It's a nice cozy place, however when I visited with my girlfriend and mom I had gotten the chalupa as well as my mom. To our surprise it was not what we expected at all. It was covered in grease and oil with a thin pathetic excuse for a tortilla. Chalupas are typically made with a semi toasted thicker shell. This was way too thin and the toppings that it came with did not go well. It was a red salsa with chicken on a tortilla basically. The waitress was nice but did not offer any insight into how it looked or how it would be prepared otherwise I would have never ordered it if I knew that's what it was. My mind was thinking that I was going to get something completely different. My girlfriend's meal was better she got an americano taco with chicken and it was good except she stated that the chicken was indeed dry. Honestly I would have rather had her meal it looked much better than mine. I couldn't even finish mine. I told the waitress I didn't like it and she didn't offer to get me a different dish. Our smoothies were the highlight, we had pina colada smoothies and my girlfriend had strawberry. They were absolutely delicious and came in a cute authentic type glass. The meal for 3 of us came to almost $80 which was way too much for what you get, you don't get a lot of value for your money here. I don't think I will be back. I wish my experience would have been better as I was looking forward to trying this place for quite some time but for my meal to be this disappointing and having to spend that much for something that was too greasy to eat I just can't recommend going here.

Heard about this place on Kelly Drives. I stopped in on a Sunday. The menu has changed from the photos on Yelp. I ordered Tuna Mango Ceviche to start followed by Cochinita Pibil. The Ceviche was excellent. The Cochinita was full of flavor from the different chiles used. The spiciness was a little more than I am used to. I could have used a little more cabbage with it. Ended my meal with their traditional flan. Service was attentive

Me and my sister went here on Thursday night. we were welcomed to a dimly lit, little restaurant with live music playing and adorable decorations scaling the ceilings. Food first. We ordered chips + guac + salsa (green and red), vegetarian green sauce enchiladas (no beans) American tacos vegetarian the guac and both green + red salsas were great. they were a bit spicy for me, but I have the spice tolerance of a baby. enchiladas were particularly flavorful, vegetables inside were cooked well and it was ahuge portion for the price. (15) My sister got the tacos and loved them. they were also pretty well filled and not skimpy on any ingredient. the service was great. attentive and knowledgeable and kind.

I was craving Mexican food one day and decided to give this place a try. I ordered takeout and I was surprised with how fast it was ready. However, they did forget a taco but they handled the mistake beautifully! They realized they made a mistake and added some churros in for free. They have great customer service and good Mexican food. I ordered their chips and guacamole. The chips were fried to a perfect crisp. The guacamole was season perfectly and the avocados were nice and fresh. Next, I had their al pastor street taco and chorizo street taco on corn tortillas. They both tasted delicious and were packed with flavor. They also gave you plenty of meat. Overall, I was very satisfied with their food and their customer service. I am excited to try it again!

The service from our server was awful. We asked for coffee twice and never received it. She never asked me what I wanted, and gave me attitude when I finally asked. Didn't bring the right dish. Just awful.

Street tacos. Only 1 taco comes in an order.

Ordered street tacos on door dash. What a disappointment. The menu says street tacos and shows multiple tacos in the picture. I asked for an order of grilled chicken tacos and carnitas tacos expecting at least 6 small street tacos. I got two little tacos that looked nothing like the picture on their site. Very misleading!

Kids shrimp K-Burrito & Fries - fries were good and decent size for a kid. He just wished it had some cream or pico in it

Ordered here through DoorDash. Portions was good minus the guac. $5 for this small thing that didn't even come with chips. Salsas had great flavor, the birra taco was the winner of the show. Rice could use some more favor. The nachos were buy one get one free so we figured why not. Great portion, thick chips so they were not soggy. Chicken was a little dry but we just added some sour cream and it was fine. The esquite was also very good - would definitely get that again!

This is a family owned restaurant. The food here is pretty good! Authentic Mexican cuisine, for those craving really good food. The vibe is really relaxed and romantic if you are on a date. The staff is friendly, relaxed and helpful. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the ground beef burrito with beans and rice, along with the homemade limonada (lemonaide). The burrito was pretty good, seasoned just right, the beans were cooked just right and good flavor also. Cash/Credit and Debit are accepted here. If you can't find curbside parking, there are free parking lots behind most of the establishments on main street.

