Super fun interactive brewery tour! Lots of information but lots of ways to consume it. They offer many languages for this self guided tour. Many restaurants (some don't open til 12). Your free pint of Guinness (or soda) at the end of the tour is really just a cherry on top to a really cool experience. And because it is self guided you can move on whenever you're ready. Even if you don't do beer go the tasting room and smell and learn about how the beer should be consumed!
Summary: Highly recommend. If you enjoy Guinness Beer and products or how Arthur Guinness positively impacted the economy and families of Dublin, the tour is worthwhile. Schedule a few hours to get the full effect. When my family and I planned our trip to Ireland and scheduled a stay in Dublin for a few nights, we reserved tickets for the Guinness Storehouse tour. On the day of the tour, we walked past the horse and buggy rides on Bellevue and posed for pictures by the iconic large Guinness Gates, I could feel the anticipation building. Walking inside the main entrance and through the ticket area was relatively sterile and quiet. Once inside the Storehouse, however, sights and sounds abounded. Tours begin at the center and bottom floor of the seven floor, pint-shaped (as in a pint glass) atrium. Although a tour guide kicked off our experience with interesting facts and history, most of the tour was self-guided. A quick summary of the 7 floors: Picture an immersive infomercial (but one you chose), with some cool displays along the way. And, several opportunities to drink the world-famous Guinness Stout. If you like to drink Guinness, all the ticket packages include the drinking room where you are taught how to enjoy a Guinness with a smaller glass and given a coupon for a free pint or non-alcoholic beverage choice on the top floor at the Gravity Bar. We chose the Academy package where we learned how to pour the "Perfect Pint", receive a certificate (of proof of completion), and then enjoyed our beer, complete with a foam mustache. We enjoyed the view and another brew at the Gravity Bar. Food options are available along the way and the big merch area is located on the bottom floor.
Guinness storehouse is well worth the price of admission. There's all the marketing piece, but when you arrive on the tasting room floor, there is a large hall, where if you stay for a while, there is a 40 minute show. Ours started with a drum lesson (bodran), and then had a live band complete with Irish dancers and and electric harp player. It was great and felt like an Irish experience. Upstairs, the views were fantastic and the food was quite good with ample portions. I felt like it was an excellent experience and I'm surprised they haven't opened one in Las Vegas and Orlando!
The Guinness Storehouse is a must if you're in the area. I don't really care for beer, but I tried mine with black currant and it was so good! You could easily spend 30 minutes or 4 hours here. It's a beautiful "museum" and easy to navigate. Give yourself a little longer than you think you'll need.
If you're a Guinness lover like me then it's only proper you visit the Storehouse in Dublin. I've been twice. It's seven stories of history, nostalgia, and well, beer! This was once the fermentation plant but now it's got the Guinness Academy where you learn to do a proper pour, an experimental pub, gravity bar, food, a gift shop...of course. The first time I went it took me about two hours or so to get through the whole place. Took about an hour the second time because I knew what I wanted to see and do. There are interactive exhibits that help provide history and education on the brewing process, how Guinness started, and so on. I highly suggest purchasing tickets in advance because they get so busy and you don't want to miss out on this extraordinary experience.
The Guinness Storehouse is absolutely worth the visit -- a newer, beautifully designed installation that's genuinely impressive from start to finish. It's a self‑guided experience that you move through at your own pace while learning about everything from how the iconic beer is made, to the evolution of its marketing and advertisements, to the history of the Guinness family and brand. It's engaging, modern, and well done. Make sure to stop at the Guinness Academy, where the staff teaches you how to pour the perfect pint (a must‑do). After that, head to the top floor for a 360° view of Dublin and the factory grounds. You also get another pint on the house -- enjoy it with friends while taking in the views. Don't forget to stop at the gift shop on the way down; they have something for everyone. Highly recommend booking a reservation, and the earlier the better. We arrived at 10am on a Wednesday and by the time we left around 12:30pm, the place was absolutely mobbed. A fun, immersive, and well‑run experience. Five stars and an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Dublin.
