WELL-DESERVED 5-STAR REVIEW. I should note I am a picky reviewer. Got a chip the size of half a dime on my Tesla X front windshield. Steve was on time, efficient, pleasant, completed the repair in about 20 minutes, and my windshield looks awesome (it's not going to be perfect, but no one will be able to tell unless they are looking VERY CLOSELY or using a microscope). After being told to contact my insurance company myself and open a claim (something Safe Choice used to handle for customers), I completed the process and attempted to follow up. Again, no answer--just more automated texts. Eventually, I received a text message to schedule an appointment and booked service for 8:30 AM on Tuesday, 6/2. The problem? Nobody ever showed up. No phone call, no text, no email, and no explanation. I wasted my entire morning waiting for a technician who never arrived. The company advertises itself as "#1 in Windshields," but based on my experience they might be #1 in not showing up to do the work. This level of communication and customer service is extremely unprofessional. Customers shouldn't have to chase down basic information or sit around waiting for appointments that are never honored. I initially had an appointment with the Covina location, but was contacted by their manager and told that only Sun Valley and Corona could do the recalibration due to the required software. Sherry from Safelite Corona called me about 5 min after I hung up with with the Covina location and was able to get me a next day appointment. I was told the job would take 4-5 hours. At drop off, Brandon took my car in promptly at my scheduled time and again told me it would likely be a long job due to the recalibration. I went for a walk, grabbed lunch and on my way back Brandon was parking my car as I reached the front door. They got the entire job done in 2 hrs!!! There were no hidden charges or upsells. My total actually came in $30 lower than my initial estimate!! 5/5 stars!!!
