However, all the one-of-a-kind tops, skirts, scarves, dresses and purses from all over the world are no longer available. What a disappointment! I was informed that the store was purchased by new owners in January, 2019. There's the problem. I don't understand why new owners of ANY established store in Santa Fe get rid of the type of merchandise that defines Santa Fe, and, instead, bring in boring, overpriced fashions that mirror what older women wear in Scottsdale or West Palm Beach. You can chalk this up to "another one bites the dust."

Was told to come back when owner was at store so she could "check over" pair with holes. Called back twice requesting to be called when owner present. The owners of Crazy Fox have been test marketing their own high-end clothing out of China from…read moremanufacturers who produce for name brand lables throughout the United States. The majority of the US textile industry went to China. One of the new owners is originally from China who understands the market decided to bring in some high quality garments and assessories that are not mass produced. The problem is the care instructions on these garmets are not in English. Not that everything in the store is from China ether. This only amounts to a small percentage of their overall inventory. Margaret O'Leary. Paper Label, pink wheels and indigenous are still carried along with locally designed clothing and other well-known lables. It's the idea that China produced clothing is somehow both inferior and cheap in quality which is far from being true. With everything there's good and bad. In the case of Crazy Fox they have beautiful silks, Cashmeres and wools from China. If sold under American lables we are accustomed too seeing would cost three times what they have things priced for and their clothing is manufactured in China too. Crazy Fox will eventually have their own labels before long to clear up any confusion with what they are selling. As for the care instructions those are easily translated for the buyers by the associates who are knowledgeable with all the different materials used in making the garments. Don't judge to quickly because they have beautiful and unique items not found anywhere else.