Admitredly part of the reason I even wanted to visit Ireland+Dublin was due to my love of Guinness. Touring the storehouse did not disappoint! Despite how large the place is, it was easy to find the beginning of the tour and follow along from there. The building is several stories and covers the finest details of the Guinness production from the family to the land, ingredients, and those that work behind the scenes! I enjoyed the marketing section which showed some rather quirky ways that past Guinness advertisements were made. The bar at the end where you can finally have a pint of Guinness is a perfect finale to the rather epic tale. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend it!
Super cool self-lead tour. We loved the visual aspect of everything that really was an experience like no other. Try to give yourself at least 2 -3 hours if you want to take your time, have enough time for the rooftop lounge and enough time for any other experience you may do. We chose to do the StouTie experience which is a pint of Guinness with your picture on top. It was sooooo cool. I would recommend that they make the picture purchasable because I would have liked to preserve the picture forever! Store was really big and plenty of things to buy. So glad we did this experience.
Such a cool experience! Highly recommend buying tickets in advance especially if you want the Stoutie experience. Tickets were SOLD out for weeks. We were able to get tickets for self guided tours. This place is huge and you can easily spend hours here. Every floor is well labeled. Place is very clean given the amount of tourist that visit. Service is exceptional the staff here are amazing. There are food options and few restaurants for anyone that wants to sit and have a meal. There is also a store where you can purchase merchandise. The tour itself was very educational and not boring as a lot of cool technology is used to educate on the beer process. I am so glad I went here.
I know this is super touristy but it's honestly so worth the hype. We easily spent three hours there and probably could have done more. Each floor covered interesting material and despite the number of people we never felt overcrowded. Yes, I paid an extra €8 to drink a pint with my face on it. No, I don't regret it. Great views from the Gravity Bar. Also the merch was surprisingly cheap! A lot of shirts under €30 which I wasn't expecting.
This was a must for us while visiting Ireland! The storehouse/ tour is 7 floors and each floor has something different to offer. There are different ticketing options and we went with the one that offers a selfie option. This was so cute and fun to do. You will learn about the taste, the making, and history of Guinness. The staff was so friendly and even recommended us to one of the best pubs we tried! This was such a cool experience!!
You cannot come to Dublin and not stop at the Guinness storehouse. It was one of my favorite museums / stops in Dublin likely because not only was this place educational, you'll get some of the best Guinness served right at your fingertips! We definitely pilgrimaged to the Guinness storehouse. From our hotel it was a steep climb but well worth it (you can easily taxi - we were saving our money for beer). I'd highly recommend buying your tickets in advance as it'll be easy in and also my second pro tip is the earlier you can get in the better. Like any museum / major tourist attraction, the later into the day the busier it will get. This is key if you want to hit their bar (which I get to later). The actual Guinness Museum / self paced tour was pretty interesting. We purchased headsets so that we could listen to different speakers talk through our assent of the multifloor museum. Some floors are better than others in my opinion or it depends what you're interested in... I personally loved the floor where they talked about advertising and the famous animal cartoons that have been depicted for Guinness for years, such as the toucan or the turtle. They have an animatronic fish on this floor and I won't tell you the quote but it's one of my favorites ;) you definitely have to go check it out for yourself because it makes me laugh every time. Also, like any good museum I did enjoy their gift shop. They have everything and anything you could think of... It's the perfect shop for beer lovers or just that nostalgic logo that makes for the perfect gifts to take home. I say you get the best selection here but honestly throughout Dublin most gift stores have Guinness memorabilia so don't feel pressured to buy something here, but I will say they had a great store. Another floor that I really liked was the small Guinness sampling room. All guests get a complementary shooter of Guinness. That room has a live staff member who talks you through the Guinness and the pour, it's also fun to all Enjoy the sip together. OK, ending my review strong on why you will want to come early... The top floor leads you to their Guinness gravity bar that overlooks the city of Dublin and has some of the best views you'll get with a pint anywhere. As simple as it was, I'm a sucker for a really good view and a cold beer. I also like that you can come to this bar without having to pay for the museum. You'll wanna get here early though to get a great table by the window and honestly, we sat here for almost 2 hours drinking beer because it was pure perfection. They serve a variety of their beers up top and the staff were very nice. At one point in time they also had Irish dancers come up to do some traditional dances while you sip your beer. This was a 10/10 experience and something you must do on your trip here.
