Guffo cafe offer very good coffee and tea items and middle eastern inspired baking goods. I have visited here several times and always liked their matcha item. This time, I tried Coconuts peach matcha(iced). Barista poured matcha into the clear coconut peach drink. It was beautiful presentation. Too bad, I couldn't take video. Drink had strong matcha flavor, I can tell they used generous amount. I really liked their Matcha drink. Not too sweet. I will revisit to get another item, can't wait

We came here early. The coffee and pastries were delicious. We're satisfied. The shop is small and easy to fill up.

This is such a cozy and homey cafe downtown. It's kind of a hidden gem. Their decaf oat latte is the best I've had (I liked it better than Starbucks, JJ, Parallel 49, and Pallet). The tables are cute and spread out enough even though it's a small space. The staff was friendly and warm. My friend and I sat and chatted for a while and felt very comfortable there. I would go again. What a lovely place!

I came here, which was close to my place of stay and had good reviews. The warm atmosphere and kind response made me feel comfortable. I asked the staff a lot of questions and ordered Canadian Maple Latte and Ham and cheese egg croissant. I liked the maple syrup latte because it wasn't too sweet. And most of all, I love the Guffo Mug Cup!!!Around 9 am, the store was full of people. I hope you all have a good morning.

I tried Spanish latte for the first time from my friend's recommendation. Strong. I like it. The ham croissant was ok.

walking around downtown, i did a quick google search for matcha lattes near me and guffo cafe came up. i'd never heard of it before, so curiosity won and i made my way over to 331 howe to check it out. the café is tucked close to the waterfront station, great location for cruise ship tourists, and a convenient stop if you're wandering the area or working nearby. inside, the vibe is casual, anchored by a long communal table, the kind of setup that makes it easy for solo guests to tuck in with a book or laptop, while still leaving space for small groups to gather. it feels functional yet warm, a spot that works equally well for a quick grab and go or a slower afternoon break. i ordered the iced matcha london fog latte with oat milk, which immediately caught my eye as something a little different. the drink arrived pale green with a light froth on top. flavour wise, it was a thoughtful pairing: grassy matcha layered with the floral, bergamot undertone of a london fog. the oat milk rounded it all out, smoothing the sharper edges and giving it a velvety body without heaviness. refreshing, mellow, and layered, it felt like a bridge between the bright energy of matcha and the cozy softness of earl grey tea. the barista was genuinely friendly, welcoming in a way that made the small space feel approachable rather than institutional. it's those little touches that often tip a visit from ordinary to memorable. beyond drinks, they also offer breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and even local art for sale. there's a canadian flag hung proudly above the front entrance and a full length mirror inside, a fun, practical detail for those last minute outfit checks. overall, guffo cafe feels like one of those downtown gems you stumble across when you least expect it. low key, convenient, and offering drinks that step just a little outside the ordinary, it's worth a stop if you're in the area, especially if you're in the mood for something that blends the familiar with the unexpected.

this is the kind of place i'd be a regular at if i were a local. wifi, great drinks, insane pastry choices, nice location (close by to public transit routes) and easily walkable if you're in the vicinity of canada place. friendly service and some seating at either small cafe tables or shared large wooden table at entrance. they have an electronic key hanging on a hook near where orders are placed to use to access bathroom down the hall from the back of the shop. what was not to love?

It's highly rated and it's close to waterfront Skytrain station. My friend got a flat white and I tried a cup of mango matcha oat latte. Both beverages were good. The mango flavoured matcha oat latte tasted very unique. The paper cups had a very unique design. They were very cute. Customer service was good. It's a cafe or coffee shop with pastries like others. The space has some high tables and chairs. It was kind packed but totally understood that it is in a downtown location. The bigger it is the higher lease it is. I would recommend others to try this coffee shop if they are in downtown/Canada Place or close to Waterfront Skytrain station.

A delicious way to start my day of travel and end a weekend of really good eats! Ordered an Americano misto that was piping hot and smooth. The also had the traditional espresso drinks, teas, iced, and fruity non-caff options. Prices topped out at $8 for the largest sizes. They had a small selection of pastries -- croissants in the normal shape and other fun ones that were square (cream-filled) or spiral (Nutella) and dipped in chocolate and chopped pistachio. Loved the updated old world charm and my big tasty coffee served up in a cute, kitschy mug. Convenient to transit.

Needed a quick breakfast to go and this place was nearby. Clean location, friendly staff, and a wide variety of coffee beverages to choose from. We got a few breakfast sandwiches, and a slice of banana bread. We had to wait while they heated up the ready made sandwiches. No changes can be made to the sandwiches since they were premade, and there was no offer to make a fresh one (I wanted to omit It was nice they gave us a complimentary oatmeal cookie for the wait. The food was decent.

