks and chips fast. Our food arrived and appeared grim. Smallish sized portions, bland, at least the cilantro was fresh. We have eaten at many of the other Mexican food joints in town and this was the worst food yet, we make much better Mexican food at home for nowhere near the cost. We asked for more chips and they never came, in fact we never saw our waitress again after the check was handed to us. read more

Awesome food and super friendly service! The guac was perfect, the salsa was spicy and delicious, and the pico de gallo was excellent. I would definitely be back, even though it feels like it's a little out town. read more

this place is overprice, and they blame the minimum wage for the huge price increases. Drinks are extremely overprice. I had a couple of mediocre micheladas and i was charge 20 dollars. If you like this place you don't really know was good authentic Mexican food. Drive a half a mile west and go to monarcas. Its much better. read more

They have the best food and huge portions so you always have left overs I love the staff there always checking to see how you are and if you need anything keep up the awesome work. :-) read more

When I called to ask if they serve GF beer the gentleman on the phone said he would order the kind my husband drinks and have it next week! Now that's service! I ordered party trays for a surprise party last year and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! We had some special dietary needs to work around and it was perfect! Salsa is amazing! read more

My girlfriend and I were headed north to Vancouver on a bike tour and stopped in Guadalajara for dinner. The food was great, and the service was fast and friendly, but the real testament to this establishment came after we left. It turns out I had left my passport on the table, and didn't realize it until we were past Seattle. So I called in and spoke to the manager, Rigo, and told him about my predicament. Rigo didn't hesitate to help, and in fact personally shipped my passport to Bellingham, WA, where we would be staying that day. The staff went way out of their way and pretty much saved our entire trip from falling apart. I will definitely be returning to Guadalajara the next time I'm in Longview. read more

We have dined here for nine years. Each time, about three months apart, the prices go up and the quality goes down. Service is fairly good. Tonight we paid $11 each for large margaritas that had no tequilla taste at all, but otherwise pleasant. The food was okay but not very spicy and a request for spicy salsa yielded one no more spicy than their normal. We won't be back. Too many better Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

In the beginning (at their opening) we experienced excellent service and food. In late May, my wife and I invited 20 plus friends and family to celebrate her birthday (After recommending this restaurant to MANY others). We experienced poor service and when addressed with the owner (Jorge) he showed very little concern and defended his staff. We understand large parties pose problems for some and gave them a second chance. My wife's sister had given her a gift certificate for this restaurant. When we returned, our service was again "dismal". Waiting for 40 plus minutes and seeing others served that arrived after us, and again waiting just for "hot sauce" ruined our meal. WE will never return NOR recommend to friends and or family or YOU to patronize this restaurant. Sorry but true!! read more

I love it here. It is my favorite place in town, I think the waitstaff really makes the difference with their great service and attitudes. Food in general is a little more to the traditional side than large chain restraunt style, this to me is great but turns some people off when they are not used to it. Try a burrito if you are hungry and try any drink and appetizer at the bar its all good. read more

I am always looking for authentic Mexican restaurant, This place is extremely overprice. I had two micheladas in two different times, and I was charge two different prices. I believe the charge for the chips, but they are disguise on the price of the drinks read more

My husband and I, along with our daughter, came to Guad's as a last minute craving that I had for Mexican food. Luckily, it is only a few minutes from our house! We were seated right away the first time, within 5 minutes the second time, and we were treated so well like they knew us for years. The margaritas are on point. The first time, we were lost as to what kind of margaritas we should order (their drink menu and margaritas selection are very vast, but no prices. Don't let that turn you off, the margaritas are worth it!) Our server, Riqo, recommended the Jorgitos Margaritas. We were not disappointed. Amazing taste, good buzz, worth every penny. Husband had the enchiladas del Mar, a huge portion of seafood enchiladas that were served with tons of beans and rice. We compare the "plate" to what a tray of drinks are served on many restaurants. It was surprising to me how much food was brought to him, it was huge! I ordered the combo plate (I forget what number) but I ate the pork tamales with shredded beef enchiladas. My daughter had a beef taco with beans and rice, she is 3 and for kid's menu she had a large portion of food. Although it may SEEM pricey, you get a lot of food for the price and wonderful service. Leftovers are a bonus :) we also had the fried ice cream for dessert, a huge portion of ice cream with a sweet coconut crust that again, we ended up taking home. So happy with our service and amazing taste of food. Even on a Friday evening the second time we visited we didn't wait for long, maybe 5 minutes. Husband had the same dish, I had the chorizo con huevos (#11 I believe) a dish I cook but can never perfect. This was the best plate I have had. Again, my husband ordered the Jorgitos margarita and I had a strawberry margarita. Like I said, service was great for a Friday. I love the quality of food and the "expensive" price is worth it. Go here, you won't be disappointed. We love how close this restaurant is to our house. 2 visits in less than 2 weeks should definitely show that we are more than satisfied! read more

My girlfriend and I ate there for dinner last Saturday. We both had fajita combo plates. The service was excellent. We were greeted by every wait staff we came into contact with, or walked by with a smile. The bad was that the meat was nearly not existent. The meat had been finely chopped and mixed in with all of the vegetables. They could have easily left one third of the veggies off the plate. I would have at least felt like there was more meat. Usually when I order fajitas the meat is sliced and served on top of the veggies, not hidden... read more

Went to Guadalajaras back in February and it was the first restaurant I've found from Portland north that made a really good tamale. My boyfriend and I went there last night and we were not impressed one bit. He ordered Enchiladas Del Mar which is supposed to have King crab, scallops and shrimp, but there was no seafood in it...just a bunch of lettuce and tomatoes wrapped in a tortilla and covered with sauce. I ordered a Chimichanga, which are supposed to be deep fried and crispy, and a tamale. I was brought a soggy Chimi and something wrapped in a corn tortilla. I asked the waitress if they made their tamales with masa and she said yes. When I explained that what I was served was wrapped in a corn tortilla, she checked into it then confirmed that there was a mistake and brought me a tamale to take home, even though I ate the "enchilada" they had served me with my dinner. Her explanation about the lack of seafood in my boyfriends enchiladas was that they were running out of seafood and had to add less to each dish to make it last longer. Ummm...excuse me? I get half the seafood for the same price of a regular serving? How about half the seafood, half the price? Or maybe, you serve the dish until the seafood is gone and then let customers know when they order something with seafood that it is not available because you ran out? $18.99 is an awful lot of money for 3 small lettuce and tomato enchiladas! We received no discount or option for this issue and it left me quite disgruntled considering the cost of the dish. We only went there because I wanted some tamales, but they are not worth the expense or the experience we had. They are one of the more expensive restaurants in the area and it's just not worth the risk to our pocketbook to go through that kind of experience again, so we won't be going back. There are a couple of other options in the Longview/Kelso area that are a lot cheaper with pretty decent food. I can live without tamales. read more