This is a super fun little activity to do while you're in Dublin, with a tour, interactive displays, and tastings! You first walk in for your tour and get a little rundown of how everything will go (and see the deed for the storehouse that's embedded in the floor). As you traverse through the whole tour, you see Guinness advertising displays from throughout history, which I enjoyed a little extra neat as that's my profession :-) You get to journey through the life of a brew being made, with interactive displays showing the ingredients and process in brewing beer - the hops, the grain, and the steeping, etc. The original Brian Born Harp that you see on every Guinness is also on display, which was super cool! I don't want to spoil all the fun by describing the entire tour play-by-play, but after you've gone through all the floors of interactive displays on the tour, you get to the top of the Store House - The Gravity Bar! Your tour ticket includes a Guinness Draft at The Gravity Bar, and the servers who pour your draft will even tell you how to do the perfect pull. The Gravity Bar is made of all glass, so gives a beautiful sweeping view of Dublin - the best view we had while in Dublin. If you're a big fan of Guinness or just of beer itself, this is a must see/do tour! read more
We enjoyed the Guinness Storehouse for the most part, it came highly recommended and was a great option for something to do indoors (out of the rain). It is obvious that this is a well-planned, money making machine. It is a huge 7-story building with tour buses arriving regularly. There are a lot of crowds, so bring your patience. We arrived almost an hour before our timed entry slot but the attendants were very helpful and let us in. When you enter, there is a place to store you're small luggage or large bags. The tour is self guided, so you can really spend as little or as much time as you want. We were there for about 2 hours and would recommend this as a minimum. If you receive a drink ticket to the Gravity Bar, it is on the top (7th) floor. **Pro tip** Take the elevator (lifts) to the top and grab your "free" beer. Then take the lifts back down and start your tour with a drink in hand. If you finish your drink by the 5th floor then you can stop at the bar, enjoy some live music and give your feet a break. When you get back to the Gravity Bar, spend time observing the 360° view of all of Dublin. Don't be shy asking if someone is leaving if you see that their glasses are empty and you see them standing up to leave. This is how we managed to get 2 tables! read more

This place was amazing! You can easily spend half a day here. We started in the beer garden on the top floor, which was absolutely beautiful, drank delicious Guinness and soaked in the views of the city. On a lower floor we went to a cafe where a live band was playing , ate a yummy burger all while we watched traditional Irish dancing. Service was great and everyone was very friendly. Before we left we visited the gift shop and got our names engraved on our Guinness glasses! The store is awesome, highly recommend you stop before you leave. We can't wait to go back next time we're in Dublin! read more

What a fun experience! This self-guided museum was the perfect mix of interactive, education, and fun installations! I love that you can pick your experiences now (a pint with a picture on it, learning the proper way to pour a pint, and of course, the free pint at the end/top of the museum). read more
The approach to this place was astounding. I was definitely ready to head inside after I enjoyed the view. My significant other and I stepped inside. We followed the sign that said Purchase Tickets. Walkup Prices for Adult (+18) was €30. That was a bit steep, so I was hoping for a good experience. Attached to my ticket was a Drink Voucher. I was excited to try it. After that, we stopped at the Information counter. We were able to drop off our luggage here, so that was convenient. We were given a card that said Luggage Tag 3. This was a free service and I felt comfortable with it. We waited in line for a bit to be let in. It was fast. We went up an escalator and landed near an employee that told us a bit about Guinness. After that, we started our experience underneath where it said The Journey Begins Here. It was self-guided, so that was nice. I was able to take my time and read a lot about Guinness. We stopped at Cooperage Cafe to see what they had to offer. From the Hot Drinks section, I ordered a Reg Americano for 3.70. I also got a Scone (B) for €4.70. It was ready fast. We found a table to sit down at there. The Americano was pretty good and even better with Brown Sugar added to it. The Scone was crumbly, yet enjoyable. I'm