Good cafe. We've been here in 1st Jan 2025. Lot of cafes were still closed and this one made our day with tasty 12oz latte with cinnamon.

Fantastic drinks and food! I was in the area for the cruise terminal and stopped in for a quick breakfast. I was blown away by how good the drinks were and the ham and cheese croissant was perfectly flaky. They had a sample of their tropical cold brew tea which was so good I bought one to go so I could drink it while I was in line. I highly recommend this place for fast service and delicious breakfast

The coffee here was pretty decent, but pastry was quite pricy (6 bucks for a crossiant?).

I'm a sucker for a good multi-roaster cafe, and Revolver is a fantastic one. They serve up beans from all over, and they do it right, thanks to staff with eyes (and noses) for detail. Barista Soho and I chatted about NYC[1], and he told me La Cabra has a bakery there[2]. Savored a lovely pourover from Toronto[3], served hot. That very same day, I returned and had a decaf espresso that slapped[4]. Ample seating. A fair bit of natural light somehow makes it into the shop. Good for a date, coworking (especially in their next door "Archive" space), catching up with friends AND discovering coffee from around the world. Find this shop in Gastown, a short walk from the SeaBus station. [1] Yes, his name was Soho. Not SoHo. [2] Saved for my next trip to the East Village. [3] Saw Dak on the menu, but I'll be in Amsterdam sooner rather than later... [4] No idea what it was. Besides, the menu'll change before I find out[5]. [5] I love footnotes!

Revolver is what I'd consider a multi-roaster shop with a focus on the coffee first. The bar is made up of high quality small batch grinders, perfect for grinding fresh for each cup, and a long line of pour over setups to give each cup the attention it deserves. Behind the bar you can see an Aiden by Fellows for quick batch brewing quality beans to the standards of the specialty coffee association or quick recipe testing. The menu is predominantly descriptions of the coffees they're currently brewing with a few classic and simple coffee preparations like a latte and a cortado, but nothing too involved because they focus on the coffee itself. I really liked how they separated the coffees by flavor profile so you could key in on the type of beans and roast you prefer. They offered several natural, honey, and anerobic options, which made me happy. My friend isn't a coffee geek like I am, so it was fun to see which he gravitated to and enjoy that alongside my choice, which was totally opposite. The barista side of the shop is long and narrow, with the bar predominating, but there's a great sitting area right next door that I didn't even notice until we were leaving. I'd hoped to buy a bag of beans to take with me but none of the ones we tried were available. Good sign I suppose, but sad for me. Next time!

We ordered the following: Tiramisu Latte Caprese Bite London Fog Apple Cookie Cherry Matcha Tonic Tiramisu Sea Salt Caramel Gelato The Cherry Matcha Tonic was pretty but wasn't too crazy about the flavor. I should have just gone with my original gut instinct and chosen a hot beverage like Hojicha Latte or something like that. I was sort of thirsting for something cooler for a change though, and the Cherry Matcha Tonic was the first "cool" drink that caught my eye so I decided to go for it. Won't do that again. Everything else was good though. The Sea Salt Caramel Gelato was the star of the show! In the store there's a sign beneath their gelato section that says "Canadian Gelato Champion". I believe it after tasting the Sea Salt Caramel! They had Nama Chocolates too. I was tempted to get some but...only so much a person's wallet and waistline can handle at one time. Will try the Nama Chocolate some other time. You can order in person here, or you can place an "Express" order at the Kiosk. We tried both ways of ordering. Ordered at the counter first and then after finished my Cherry Matcha Tonic decided I wanted to try the Sea Salt Gelato so then tried ordering that from the Kiosk. Most of the parking in this area is paid but I lucked out and got a free spot right around the corner from this place!

I could tell even from outside that it's a popular work and study type of coffee shop with your free wifi and outlets. I hope this post doesn't give it away and make it way too crowded for me to find a seat next time. There's a steady flow of people visiting the stores while I was there on a weekday between late afternoon and early evening but there's always extra seat for anyone new looking for a desk to work or chat with friends. A few could be better are the pricing and temperature. They offer free oat milk substitute and -$0.35 for bringing your own cup but no more employee discount. And it was so cold in there, I could see a lot of people kept their winter jackets on, I don't think it's a heating issue but the constant windy seems to suggest the AC is on rather than the heater, oh wells Im out of there now. For that reason, unless I'm bundled up, it'll be a hard sale to be back again! I got a hojicha latte and it as pretty good, perfect sweetness and temperature for my cold with no ice. The barista was super great to work with.
