I was relieved to see there was no line outside because they usually have a long wait time. We walked in and had someone help us within 2 minutes, so they were pretty nice and attentive. The store is pretty big, and they had a nice selection of items. We were looking at the jewelry, and the person helping us was really fast when looking up information about item availability and getting different sizes for the ring we ended up buying. He was very nice, and was even making conversation with us about a trip we have coming up because he's going there too. He definitely made the experience better since sometimes the staff at luxury stores are pretty rude. read more

Ok, some people leaving reviews here are hilarious. They sound really entitled - or like they've never bought anything "nice" before. You're being dramatic because you want to be a diva - ain't nobody asked you who your sales associate in some other city is or why you look unkempt going to the mall. I came here to exchange a reversible belt I had bought for my dad in Milan for a different size. During the Christmas holidays. Needless to say, I waited a long time despite being there for one task - but that's how it goes. And Cynthia was kind and patient in exchanging it through the mayhem that was going on in that store, even though she wasn't going to be making a new sale. I was about to walk out the store happy when I remembered that my dad had wanted the GGs on the brown side and not the black side. So... I went back to Cynthia - and she was, again, nothing but kind and patient. The one I had wanted wasn't in the store, so she ordered it for me to be shipped to my parents' office. I walked out feeling both grateful and appreciated. Did it take an hour? Yes. Were the other staff also nice? Some were legitimately cold, but I seem to remember the name Kevin for the charming, friendly associate. Did I get to look at pretty things and pick out the next ring and brooch I want? Yes. So be kind, be patient, and enjoy the process. Terrible customer service, employees are RUDE. I stood in the sun for 30 mins waiting for the store to open hoping I could make an exchange before going out of town. The guy told me I couldn't enter because my temp was 99 . They have a ten day exchange window and I wasn't going to have another chance to do it. I asked if I could go cool off and come back he told me no . I even had my negative test results handy and he didn't care (I work in healthcare we are tested weekly ) I tested again that same day and was negative (of course) I will never return to this store and wouldn't recommend anyone visit here. read more

I have been here a few times and have bought things for my wife. Of all the Gucci locations that I have been to - this one is my least favorite. On my last visit, they had a velvet rope outside the location. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted before I arrived...so you wait while people are in there just looking around. I will add, it did not look busy - I'm thinking they were under-staffed. After I entered, I walked to the counter -- waiting for someone to assist me. As I sat there, they let more people in. I purchased 2 black belts but they didn't have one at the store. They ordered it for me to pickup at the store later. When I went to get it was all wrapped up very nicely in a box so I didn't open it. When I opened it a week later it was the wrong belt. I brought it back to the store for them to exchange for the right one. They have to reorder it again and this was on 2/23/21. I called them a couple of times to see why it taking so long and they said it was back order. I asked if they can give me a refund if they don't have the belt in stock, they said no. Every time I call customer service they said someone from Gucci will contact me and this was months ago. I waited over 2 months and still no belt, no update, no call and no refund. So my first time coming here in 2017 was an absolute disaster. I was so turned off by the lack of good customer service that I left and went to Saks (which was impeccable, btw). I decided to try them out again because I was in the market for a bag in the marmont collection. They were out of stock at Saks so I tired Gucci yet again. I was shocked at how the customer service had improved! Maybe because it was Saturday and they had more representatives on the floor? Anyway, Sandra was my rep and she offered excellent service! I knew exactly what I wanted and two reps were helping me. One checked the stock of the bag while the other offered me a drink. It was such a smooth process that I left and came back the same day and exchanged my bag for a more expensive one (because I decided on a bigger size). My 4 stars are based on the fact that this store doesn't answer their phone which they openly admit to never doing. Luckily I was able to contact Sandra on her personal cell and she had the replacement bag ready for me when I arrived back at the store! I've always had a good experience shopping at Gucci, whether it be overseas or here domestically in the US. The one thing I really like is there is no pressure. I got to browse comfortably while my temptations ate away at my wallet haha! Once I found a couple pairs, I was met with awesome assistance. They brought several size out to make sure it was a snug fit, they run a little