My Rivian windshield was cracked from a giant rock on the freeway and needed replacement. Rivian wanted $1,000 more than Safelite to do the work. I initially had an appointment with the Covina location, but was contacted by their manager and told that only Sun Valley and Corona could do the recalibration due to the required software. Sherry from Safelite Corona called me about 5 min after I hung up with with the Covina location and was able to get me a next day appointment. I was told the job would take 4-5 hours. At drop off, Brandon took my car in promptly at my scheduled time and again told me it would likely be a long job due to the recalibration. I went for a walk, grabbed lunch and on my way back Brandon was parking my car as I reached the front door. They got the entire job done in 2 hrs!!! There were no hidden charges or upsells. My total actually came in $30 lower than my initial estimate!! 5/5 stars!!! read more

Quipped to wife: I'm looking for an excuse to break my car window . . . because TOTAL experience was ...STELLAR. Starting with nice, PATIENT, lady at counter. I rushed in with ...??? story, 100% true. Just hour previously, at highway speed up 15, apparently rock from truck(?) smashed left rear window. But...the plot thickens: 'happened 1020AM. 1030AM, wife dropped off at dentist--she, zonked out 'cause of DMD-prescribed Rx--didn't even hear "booomfph" when smash happened--WITH sound of wind whipping through broken glass, wife half asleep (by design & by prescribed pharmaceuticals), I, thinking: WOULDN't it be GREAT if I could get ALL this fixed by end of DMD appointment? Well.......found Safelite close enough to just barely have time to get a quick look-over--WHICH I DID from NICE, efficient, articulate GUY !! Then? appointment for 7AM NEXT MORNING !! with THEY COMING to ME !! NO EXTRA CHARGE !! Great Guy #2 arrives on time, articulate, professional, works quickly, smoothly and ???!!!! VACUUMS OUT THE BROKEN GLASS when COMPLETED which was ALL over the place !!!!???!! ON LINE computer interface ALSO fabulous ..... but?? But PEOPLE were GREAT--1st, 2nd, and 3rd impressions, starting w/lady at counter.....all AAAAA+++++++ My USAA insurance deductible didn't cover but TOTAL SERVICE was REASONABLY PRICED esPECially dealing with such NICE, articulate, fast working PEOPLE plus EFFICIENT online interface AND getting the thorough VACUUMing of the old glass. Sorry they don't handle tinted glass. I'd love to give them the business...replacing 2 widows with a GOOD tint job (I did lousy job of shading long ago) on 2nd car. PS: I'm not related to anyone working here, not my buddies...total strangers before this. Booked the service five days in advance. For all five days, I received no call, no message, no indication whatsoever that there might be a problem. Then, at the exact time they were supposed to show up, they finally called to tell me they couldn't make it today. Apparently, five days wasn't enough time to figure that out -- they needed to wait until the last possible minute. Thanks to their "excellent" communication, I wasted my entire Saturday waiting around and couldn't make any other plans. If you value your time, I'd strongly recommend finding a company that values it too. read more

After verbally abused by store manager Adrian on the phone, unprofessional and calling from his cell phone, not work call. The job was supposed to be done in the same day, took a week to do the job. Unfortunately, the job was done incorrectly. They were on their third piece of glass for my window. Feel free to use the shop at your own risk. We went to get our windshield replaced and it is now the 4th time we have had to come back to get the same problem addressed. The workers and the manager need to be retrained because if I am paying for my windshield to be replaced, I expect it to be in perfect condition with no problems. There is a persistent air bubble that keeps popping up where my car's windshield sensors are. They seem to not know how to do their job since my car is having the same problem over and over. read more

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Safelite - Corona, who came to my home on 01/16/26. I had a very small crack in my windshield -- about the size of a chocolate chip -- and I specifically requested that it be sealed. The repair was done incorrectly!a Not even one day later I was already trying to contact someone because the job was clearly not done right. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told they would not fix it. Their solution was that they could come back out, but would not do the repair on the damage they caused but only to let me apply the money I already paid toward a brand-new windshield. That is completely unacceptable. I paid for a simple repair, not a full replacement, and the damage was made worse due to their poor workmanship. The lack of accountability and customer service was incredibly frustrating. I regret using Safelite and would not recommend this location to anyone. If you value your time, money, and vehicle, look elsewhere. read more

Just walk away. They installed aftermarket windshield on Tesla Y without my knowledge. And when I asked why, they said you should have asked for the OEM glass. The aftermarket glass they installed voids the safety warranty on the glass components and also Tesla glass coverage will not cover for any damages. They stated that they will replace wiper blades for $34.99, but they bill you for $34.99 for each wiper blade for total of $69.98. read more

