I've never been asked to leave a shop before, but that's exactly what happened here. After check-in, I briefly stepped outside to understand how they'd test a slow tire leak. The manager, Danny, approached me in an agitated tone, told me I wasn't allowed there, and when I asked a couple of basic questions, he became dismissive and abruptly stopped the service. My car was taken off the rack, I was told "we're done," and sent on my way--no diagnosis, no explanation. If you value basic communication and professionalism, I'd look elsewhere. read more

Guidry's Alignment has been there for many years. This past week I needed an alignment, and WOW---my RAM 1500 feels like new!! I had been getting tires (currently on a 2nd set), and I have feeling that when I purchased at a dealer (they did NOT do the alignment as requested, and now I need two tires). Needed a new set of tires for F-350. 2-1/2" Leveling kit installed with spacers. Settled on NITTO brand All-Terrain tires. After initial inspection I was surprised to find out I needed my steering linkage repaired. They recommended the vehicle required a steering rod bracket to be welded by another vendor. Guidry's took care of getting truck back & forth getting it done in a very timely manner. During the process owner Danny Guidry was excellent to work with. I took my vehicle to Guidry's for an alignment and also to check some work that I did myself. Danny was very professional, kind, understanding and most importantly, helpful. I had my car aligned at another location and the steering wheel was left off center and the front right tire was wearing on the inside. A friend recommended Guidry's and they did an excellent job. My steering wheel is back centered, and my car drives so much better. And... they showed me the before and after settings, and explained exactly why my tire was wearing out so quickly. Great job! I was traveling back to Fl. and had a flat tire on the side of the road. A nice young man changed my tire a recommended them to patch my tire so I could get on the road. He called them to let them know I would be coming. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. They were busy but took the time to slip me in. I had two bad alignments at other shops before a friend recommended Guidry's Alignment. This place looks rough and the mechanics are a bit loud but they do an exceptional job. I recently purchased oversized tires for my 2015 Tacoma. National Discount Tire in Lafayette had the truck pulling left at high speed. Mavis Tire in Gulf Shores had my steering wheel crooked and told me that they couldn't do better. Guidry's had my truck pulling straight and the steering wheel is dead center. They made sure it was pulling straight before finishing. The mechanic at Guidry's had to align it 3 times before the truck pulled true. Apparently the oversized tires were making "Radial Drag". Alignments aren't always easy but this shop knows how to do the difficult jobs. I finally found a good alignment shop! read more

I came in for a simple tire patch, for a slow leaking car tire. The middle aged lady at the front desk was short and abrupt, and took an attitude very quickly. When she asked for my name, I gave it, very friendly, and my cell number I gave it, then she asked for my address, and I asked he why she needed that? She said for her computer system, so I told her. A couple minutes later she was walking by, seeming very put out, so I attempted to engage her in friendly conversation, asking her, you must get a lot of customers worried about giving out their personal info, she replied very ugly, "Not like I'm going to go robe your house', and walked out the door. she hadn't said a thing again for the hour and half I was in the shop, waiting on a simple 15 min, max fix. Later when she gave me the bill, it was $25, and I said wow $25 for a simple tire patch, and she committed again, "We don't work for free." Her father the owner had to admonish her at that time, because he could see how ugly she was being. read more
