Located on the corner of Bell and St.Joseph St, is this gem. Los Alamos is a great little town and rich in history. There you'll find it's newest addition, Los Alamos Coffee and Tea. The little coffee shop has a homey vibe, despite it being small, it has a table outside to enjoy your pastry or coffee. Be prepared to be greeted by the owner, whom is very welcoming and friendly. Owners are locals and are working towards adding more variety to their menu. I had the pleasure to visit the location during the Los Alamos yearly Old days, and have supported this locally owned coffee shop since then. I ordered simple iced coffee Mocha and was not disappointed. Come in and support this local business and local family.

We come to Los Alamos every year and we were so happy to see a new locally owned coffee shop. Alli the owner was so sweet. We had their the "fancy cowboy " latte which isn't on the menu yet, it was so good! Did not disappoint and their matcha. Cozy places to sit indoor and outdoor. If you're in the area visit this place.

If you want to visit a really cool coffee shop in Los Alamos, this is it. The owner makes specialty drinks... I'm sitting on her sunny patio now watching the town visitors enjoy their day... Drinking her newest invention, winter wonderland It's a 10!

Ally is absolutely amazing! Hands down the sweetest person I've met in Los Alamos. Her new café is a total gem, and I can't recommend it enough. The Matcha Latte is incredible, and I can't wait to try her original signature coffee, "The Fancy Cowboy." Don't miss out on this spot--Ally's warmth and charm make it a must-visit!. Cute little spot to hang out outside as well!

Coffee was amazing!!!! Definitely worth the drive.

I've been reading about Bob's Well Bread for years now and given all the back and forth I've done…read moredriving to Cal Poly you'd think I would've made by now. Now happened. The baked goods are really good (get the sticky bun and morning roll) and the lunch menu is varied, something for everyone. Bob's reminds me of my travels in France - at least the way you eat in France.

I have been a loyal (often) customer here since it opened, always consistent and fabulous!…read moreI don't know if it is still under Bob's ownership or has made a change, but today was not at all the usual! Coming from Santa Barbara, I got there 15 minutes early and waited outside in my car, then went to the door when it was just about seven. The blonde server who was there at 7 am Sunday 6/14 (i have seen her before) with the ponytail probably in her 40s was very snarky and condescending! She opened the door at literally two minutes of, saying you are two minutes early! But I will let you in this time. I said thanks, it is cold and misty out there smiling. She turned to me and snarled it is two minutes early! just say thank you! Ick Then when my breakfast was delivered, the "cappuccino" was just coffee with a little bit of floating almond milk in it- vs the fabulous ones with half an inch of foam the guy used to make (I am blanking on his name I am sorry I think it started with an R with the dark hair in the earring). He made a great cappuccino so this was surprising to have it just be coffee with a little milk. BTW the breakfast sandwich that was supposed to have scrambled eggs and arugula had an almost invisible tiny flat piece of fried egg White and three little arugula leaves and that's it - chocolate almond croissant had maybe one molecule of almond paste and one molecule of chocolate nothing like they used to be so I'm wondering if it is under new ownership?

GET READY FOR A TRANSCENDENT DONUT EXPERIENCE…read more Just off State Street on Figueroa, you'll find a donut shop that feels more like a craft breakfast kitchen with a serious pastry soul. The owner's love for their craft, staff, and product make for an inviting ambiance you don't find in many establishments in their class. DON'T MISS BREAKFAST Their menu goes far beyond donuts, blending whimsical, flavor-forward pastries with substantial breakfast sandwiches and bowls featuring bacon, turkey sausage, and mouthwatering, fluffy eggs that taste like they've been kissed with something buttery, creamy, and completely unforgettable. PASTRY IS IN THEIR DNA The first sign you're in the right place? Walking past stacks of pastry flour on your way to the donut counter. Nothing says "this is going to be good" like seeing the foundation of the craft right there in front of you. And these are not airy, forgettable donuts. These are brioche-style, flavor-filled, butter-forward creations that deliver exactly what the menu promises. CHOCOLATE CHERRY ALMOND OLD FASHIONED (OH MY) The Chocolate Cherry Almond Old Fashioned is in a class of its own. It surpasses every old fashioned donut I've had, with a light cake base, a low-oil profile, and none of the overly craggy, greasy edges you get from a less thoughtful donut. This is pastry territory. The chocolate and almond are subtle at first, then the cherry arrives with a dramatic full tastebud activation -- sweet, salt, fat, and bitter all working together. The cherry blooms at the back of your mouth like springtime near the Capitol in D.C. or a Japanese cherry blossom landscape. It's where cake and donut collide into something that redefines the experience for kids and kids at heart. SNAP-CRACKLE-POP TREAT WITH AN UPGRADE THAT'S SWEET The Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treat Donut is another five-star execution of both concept and flavor. The Rice Krispies are real -- not decorative. They sit in a marshmallow flow atop a lightly sweet donut that oozes buttery goodness, with just the right touch of salt to elevate the sweetness and add that extra delight on the palate. I'LL BE BACK! Hook & Press is not just making donuts. They're creating edible moments. Santa Barbara is lucky to have them.

Found this place on Instagram. I was super excited to try it. Especially the cream cheese doughnut…read more Sweet: cute place. Good customer service. They have a good selection of doughnuts all unique flavors. The coffee is really good. The server for my coffee wrong but I ended up not correcting it because it was very good. I ordered the special salted caramel brown sugar but for the salted caramel instead. I wanted to go back to order another coffee. My first bite of the cream cheese everything doughnut I was disappointed. But as I ate it more there was more cream cheese which I enjoyed. Sour: we ordered other doughnuts as well. We were pretty full all day so we didn't get to try the others till the next day. I'm guessing we should have forced ourselves to eat it the same day. The flavors were good. We ordered brown butter, carrot cake and pistachio lemon. By day 3 they were completely bad and very hard. The everything doughnut is not consistent in the amount of cream cheese inside. The one I had next day was not as filled as the first one I had. We ordered some doughnut holes as well and the glazed was melting. If I'm ever back in town I'll go for the coffee for sure and order 1 doughnut so I can have it fresh.
