The unit recommended in the quote for a "Mini-Split" performs beyond expectations. We have one room in our home that could never be AC cooled. Because our ducting is not accessible (a manufactured home with no attic access) we opted to have Guaranteed Air install a mini-split AC unit. Dany and Brandon were our installers. They did an excellent job, protected room furnishings and clean up inside and out. It has been a year since new ducting replaced. Original asbestos ductwork that was 50 year old. Unfortunately I found he replaced with non code r 6 insulated ducts instead of r 8 ducts into the bedroom areas . Only the bathrooms had the right insulated ducts.. The company did not suspend ducts per code to make sure no kinks in air flow z as bd could have had a mixing box to make ducts go direct to vents so I have had reduced efficiency for a year with air flow. It is partly my fault for not getting other bids to check how ducting could have been better. read more

We started up our Air Conditioner for the first time this year since it's been so cold. I hear the fan blow but the outside compressor was not running and the fan on the unit was not spinning. His team did a replacement of our condenser, moved the furnace into the attic, added returns upstairs to increase air flow and replaced our gas powered heater with a heat pump. Danny and Christian just installed my A/C and heating unit and I couldn't happier. The unit is HUGE! We haven't had A/C for 17+ years. With 60 foot ceilings upstairs and downstairs summer have been brutal. They even replanted the little tree that had to be taken out to make room for the A/C. How sweet is that? They ran out of refrigerant but said they will be back in a day or two with more and after that I will be able to use A/C for the first time in years. I'm very excited. They were here all day but still took time to show me how to use the new thermostat, and at the beginning of the day helped me move some things that would have been blocked by the A/C since it was so big. We needed an inspection of the hood vent and a whole house fan that we have been using in liu of A/C and they were happy to do that as well. Tarrin, their office manager, even said she would send us a written report of the hood vent and whole house inspection. (We need it for our neighbors who think the exhaust has been leaking into their unit). I am very pleased with Guaranteed Air and highly recommend them. I called Clase after we had a horrible experience with Dana Bray at All Air Systems. Clase came out and found that the work was not complete, not hard wired or sealed. So glad I called Guaranteed Air! I was having an issue with the a/c condensation line, it was clogged and all the condensation water was leaking down the side of the a/c instead of draining out.