larger than usual. I normally wear a size 10 & went with a 9 when it was all said & done. I just want to let y'all know that I ordered something and FedX the company you work with to deliver things is SO TERRIBLE. I needed my package for a birthday tomorrow and they tried 3 times to deliver it when I was AT WORK and they now said they are sending it back to you and I won't get my money back for another 15 days. First of all y'all need to work with a company that delivers packages not during work hours. EVERYONE WORKS. I tried calling fedex to tell them I won't be home and they were very rude and said well there's nothing we can do. Now I have to wait to get my money back and can't even buy my husband another gift because it was so expansive I have to wait for the money to come back. However, it doesn't mean all is perfect in the world once you have that soft Gucci leather in your hands. Well, it almost is. My sister and I made a purchase recently that needed to be sent to one of the biggest fashion capitals. New York City. I could've easily called the NYC Gucci and could have made a purchase over the phone. Maybe I would've had smoother business with them but I opted for the Houston location. I was there on a Friday, picked out a gift and paid for FedEx Overnight shipping to be there on Saturday. At 3pm, the woman helping me said that we just barely made the cut-off time for "Overnight" delivery, but assured me that the package made it to the FedEx truck and will be delivered the next day at either 8am or 1pm. She said that if I would like to track my package, I could call the store. It's policy NOT to give the tracking number out (????). Really, you're not giving me a tracking number for MY purchase? Umm alright, lady. This was a birthday gift (even though his birthday wasn't until Monday). I waited patiently for a phone call saying that the gift was received but I never got a call. I thought maybe he hadn't been home and his door man had the package up front in the lobby. My gut feeling knew better. I looked all over my receipt for a tracking number but couldn't find it. Then I remembered about the outrageous policy. I called Gucci Houston to follow up on the status of the delivery and to obtain my tracking number. The sales woman that helped me wasn't there during this call. After a very long time on the phone, the gentleman over the phone told me that it was on the truck. Nope, it was NOT on that truck and it was NOT delivered on Saturday. At. All. On Monday morning, I called the store once again. I spoke with the sales woman who helped me initially. Where IS MY PACKAGE? Again, after a few minutes, she said it was on the truck, out for delivery. "FINE." I was beyond angry and there was no point in me yelling over the phone. She didn't offer my extra overnight delivery charge back, there was no apology at all. Absolutely nothing. I'm pretty sure they have a general manager that I'll have to speak to. I may have been more understanding if she explained what happened, apologized or refunded the delivery charge. Nothing was done. So all in all, this is a customer service issue. Boo on y'all, Houston location. Seriously, booo. Why the 2 stars? I'm being fair and I'm giving the staff credit for being calm. The older bald man in his 30/40s, I think he's the manager but he is the worse person and needs to be taught hospitality and how to treat customers. I loved my shopping experience here at this Gucci! Loved it so much I came back twice in the same weekend! I first bought a belt and the gentleman that helped me was so kind and offered up wonderful suggestions. I then looked at one of the mini bags and he showed me three useful ways of using/wearing it. I ended up just purchasing the belt that day, however when I came back the next day I ended up buying the bag he showed me because I couldn't stop thinking about how I could wear it around my waist as a fourth option! So clever! I came back Sunday and purchased the mini purse from another very nice gentleman since the original salesman was gone for the day. Three stars - five for the shoes, one for the service (service should be held to a higher standard here). I don't like bashing places, so I will simply state the facts. I like Gucci loafers - I have several pairs as they simply are the best bang for my buck. I had an itch for a nice new pair after deciding to retire my 15 year old brown loafers to weekend duties. First off - brown loafers traditionally have the brass "bit". Why would Gucci only offer them with the silver bit - it sounds petty, but is it me, the Houston store or Gucci worldwide? Regardless - more on this later. I asked to see a brown loafer. The salesperson came back with this non-traditional lighter brown loafer with this weird dark toe. I said absolutely not and asked for a brown loafer - he rolled his eyes and went looking (as there was not a pair on the shelf - weird?). He said this is a traditional look - I simply said, "no it isn't" and that I have never, in all my years seen this style and would like to see brown loafers. He came back after five or so minutes and showed me the brown loafer he had to "search" for. Unfortunately it was not in my size - what! I have a pretty standard foot size! I agreed to wait on a new pair being sent in - Friday they said (it was Monday). I said no problem - would