May 2023 I came to Safelite and had my car window regulator replaced. Safelite Riverside fixed it and May 2025 almost to the date, the window regulator failed again. I called customer service and was told I had a warranty by two different people and was scheduled a warranty appointment but a day before my appointment the rep from Riverside Safelite called and said my warranty was no longer valid past one year due to faulty part only their work is under warranty and essentially I had to purchase the window regulator from Chevrolet and pay for them to reinstall it. That part is more than $300 plus installation. I purchased the part and attempted MULTIPLE times to get in contact with Safelite again to reschedule an appointment and no one would answer or respond to my phone calls. I called at various times of the day. After some time I gave up on Safelite reaching out to me and searched tirelessly to find another business to have the regulator installed. The business I went to Installed the new regulator and informed me that whoever installed the old one didn't put all the bolts in the regulator causing it to fail quicker. I will be filing a formal complaint on Safelite Riverside. read more

I hate my auto insurance but this was one thing they managed to do right for me when my car had a cracked windshield. Was also late due to how terrible the traffic was (typical of the 91 and 15), and mind you I had managed to leave work an hour EARLY for it, but thankfully the guys there were understanding of it. Once it was all settled I waited in their lobby, which I as nice and quiet, but a bit of music or background noise would've been nice, though they actually managed to finish my windshield faster than they had estimated so thankfully I didn't wait for too long. The end result was great, and it was an original manufacturer part so I'm glad my insurance managed to have this for a fraction of the price the dealer wanted to charge me with. read more

Super unprofessional behavior from these technicians and supervisors. Scheduled appointment two days in advance for between 1-5 pm. On day of scheduled appointment, technician called with an approximate ETA of 1:23. At 1:13, technician called informing me I had been bumped by his supand the new ETA would be around 2:30. After explaining this was unprofessional, the technician called back at 1:20 stating he would beheading to me first instead of bumping me later. He finally arrived around 2:10 and completed at 2:35. The service was completely adequately, but the supervisor scheduling appointments while technician is en route to another appointment was beyond unprofessional. I would not recommend using this company if you value your time during the day. read more

I made an online appointment and came in for a front passenger window replacement after it had been shattered. I was charged a much better price than other places I had checked out which is always great. Sherry was lovely and i got a call saying my car was done 4 hours before i expected! Be aware even if you have the smallest crack in a windshield they charge you to change your wiper blades even if you didn't want that and were not told that's what they are doing. Also your insurance will not cover that. I didn't notice it until I got my receipt. It was never discussed. Also on the online quote I declined wiper replacement. Mine were already new. Now I'm out an additional $75. Last time I go there. read more

First appointment they ordered the wrong glass and now I am pretty sure they charged me and didn't change the windshield wipers or put a janky set on. The worst experience I've had. Terrible customer service. Tech installed windshield poorly and when it rained 2 weeks later the interior seats were soaked with water. After showing me where the mistake was made, Nathan a tech at the shop refused to fix their mistake saying warranty is voided even though it was poorly installed. Blows my mind how they represent a large company like this. I will be complaining to corporate office hopefully something gets done all though I doubt it. Very disappointed with safelite I had used them once before with no issues this time it has turned into a complete nightmare. Let me start from the beginning like other users started paid for wiper blades the date of installation the tech advises they didn't have them so issued a credit whatever not a big deal I can deal with that just that I'd throw that in as well. Now on to the bigger problems. Apparently they didn't install the windshield or do the calibration correctly. For the last week and 1/2 the car driver assistance keeps shutting down so the blind spot indicators and collision detection system keep malfunctioning. So I call them and set up another appointment here is where it gets even worse I start inspecting the work they did and noticed the molding in the interior is budging out and is wavy like it's not installed correctly. So I start looking on the exterior and notice that they scratched my vehicle in a spot that they could have only done. I had washed the car that morning and dried it myself before they came to install so I know that it wasn't there. It's in between the top of the hood and the fender oddly enough right where they were working. They were sending someone out from the warranty dept tomorrow morning after I discovered the crap job and damage I called and told them not to send the same tech out and that I wanted to speak to a manger. I was advised I had to call the warranty department in the morning as they were closed. Aghhh what a nightmare and complete waste of time. I so regret using them this time. Since Wawanesa uses them for glass coverage I will be calling them to file a complaint as well. Be warned of this place consider other options!! 5/23/2024 update ***The manger Angel is a rude as hell. Very dismissive and hostile like I'm lying to him about the damage they did. He took a look at it and said that it was okay and hadn't spread but to keep an eye on it and to let them know if it does get bigger.
