My first thoughts walking into the establishment was that it was a perfect place to take a date or enjoy lunch with friends. The staff was amazing and very helpful with deciding what to get. For lunch I had a chicken burrito which had black beans, pico, chicken, and rice with sour cream all wrapped up in a beautifully wrapped burrito. I finished half of the burrito and it was absolutely delicious, I would highly recommend coming here if you want some great Mexican food. We of course had to check out the juarita's sodas they were so good I loved the strawberry and lime ones. My mom tried the brisket burrito and loved hers, as well. We both had chips with the salsa and the chips were perfectly crispy and tasted great. All in all I would say this place is amazing and probably one of the best Mexican places in the area, plus you have all these cool shops to go shop around in afterwards. The tacos however, were a little bit of a let down for me. I would have preferred a corn tortilla. Brisket was fine but the toppings and sauces fell flat for me. I guess I prefer Mexican style tacos. Burritos Bigger Than My Face Asked for recommendations, helpful staff informed me that the brisket is the best and that if I was really hungry I should get the burrito over the tacos. The brisket burrito was packed full of brisket, rice, cheese and a little pico de gallo. It also comes with a side of chips and salsa. This hit the spot. This is a cute place. Tiny log cabin that's take out. There was a table and chairs inside but I don't think you can sit down. They have plenty of outdoor seating. The service was friendly. They make delicious food in that little kitchen. We tried a few things. A general comment is that everything was salty but I don't cook with salt at home so eating out for me is always salty. This may not be an accurate assessment of their food. Brisket burrito - this thing was massive. The brisket was so flavorful. We upgraded to a platter to have rice and beans. The black beans were very good. Nice texture. The rice was ok. There was so much rice in the burrito so the extra isn't necessary if this is the only thing you're ordering. Chicken Birria tacos - I loved these. The sauce was delicious. I've never had Birria before so I can't compare it to anything else. Chicken quesadilla - this was a large portion. Decent balance of chicken and cheese. It was served with sour cream and pico de gallo. Chips and salsa - these are complimentary. They did ask if we wanted mild or spicy salsa and we asked for both. The spicy salsa was out of this world. Not very spicy though which was much appreciated. Another review commented that the chips were burnt. They weren't burnt (at least not by taste). They are darker than store bought chips. These taste homemade and the darker color could be from the tortillas they use. I think they were some of the best chips I've had!!! read more

Let me start by saying that this review is based on the fact that I have experienced tacos from taco trucks in California. This restaurant is located in a beautiful area called Rancocas Woods adjacent to Mount Laurel Township. There are lots of amazing small shops that would make for a great afternoon of shopping and dining. All of the meals are freshly prepared both indoors and out. Once I ordered I waited outside because the weather was beautiful and possibly because the orders are freshly prepared and I had not called ahead I had about a 15 minute wait for my food. Luckily I wasn't in a hurry so I Enjoyed the weather. I would classify these as American tacos. I've got fish tacos which I prefer were made from cod and not tilapia. I don't believe the tortillas were grilled at all because they tasted raw. The flavor of the fish was just OK. It was supposed to include cilantro but I'm pretty sure there wasn't any cilantro there. And I actually very much love cilantro. These are decent basic tacos but again since i've experienced authentic Mexican tacos in California I have a very high standard of comparison. I don't know if I'll be back and I'm unlikely to highly recommend. read more

This is my perfect little hideaway for Tex mex food. Their burritos are huge, taste great, and will last at least two meals. The portions are huge. I love their chips. They are always fried perfectly and the seasoning that they use is so good! They are never salty or burnt, and are portioned well. My only complaint would be them switching from actual churros to churro chips. I really hate that they did that. However, it's not enough to detract from the 5 star rating. The cooks and cashier are normally friendly and patient. The restaurant is small and busy. There's very little room in the restaurant itself, but there are tables and parking spaces extremely close to the building, so even if you wanted to go outside to enjoy the day and eat, you could. Went back again today to grab a quick lunch and I'm glad we did...Fish Tacos and Shrimp Tacos with Chipotle mayo, oh my! So good. I am usually disappointed that you only get 2 tacos per order at most places, but that's probably because most places cheap out and give you weak tacos; NOT Ma And Pa's though these tacos were loaded! Fish was crisp and juicy, I also didn't have to worry about searching for it as I had some in EVERY bite. The homemade chips and tortillas along with the hot salsa are an awesome.
