I have shopped at this location a few times. They carry older stock when it comes to clothing and some outlet exclusive pieces for bags and belts as well as some older stock. Service can be a little bit different depending on what sales rep you get. If you go ask for Gabriella she is an amazing sales rep and truthfully gives you the 'Gucci' shopping experience. She always makes sure you are well tended to and goes out of the way for her customers. read more

Terrible customer service! I was looking to buy a pair of shoes and stood there looking for a sales associate to help me. There were four associates near by, all of them either talking to each other or on their phones. I walked up to an associate who was on her phone to help. When I showed her the shoes I wanted to to try on, she immediately stated my size wasn't available and walked off with NO attempt to show me what they do have or allow me to ask for my size in another shoe I was interested in. I will not spend my money in a place that isn't interested in customer service and will gladly take it elsewhere! read more

I received a Gucci watch, and tried to have it sized at the store, since it was purchased there. A salesgirl told me it would take 20 minutes, so I waited. After an hour, I had to leave, and the manager explained that he was the only person who knew how to do it at the store, but it was extremely difficult, and he was having trouble with it. He was kind enough to offer to let me return the watch, or he could hang on to it and try to finish it, I could bring it back some other time, or have it altered elsewhere and send him the bill. However, he also mentioned that he really should have been out on the floor making sales instead of dealing with the watch, which I disagree with, if there's nobody else at the Gucci store who can adjust a Gucci watch. I did bring the watch back on a later day, and he said he didn't want to work on it, and I should bring it elsewhere. So: I would urge you to make them size the watch before you buy it so that they have some incentive to help you, or be prepared to go elsewhere for service after your purchase. read more

Great store but the staff here are the worse I have ever had to deal with. Several times I have been in this store and the only thing I have been able to buy so far is a keychain. I was here a few months ago to buy a watch and I was told where else I could go to buy the same watch. I did and bought it for $200 less. Today was there to buy a new handbag for my wife. After about 30 minutes I had to go and find somebody to help me. They all to busy talking and having a laugh. One of the guys there hands me the bag to look at. While I'm checking it out another member of staff comes by me and asked if I needed any assistance. The guy that handed me the bag was leaning against another counter staring into space and replys "no he is just looking". It was an $1100 handbag I was looking at buying and I have no idea how much the matching wallet was going to cost. Instead I put the bag down and left the store. I did buy a bag and matching wallet somewhere else. Basically go here to have a look at what you want to buy then go somewhere else to make the purchase. The staff here must be on a great hourly pay cause none of them seem to want to sell anything at all. read more

I give this place 2 stars. I should really give 1. I just called to place an order. The person who picked up the phone didn't have a clue about what I saying. I said the style, how much it was, and in detail how it looked. He had no clue. I asked for the store's email to send a picture. He was rude and when I spelled out the email to double check it, he chuckles at me and says "No". Then spells it out slowly. Gucci San Marcos, you need to train your sale associates better in customer service. The associate I just spoke to needs to work on his knowledge of product and answering on the phone. By the looks of it, I am not the only one who feels that. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is Casey is sweet heart. And she really cares about her customers. read more

The male who answered the phone on 6/15/19 was EXTREMELY unhelpful and wouldn't even answer the most simple questions because another associate (who I received a bulk email from that I don't even know) had to be the one who answered any of my questions. Very pleasant shopping experience. Sales lady was very helpful and knowledgable. I wanted to pick up something for myself and my mother-in-law, our sales rep modeled some of the purses so I can take photos to send to my mother-in-law so she could pick the one she liked. Sydney worked with my husband to select a belt as a birthday surprise for me. This was all done by text and phone since we are in Dallas. She went above and beyond helping him by taking measurements of belts in the store, and well as sending numerous photos. Together, they selected the perfect belt in the correct size! My fiancé and I had the worst customer service experience here this morning. We came into the store early morning to pick out some sunglasses. The gentleman that was helping us was instantly very rude and distasteful. I asked him whether they could adjust the sunglasses for a better fit, a request that is standardly performed at every store that sells sunglasses. He looked at me dumbfounded, as if he never heard that question, before proceeding to make a big deal out of it. He was agitated when I told him they were too tight for me to comfortably wear and did not understand (or care to understand) when I suggested losing the screws. His response was very kurt, explaining in a matter of fact tone that all he could do was "warm them" for me to naturally adjust to the shape of my head (????) We were naturally very confused by his response. He then proceeded to stare at us and impatiently asked whether I still want the sunglasses at all. I told him that I did still want the glasses, but would like to talk to someone else, as his mannerism was off putting. He silently glared at me as I waited in line for the next staff to help me. My next staff was kind and apologized for the inconvenience, and even directed me to a store that could adjust it (Which I appreciated and was happy to hear). However, my original staff remained there, still glaring, and scoffed while mentioning that nobody has ever made a request to have their sunglasses adjusted at this store before. The behavior and actions of this particular staff left a bad taste in my mouth and my fiancé and I walked out of the store disgusted. I have never expected a store that is known for luxury to have such subpar customer service (and not understand the basic parts of the items which they are trying to sell). We will not be coming to this Gucci outlet again. read more

Was shopping today at this location looking for Christmas gifts. I walked in and wasn't greeted even though there was someone at the door. Was standing at the men's wallet cases and there was an associate helping another customer. Another associate walked by and then left. I waited for someone for over 15 minutes to help me with the wallets, not to mention that I had planned to purchase more items. When I looked around I notice there were associates standing around talking who saw me standing there but never helped. As I walked out they watched me leave and not a word. I have to say that the negative reviews are quite interesting and at times hard to believe. I've been visiting this store consistently for the last 3 or so years. My best friend shopped with a consult there and she always was pleasant, helpful, and would even text her with pictures of new merchandise or something in particular she may have been looking for. I finally decided to make some purchases of my own and found that I also received the same amazing customer service. Helpful but not overbearing, considerate, and patient. I too have been able to contact the consultant with questions, etc through text message and she always answers back. However the thing that impressed me the most was that all the times (Years actually) I would browse and never buy? I was still treated just as graciously as I am now. Lot's of great merchandise although it gets run through quickly as people travel from all over. I suggest interacting with a consultant and exchanging information so they can let you know when the extra markdowns occur;) My consultant is Ahg and she is wonderful!