Today on September.6,2024 me, little George & mama Suz decided to try this Mexican joint for the first time. We got tortilla chips and two different types of salsas for dips, the green one is really spicy and the red one isn't that spicy. Well, we tried it and we liked it a lot. The service was excellent but the price we paid for our meal wasn't worth it. I ordered for my brunch was 'Americano' tacos (grilled chicken with lettuce and a sauce with a side of sour cream), the chicken was dry and the tortillas were too soft to eat. I also had a 'strawberry smoothie' from there as well and that was so delicious. I think I liked the tortilla chips and dip and the smoothie the best instead of my meal, sorry to say. Always, my experience wasn't that good but yours probably will be once you give this joint a try. I'm sure if I had something different I would have liked it and ate it too. Other than that the service was great and everyone was polite & nice too. The atmosphere and environment was clean and presentable. But I'm not too sure if I'll be coming back here again!! #GetYaTacosOn #GetYaLunaYSolOn #GetYaMexicanOn #GetYaTortillaChipsOn #GiveItATry #ItWontHurt

Finally found my go-to restaurant for Mexican food. I moved from North Jersey where we had a plethora of options for Mexican food. I was having a hard time finding a good restaurant around the area until I finally tried Luna y Sol. The birria, ribeye steak taco, and Al pastor were all delicious. The guacamole and chips were outstanding. The agua fresca was indeed refreshing and not overly sweet and the churros were spot on, it came with a chocolate sauce and another sauce that when dipped in it felt like you were eating a churros tres leches. I will be ordering a lot more from here.

Chile Relleno with an extra Chile. It was delicious. Not a huge fan of the rice, but the beans were good. Mix them together.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. I have had their street tacos before at the food truck festival and they were great. I got Chile relleno, it was awesome. Sauce was so good. Wasn't a huge fan of the rice, but the beans were great and I mixed it together and it was pretty good. Wife had the shrimp tacos, she said they were okay, little under-seasoned, but good nonetheless. The guacamole was excellent! Some of the best I've had in a while. It's a BYOB and I will certainly be back at some point.

Super disappointing. I paid $25 for Fajitas trio and it was the smallest portion, plus the meat wasn't cut up . Super confused on why they wouldn't cut up the meat so it can be eaten on the tortillas or with chips. The meat had no flavor and the steak was over cooked. It's really hard to mess up Mexican food, but they did. My friends had tacos, and thought they were decent, but the corn tortilla they use need to be changed. I would not recommend this place.

My very first Tacoria experience was at the Edgewater, NJ location. Needless to say, I was hooked. I've tried so much on their menu across multiple locations, met some of the most genuinely kind staff, and I just keep coming back. When I say my man & I have Tacoria often, I mean it - the quality never disappoints no matter which location we go to. PARKING The parking lot is on the smaller side, but I pulled in around 4:30 PM on a Friday and had zero trouble finding a spot. ATMOSPHERE This location is absolutely gorgeous. You can really feel small bits and pieces of Philadelphia woven into the space; I genuinely loved seeing that reflected here. Tacoria always brings an amazing atmosphere no matter where you go, and this location is no exception. There is also outdoor seating available when the weather allows it. I could have easily eaten in and felt a little bittersweet about not doing so. That said, the inside is beautiful. MENU & FOOD Since my man is usually the one ordering for us, I had to take a moment to recall our go to order. The big menu board is a lot to take in at once, so I appreciated that Justin, the guy working the counter, handed me one of the smaller menus to look through. That made it so much easier to find what I usually get. I ordered the burrito box with Brussels sprouts and carne asada (double the protein), the Nutella nachos (which are my absolute favorite, they're a must), and an agua fresca. I swear if Tacoria started selling Agua Fresca by the gallon I would buy it! Fair warning: I am never fully able to finish a whole burrito box in one sitting. I can usually get through about three quarters of it, but honestly that is not a complaint at all because Tacoria tastes just as delicious the next day warmed up. For the agua fresca, I went with my usual horchata, but there are three options available: horchata, limonada, and guava and basil. My boyfriend's go-to is the limonada that he mixes with the guava. They also have regular refreshments available, but if you're new here, please try an agua fresca, you will not regret it. For sauces, they have to go containers to fill up at your disgression, I loaded up on salsa verde, habanero, smoky roja, and Valentina. I just love building out my burrito box with literally all of them. For a Polish girl, I LOVE SPICY FOOD. LOCATION I originally knew the other south jersey location, but that one has always been a bit too far out for me. According to Justin, this location opened up in August 2025. Therefore, knowing that this one is so close now is genuinely dangerous for my wallet; I can already see myself ordering here way too often, and I am completely fine with that. Tacoria started in New Brunswick and has been growing and expanding ever since, and I'm thrilled to see it making its way into this area. More people deserve to have access to this food. ALL IN ALL, I have to give a huge shoutout to Justin, because he genuinely made this first-time experience at this location so special. We were talking back and forth while I looked through the menu, and he was warm, helpful, and just the kind of person you're happy to interact with. At the end of it all, he comped my agua fresca because it was my first visit to this location, and honestly, that kind of generosity and hospitality says everything about the culture of this place. I went back in after I had already walked out just to get his name so I could mention him here, because that level of customer service deserves to be recognized. Tacoria is always going to be my go-to for a feel-good, delicious, well-made meal when I want to treat myself. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is always amazing, and the people make every single visit worthwhile. If you have never been, I cannot recommend it enough. Just go.
