Good food, atmosphere and service. They also make fresh handmade bagels and have ice cream and milk shakes. Seating indoors and outdoors with games to play outside for kids and/or adults. Coke products and a bar inside. Cute set up. I'd recommend this place for pizza in the area.

Stopped in Walsenburg this past weekend to check out Gub Gub's. The Chile Burger pizza was delicious as was the garlic cheese bread. Definitely a great pizza worth having again and a menu with more intriguing options. It is a counter-service restaurant so no actual waiter or waitress but the staff is friendly and efficient. When we did need anything (to-go box) it was easy to ask for help and even with no wait staff we were checked on twice. The decor is very cool with the old gas station theme and a retro vibe. I do not get to Walsenburg often but may have to make a trip over just to stop by from time to time.

Always best pizza experience and the salad is insane! Our pups are always taken care of too! Best ever!

Really enjoyed the aesthetic and retro vibes of this place! Service was great. We got the supreme pizza which was tasty and the strawberry shortcake sundae was yummy too!

If you are rushing to the mountains or heading back home, don't miss this place in Walsenberg, CO--great pizza with a variety of beverages and Ice cream for dessert. We had the Rancher Roundup pizza. The service was simple, with no real above-and-beyond effort, but that was what was needed for this type of restaurant. The corner retrofitted gas station adds nostalgia to the great food. There is outside or inside dining.

Deliciously thin and crispy pizza. The Everything Gubberpuffs were tasty too and the leftovers were perfect for snacking later. Nice how they repurposed what seemed like an old car repair shop/garage, it's a cool aesthetic!

Great location in Walsenburg. The restaurant is beautifully curated. The owners really leaned into the 50s garage decor but it's done so well you feel like you've stepped into a magazine. The smell of fresh dough hits you before you even open the door. Once inside you're greeted by a smiling face from a welcoming counter attendant. So rare now days to have the best of all three, food, service and ambiance. Chatted with the owners after our meal. Very sweet local couple. This place does not disappoint. If you're trying to decide between this or KFC. Do your self a flavor and eat something delicious from Gub Gub's.

Situated in an old gas station, you enter the door where the office once was. Menu is posted above. You order then move to the dining room and order your beverage. The tap list is a little thin but they have a moderate selection of canned beers. Employees were very polite. We had a supreme pizza and it was pretty good. While waiting for the pizza we looked at all the gas station related objects on the walls. The lights over the bar area were in old oil cans. Very cool!

This place is adorable. Stopped by here on our way from Texas to Denver and couldn't have picked a better pit stop. Super friendly, attentive staff make ordering easy and they're quick to help with any request. Started with the gubberpuffs, which were slathered in delicious garlic butter and served with a tasty side of marinara. Opted for the supreme pizza, subbing in jalapeños for the olives, and it was equally delicious. The place itself is clearly an old gas station of garage and is decked out with all sorts of awesome knickknacks. The huge, pet friendly, patio has tons of seating and the cornhole boards are an extra nice touch. 10/10 would be back!!!

Ran to my phone to write this review immediately. We were in town looking for land to eventually move to this beautiful little town. We stopped at Gub Gubs for a little dinner. Not only was the food delicious, the atmosphere was so fun. Unfortunately, we had our two very small children with us and a major thunderstorm was coming in, the owner's daughter graciously said she would have her father deliver our pizzas to our little hotel room down the street. This man brought our pizzas in a TORRENTIAL downpour. That level of customer service is just not found outside of a town like this, a town like the one I grew up in, and I missed that kindness. Since they opened in a new location, we decided to give them a try and see what changed. The crust is a little thicker. Toppings were adequate and the veggies were fresh. But... there was virtually NO sauce. Just a little bit around the edges. Since the sauce makes or breaks the pizza, this is a non-starter for us. And the wait... 43 minutes! Despite only 4 tables inside and 2 outside being used, a handful of carryout orders and 9-10 staff working, it was still a painfully long wait. The family seated two tables from us waited nearly an hour! At $24.00 plus tip for a 14" supreme, and a 43 minute wait, you'd better have lots of time and money. The only way you can pull off the old gas station feel is if you have great food. (Notably, the best bbq restaurant in Kansas City) It's a small town and they are the only game in town for pizza, so they will do ok but our money will be spent elsewhere. read more

We went searching for a fun ice cream spot, and found it! Gub Gub's is in the Mercantile building, which makes for a neat atmosphere. There's five 4-place tables and a small bench to sit at while you enjoy your treats! It's not easy to decide what to get, but we ordered four different things and were happy with each one. Some of the nice small touches include quality add-ons like crushed peanuts or sliced almonds, FRESH whipped cream and beautiful, plump cherries! Luckily found this gem on the drive home from the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Was able to call in an order and quickly pick it up. Staff was super friendly. Gub gub's is a cute little restaurant in the center of Blanding. We ordered the Greek salad and it was Excellent! The greens were so fresh and it was filled with olives, tomatoes, peppers and Feta cheese. We enjoyed the Rabbit food pizza enormously. Thomas makes every single pizza to perfection. This is the best pizza for miles. My son tried the vegan pizza a few months ago and now drives from Denver to stop at Gub gubs! We watched Helena make waffle cones fresh. My wife loves the garlic Parmesan wings. The family that runs place really have it together. We have visited more than a half dozen times now.... I mean, elote is something magic-the pop of the lime, the crunch of the corn, the creaminess of the queso fresco and the slight heat from the red pepper paired with the creaminess of the mayo, in a cream cheese?! Could they do it? YES! They did! This cream cheese was absolutely everything that a perfect elote should be but on a chewy, crunchy, deliciously made bagel! The plain Blane is a buttered egg bagel piled high with bacon, fried egg and cheddar. We decided on this one to allow for us to taste the bagel itself without the added flavor of cream cheese. The cheese was melty, the bacon was plenty and this was another home run for us. The last but not least was the bacon cheddar cream cheese which we absolutely loved. Pepperoni pizza slice was comparable to frozen. Sam's Club Cafe pizza is dramatically better at half the price. There were two customers during my visit. Server got the orders wrong and my slice to the other guy. I won't be going back. Mehh. read more