glad I stopped there. My favorite part of Guinness Storehouse was The Tasting Rooms. We waited in a line for it. Luckily, it went by fast. We were led into a room that allowed us to go around and smell different areas. We were given a sample of Guinness to take into the next room. In the next room, we were told some history and then guided on how to taste Guinness. It was an interesting process. I enjoyed my sample. In the Cinema Room, we sat down and watched interesting videos. It was a great way to settle down for a bit. Gravity Bar was laid out nicely and covered a lot of ground. Unfortunately, it was packed there. I claimed my Drink Voucher there for a pint of Guinness. It sure hit the spot. I took it down fairly fast. The views from up there were spectacular. It was almost impossible to not stop at The Store. It was large and had a variety of items. I ended up looking at the Keyrings section and purchased one of the Guinness Keyrings for €7. Besides that, I purchased a Black Gold Brewed In Dublin T for €18. I was pleased with both of the items. We stopped at the Left Luggage counter to retrieve our belongings. I gave the Luggage Tag 3 card we were given at the Information counter and we were given our belongings back. It was simple. The service I received throughout my visit was hospitable. I didn't have any issues. Overall, I had a great experience here. It was a bit pricey, but still worth it. With so many floors to explore, I'm glad I got to experience all of them. One of the funnest things we did in Dublin! We honestly thought we would do the tour, grab a pint, and head out- but we ended up staying for over 3 hours. Make sure to reserve a time slot as there were a few people outside the entrance who were trying to walk in but they were booked. My husband and I did the Guinness Academy to pour our own pint as well as the typical tour. The Academy experience was fine, we just got an extra pint and got to sit for a while. The tour is self-guided so you can make it as long or as short as you like. We got a little antsy towards the end so we made it quick to go up to the Gravity Bar. The Gravity Bar was incredible and had a great view of the city. We magically found a place to sit and enjoy our pints. We tried the Lager to break up the stout, but it wasn't our favorite. We ended up with about 4 pints of Guinness throughout and enjoyed them all. Make this a stop on your tour of Dublin! read more

Of course it is mandatory to visit Guinness factory while visiting! It was a fun learning experience..ingredients and fermentation process, family roots and business formats-structure dating back many years ago with customs and traditions. There is a "college" to learn how to pour beer correctly which is fun. The tasting room allows you to get a tiny taste prior to heading upstairs to have your pint of preferred beer, as there is a 13 (lighter) version while also offering the darker traditional Guinness as well. There is a panoramic view from upstairs which makes it a nice place to have a drink or two, or more, with nice sunlight all throughout from indoors as it is all covered and warm. All tickets get you: Self-Guided Tour Entry to Guinness Tasting Rooms Entry to Gravity Bar and a pint of Guinness, Guinness On each level you walk though learning about the brewing process and history of Guinness, tasting, advertising, and finally the Gravity bar for some spectacular views of Dublin. They even have a restaurant which I was told you must eat at (wish I knew before). Also make sure you reserve your tickets online and ahead of time they usually tend to be sold out. read more
This is a great tourist destination! I thought the STOUTie experience was well worth it so that I could put a selfie on the pint. The sky bar was also really cool & came with a complimentary pint. I'm not a big Guinness drinker but I definitely think it tastes better here rather than in the US. read more

I loved the Guinness storehouse experience from start to end! The design and delivery of the experience helps you learn how they brew the beer as well as the history of the company in an engaging and fun manner. The view from the top of the building where the gravity bar is located is one of the best in the city. Well worth the visit! read more
A "must do" for all tourists that might like beer. Yes, it's a tourist trap, but it's a darn GOOD tourist trap that gives you a ton of "bang" for your buck. We spent about 3 hours here and probably could have stayed alllll day Learn how Guinness is made and the proper way to pour it Then tour the history of Guinness and it's famous advertising campaigns - my favorite is "a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle" or the toucan. The toucan is great Other fun ways to drink the day away: -Grab a bite to eat -Choose a floor and listen to some live music -Taste the different flavor profiles of Guinness around the world -Get your face on a beer (not kidding) -Enjoy the huge gift shop -Snag a few photos for social media -Take in the expansive view of Dublin from the top floor read more
