We came to Guajillo restaurant on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in hopes of having a wonderful lunch. We were greeted by a young man who offered us to sit down so that we could stand up to take our order at the register later. After we ordered and proceeded to sit down again, we were presented with our sopita roja con Chilaquiles. Huarache was dry and has maybe 2-3 frijoles machucados. While enjoying our food another worker came by and took one of our plates with food in it before we were all finished. Not only overpriced but they take the food back if you don't eat fast enough. Never coming back. Good luck

My second time here in less than a month. I drive from Norwalk for their delicious meals. Excited to hear they'll be opening one closer to us soon. Come check it out, you won't regret it! Gael & Gaby had excellent service.

Found myself here on a sunny Sunday with the most amazing plate of chilaquiles and a mango margarita that really sets the tone for the rest of the weekend. Guajillo has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently delicious and the new alcohol portion of the menu is going to be a mainstay. The food is served "en el estilo de Mexico DF" and has delicious flavors and spices. I have tried pretty much the whole menu, but the showstopper is the chilaquiles topped with carne asada and two eggs. It is next-level, authentic and tasty. The ambiance is festive and there is always a good-sized crowd, but the staff is friendly, courteous and finds a way to keep everything moving. Honestly it feels like a second home to me, and they know a lot of their customers by name. Just an incredible group of people. The salsa is the secret weapon. I come weekly for it so I can have table salsa at my house throughout the week for my own meals. I have brought several friends here, and they have rave reviews as well. Grateful for a place like this.

My husband and I found out about this place not too long ago and we love it . The food is great, satisfying to the last bite , the place is clean and the customer service aligns with everything else. I highly recommend the chilaquiles y los huaraches are super delicious. Overall 10/10

Great tasting and fresh chilaquiles with plenty of sauce. Absolutely loved the generous portions with great seasoning on sauce and my steak. Hidden gem for great chilaquiles, something so simple but yet so hard to find a slot you can truly come back to. You place your order on the counter and pay upfront. Then pick up your order as well. Simple and effective process to keep food coming out quick and burning hot. Casual indoor setting with seating for small to mid size groups. Not Ideal for large groups but I am sure something can be worked up for you. Jamaica is one of the best I've tried.

First time here. We saw a Facebook reel by ErickSabill0n. I recommend you arrive early and be prepared to wait as the food is prepared fresh, including the tortillas. I had the bistec ranchero, and my partner had a huarache with eggs over medium. He told them it was my birthday, and they brought a flan with a candle. We also had two pieces of Mexican sweet bread and coffee. We enjoyed everything and had leftovers for another sitting. We highly recommend this place. It was worth the drive from San Pedro.

MENUDO review My boyfriend is from Mexico and he said he was craving menudo. I told him that menudo sounds good, but it's so hard to find a delicious menudo spot! The menudo is bland, or from a can, or too much hominy. He said, hominy?? Menudo doesn't have hominy. Only pozole has hominy. I said, well, all the menudo I've ever ate had hominy in it. Even my grandma made menudo with granos. He said, "No, no, no, no. El menudo no lleve granos. Con grano ya no es menudo. Y tampoco le pones cilantro." I said, okay, well now I gotta find a spot that makes Menudo without granos. I called Guajillo to as how they make they're menudo. I asked if it was made by hand, or from a can. They said house made. I asked if they make menudo with granos. They said, "Noooo, menudo no lo hace con granos." I said, ok, I found a place to try. They seem promising so far. We ordered our menudo. I ordered mine with pata and he didn't. The soup came out and the broth was a rich, deep, red color. The panza was soft. The pata was cooked perfectly. Ooooo it looked and smelled so good. It looked like it was going to be some of the best menudo I have ever had. I added onion and oregano and I started. So delicious! The pata and panza was amazing. I buttered up my homemade tortilla with some salt and I ate that with the menudo. Guau. The hot, soft, hand made tortillas and butter were incredible. He said he really enjoyed the menudo and tortillas. I think I did a great job finding a place he'd like!

Authentic Mexican food handmade tortillas are so good. Chorizo con huevo my favorite. Customer service was great thanks gabby

BAD customer service ! Not tasteful food !! I had requested no onions because i despise onions, receipt said no onions ! I took a full bite of onion bits and as i informed the server she was so rude about replacing my plate. As if i was at fault. I don't understand why i received attitude when i kindly let her know i had requested no onions. Left the place really unhappy not recommended at all ! for the price food was not worth it ! You can definitely find another mexican place way more tasteful than this for the price you pay.

Amazing service and even better food!

The tacos were incredible, extremely fresh. I had a shrimp taco that was served with a medley of grilled vegetables and it had just enough crunch. It was LOADED with plenty of shrimp. The Korean Asada had a different unique flavor and I would definitely order both tacos again The ambience was great, and everybody working had a smile on their face, and the music was great. Overall, some of the most unique interesting flavors I've had. Thanks Chendo! I'll definitely be back. Wishing this place all good things

Their barbacoa is wonderful, really juicy, and I love that they garnish with pickled red onion. I also tried their Tinga Masala, yes that's chicken tinga cooked in curry! It wowed me, it tasted so good! Their tortillas are hechas a mano, handmade corn tortillas which made it even better. Definitely going back, gonna try their burritos next time! I'm just shocked I overlooked this spot, I live really close and they just opened a coffee stand in the same spot which I also recommend! All the staff are friendly and lively, they were very nice to chat to!

Demanding as Mother's Day, when most places are overwhelmed, they still managed to deliver an experience that felt intentional and heartfelt. Despite the long wait, it was clear that the demand far exceeded expectations, yet the service never lost its warmth. At one point, she even offered me an agua fresca as a gesture of kindness while I waited. I respectfully declined, understanding that a day like Mother's Day comes with heavy volume and pressure, and that delays are simply part of supporting a small business doing its best under strain. What stood out most was the owner's presence. She carried herself like a mother to everyone there serving each customer as if they were family. She stepped away from her own personal time to make sure other families were fed and cared for. That kind of sacrifice and commitment is not just business; it's cultural preservation in motion. TACOZ brings authentic heritage flavors to the city in a way that feels irreplaceable. The tamales, carnitas, and overall food experience were deeply rooted in tradition and full of flavor that reflects generations of culture. People should understand that moments like this are not about convenience they are about supporting something real. On busy days especially, patience is part of respecting the work being done. Instead of criticism, there should be appreciation for what it takes to keep a small, culture-driven business alive and thriving. In the end, TACOZ delivered more than food. It delivered a connection to heritage, family, and community. That kind of experience is something worth valuing and protecting. Keep Going gurl ! I'll be back and so many of your audience ! One person doesn't bring down a team ! Thank You ! *Your food brought tears to my family knowing they will never be able to go back to Michoacán for several reason but was able to revisit them once more !

Both meats were good, but a little under-seasoned for my personal taste. I also tried the Jamaica agua fresca. It was refreshing, but I'd personally give it about a 2 out of 5. On the other hand, the salsa macha was really good and added a lot of flavor to the meal. The place is a bit small for dining in, especially when it gets busy, but the customer service was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. I'd definitely come back again because I noticed several other menu items I'd like to try next time.