it have the brass or silver bit? He said "silver", but I can spend $100-ish to have them swapped out - I was taken so off guard I almost fell over! I understand it is Gucci and there is a little fun and expected snobbiness, but come on man, insulting me for stating that I am a "traditionalist" and mocking me for not moving with the times. I almost walked out, but said screw it - I'm taking the shoes home, not him. Now I am all ready to wait for my new shoes - when Friday rolled around, I fought through traffic to get into The Galleria. Thankfully I had to pick something up at Brooks Brother's as well - two birds. I whip in and out of Brooks Brother's and head over to Gucci, where I stand and wait and wait and wait. Finally the manager comes over - I tell him I am here to pick up my shoes and give him my receipt - he was very nice and headed to the back to find them. Ten+ minutes later he comes back out and very nicely says that he can't find them. He went on to say he could not reach the original sales associate. Wonderful! I said I would wait a couple more minutes while he continues to try and reach him. Finally I said that I needed to go - the manager was very understanding and said he would send the shoes to my home via UPS. Great! I fill out the shipping information, etc. and head out. As I am driving home, I received a call - the manager had forgotten to get my customer ID information or something. I give him the information and drive home expecting my shoes the next day. The next day came and went - all I thought was WTF! How much did I spend on these shoes and what is up with the piss-poor customer service! The following day I call Gucci - I call them, not vice versa. I get in touch with the manager - he said that they had not sent the shoes as he originally stated; he thought I was going to come back to The Galleria AGAIN! I told him "absolutely not" and that I was expecting them to be on my doorstep. "Oh - we'll send them out today". OK, here we go again. The next day came and no shoes. That evening I picked up the phone to call them AGAIN. The manager was not in, but I was able to speak with a nice salesperson who let me know they missed the last UPS pick-up the night before and I should be receiving the shoes tomorrow. All I thought was "if these shoes show up after all this effort with the wrong bit - I am going to flip out". Well, they showed up and everything was fine - except for my patience. On the positive, although it should be standard, they did not charge me the extra $100 to swap the bits. Gucci's are Gucci's, but I don't think I will shop at the Houston store again. The guy said someone would be with me shortly. 15-20 min passed of sitting there watching other people get checked out by the employees as well as them helping other customers who walked in after me. Went into Gucci today to get the wife a handbag for her Bday coming up. Now I have shopped here many times over the years and never had the ability to write a review but I think they deserve one. We all know the quality of the Gucci brand itself but what I like best at The Galleria store is the people that work there. I have always found them to be friendly and helpful...no matter if Im spending a small fortune on a handbag or suit or just simply looking around at the new stock. Hmmm the last time I was here which was about 2 or 3 years ago, I thought the service was great. The only time I had to wait long was when they were wrapping my purchase. All the sales associates I've encountered here were very helpful, answered all my questions, brought out so many different items for me (I can be annoyingly picky about items I select that I even drive myself crazy sometimes but they were very patient), even when I had to make an exchange they were very understanding and made the process so easy. I visited the new location in the galleria mall. Before I go to the mall I always know what I want. I don't need to look around I know what's in the store. I walked in. No one greeted me. Smh. I walked up to the security guard and asked did they have any agents here. He started laughing and pointed to three of them laughing and talking by the door. The sales associate I had was great. I knew exactly the style of wallet I wanted, he pulled every color and fabric it came in and I made a choice..5 minutes and done. What was disappointing was another sales associate told one of his co-workers to "hustle" while he was ringing someone up because that S.A's customer was in a hurry. I suppose it's our rushed culture we live in but I figured if you are in that much of a hurry you shouldn't have came in because your rushed attitude resulted in that worker being rude to his co-worker. I ultimately told that S.A who was spoke to so rudely I was sorry that happened to him and wished him a good day and sadly he acted as if that was a common occurrence. Customer service is non existent in this store. I was not greeted by anyone as i walked in. The person i had to search for to get a size for me seemed beyond annoyed. Nor did he greet me as i got his attention. I needed to try on a shoe to get my correct size because they were going to be bought as a gift for me. I shared this with the sales man and he had an immediate look of disgust in his face. He snatched the shoe from me and didn't bother to look my way again.