Honestly seriously disappointed. The tour was self guided which would have been fine if there wasn't LOADS of people. Since there were so many people it was really hard to get to plaques to read and see all the tour had to offer. We had tickets for 4:30pm but got there early and didn't expect to get in we were just trying to get on the wifi to find Roe & Co to kill time but they let us in anyway. That may be one reason why it was so crowded, they didn't care about the ticket times. The escalators only went up, not down, so when we finally got to the sky bar (the only thing worth the tour if you ask me, just for the views, but it was also JAM PACKED) we had to take the stairs all the way down because the line for the elevator (lift) was so long. And for so long people told me that Guinness tastes better right from the source but to be honest it tasted exactly the same as it does from a bar on Long Island all the way across the pond. Save your time and go to Jameson or Roe & Co and take a tour guided tour instead. read more
This review is from my second visit to the Storehouse, the first being around 10 years ago... and lots has changed. At least that's what my memory suggests. I may have visited during a colder season the last time, but I do not remember it being so crowded. If you get a ticket online and arrive before your ticket time, they may let you in anyway, as they did with me. Self-guided tours are good, because you can go as slowly or quickly as you want. There is a brief briefing right at the start where they'll show you the 9,000 year old lease and talk about the largest pint glass in the world and don't touch this, don't touch that. no murdering, etc. Then you're off on your own. I found that the downstairs portion of the tour/exhibits are the most cluttered and for whatever reason it seems to taper off as you go up to other levels. They at least do crowd control when it comes to the tasting portion; they will put you in long queues and you will go as a bulk group, as the room is small and they have to pour individual glasses. The top floor is when you get your pint. And holy freakin A, people must be alcoholics. People get really pushy towards the end... as if the Guiness factory is going to run out of Guinness or something. Don't expect to get a seat at the top, because they just let people chill there as long as they want, so tables and seats are generally filled and many resorted to sitting on the ground. People will be uncompromising and like hyenas when someone gets up to leave, or bunching up near the bar for a pint. Don't expect sympathy if you're handicapped, either. People were snatching and denying me left and right. I remember liking the tour last time I was on it. A few things were different. The layout. Certainly the crowds. Definitely not as much like a zoo. I remember they poured individual pints at the bar for each person with a voucher, instead of mass pours like they did on this occasion. It wasn't even summer, I can't imagine how horrible it must be then! For sure it wasn't this bad last time. I'd say only do the tour if you really really like Guinness... I'm sure people are going to do it anyway. Don't say I didn't warn you. read more
The Guinness tour is nicely done even for non drinkers. You are taken to see and smell each ingredient, and at the end you get to taste a pint at the Gravity Bar on the top floor with a 360 degree view of the city. Our tour included a dinner at the Brewer's Dining Hall and you guessed it more Guinness! Another one of my favorite part of the tour is there was one floor dedicated to the various Guinness commercial "mascots" over the years and I thought they were all very hilarious. I've seen pictures online where they print a picture of you on the Guinness foam, I just wish my tour included that. Also note that you can get the Guinness potato chips for 2 euro cheaper all over town. read more
If you love Guinness, this is a must. You will learn about the beer making process but you won't see beer being made. Oh well. The exhibits are interesting, the view from the Gravity Bar is fabulous, and the beer is brilliant. Choose one of the add on experiences to the tour to score two pints. This was our last stop on our last day in dublin and it did not disappoint. It's not has informative as the Jameson tour we did earlier in the day, but the Guinness tour has its own charm. You get a free glass of Guinness at the end of the tour up in their gravity bar which was the highlight of the tour for me. There's a beautiful view of the city up at the bar but it was a fight for your life to find an area to sit. We still enjoyed our time here and glad we ended our day with a nice glass of Guinness. read more

