This company is absolutely amazing. Orett is just superior at what he does from the business aspect of things. I messaged their company on their website late in the evening after hours and he called me the very next morning to begin working with me. I picked from several designs and he walked me through all my options and add ons. Fantastic! He came by the house to pick up my down payment which helped because I was short on time. Then, A gentleman came out to measure the slope of my steps (I didn't even know that was a thing) to make sure it was a perfect fit. He even sent me pictures to show me they were actively working on painting the railing, which matched my house perfectly. Talk about excited! I am impressed. There are other companies out there but if you're looking for professionalism, follow through and follow up...Guardian Gates is thee one. First off, I'm Chinese and we don't ever want to over pay for anything. But I rather pay a reasonable price for quality work than to get a good price but a shitty job / experience. Too many asian shops cut corners nowaday and you end up paying more in the long run. I originally got a quote and started to work with Venezia Iron Works. After numerous e-mails and phone calls they gave excuse after excuses why they didn't show up. Then I got Guardian gate's recommendation from a neighbor next block and they gave a resonable estimate. We exchanged a few emails on style, cost, etc... and they gave me a very reasonable price. Then everthing went UP hill from here. Being in NYC, you are always skeptical of contractors. I have gotten my share of contractors taking deposit, no show, don't return calls.... goes on and on. Not these guys, they show up exactly as they said they would. Orett Young (extremely friendly) calls and kept me up to date on progress, sketches of gates, etc... Orett told me my work will get done before Christmas and it did. Even during two brutally cold days in NYC 12/19/2019 and 12/20/2019 they are here doing the install. There was a minor mixed up on the first day and they have to adjust it at the shop. I wasn't sure if they can come back before Christmas but I was willing to wait as long as they don't cut corners on the adjustments. They came back next day and installed it as promised. The work was clean and professional. I usually don't give referrals to friends as I don't want to ruin any friendship, but I can honestly say I'm comfortable recommending these guys. I don't have any experience if they will come back if something needs to be adjusted or fix down the road. But I have more confident Guardian gates would than any other that I have worked with. read more

I have used this company two years ago and had a good experience with them, but recently I needed a repair to my gate attached to my railings that the company installed 2 years ago. The owner wanted to charge me $125.00 service call and I was disappointed and utterly refused my inches on the hinge broke way from my gate which made my gate loop sided and uneven unable to open and close properly and this was a result of sloopy, in a rush welding work, I happen to find someone else and they fixed my propblem for far less and I wil be using them for future work. I can say this to this company STAND BY YOUR WORK it pays to do so for future business. read more

I called Tony (OWNER) and let him know about getting new hand rails. My new hand rails are great and the installation was plated so as not to drill into the granite steps.