We had such a great time at the Guinness Storehouse!! The self guided tour is interesting with lots of photo spots, fun historical pieces, and plenty of info on what makes Guinness, Guinness. We paid for the Stoutie and it was so much fun! I recommend going to the earliest time slot so that the stoutie bar isn't crowded. We were the first people in the stoutie bar, so we got to have our pick of tables and it felt much more personalized. The staff were also super sweet and made us a special second pour each with a special congratulatory message as we were here during our honeymoon. Great experience overall. Only note is that the bar where you use your free drink at is quite warm, so if you're here in winter with all your layers, you will be warm. read more
Well worth the trip! There are so many different interactive experiences as well as photo opportunities. Guinness has outdone themselves, very impressive. I appreciated the many levels of things to do, see and hear. The staff was very informative and full of knowledge. There was so much to learn about the process of what makes a good pint as well as the philanthropy of Mr. Author Guinness. The dining hall was set up beautifully and there was something for everyone. Food for light appetites to the more heartier. Your tour ticket includes a pint that you can have with your meal. I did not care for the burger, it was more of a loaf that was sliced. The stew was amazing; rich Guinness gravy covering hearty chunks of vegetables. The brown bread was equally delicious with REAL butter. To work off the good meal, I decided to take the stairs down to the shopping area. Lots of amazing items and great prices. Something for every budget. Planning on visiting the Guinness Storehouse, take your time and enjoy the experience. It's well worth a trip. read more
This is the kind of touristy thing that just has to be done, but is also actually quite enjoyable! We did the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE EXPERIENCE + ROE & CO DISTILLERY combined option for only €45 per person and I can't stress enough how perfect this was! The Guinness storehouse experience was self-guided, and interesting. We enjoyed the tasting experience followed by a free pint in their sky bar with great 360 degree views of Dublin. However, the Roe & Co whiskey tour was one of the highlights of our entire trip! The distillery is just around the corner and our tour guide was fun & engaging. Our group was small and the tour included the history, a tasting and cocktail making experience, finished with another free drink in their bar after the tour. Overall, such a fun experience! read more
A very nice stop to take in the Irish institution. We went with a simple tour. It was well organized but surprisingly busy on a weekday. Staff across the board were friendly and helpful. The food options largely shut down by 5 or 6. We were a bit surprised but ultimately it made good sense. The newer setup is pretty nice and the walking tour takes you up many floors. The gift shop is very extensive with some fairly priced option. Certainly a must when in Dublin. read more
You can't visit Dublin without a Tour of the Guinness Storehouse--they won't let you back on the plane to leave the country! This place is on 7 Floors--and you will visit each floor before you reach the 360 degree view Observation Deck Bar where they will serve you a free Guinness Pint with your admission. I told some people after my tour that they should go to the Bar on Top first and have the beer, then come back down and take the Tour because without a Beer the Tour is not that great--kind of boring. It's not a real factory tour like Coor's is in Golden, Colorado. It's a fake factory tour in a building that used to be the factory but set up for tours--the real factory is next door and you can't get in there. The highlight is the Bar on the 7th Floor and it was packed when we were there--no seats in a large double bar area. There are also restaurants on the 5th and 6th floor but I can't see the food here being that great because they only cater to tourists when the tour is open during the day. Go to a real restaurant in Dublin. I found the absolute best fitting Guinness Cap in the Gift Shop. In sum--this a major tourist trap--but if you have not been--you have to go at least one time to say you were there. Can't tell you the number of locals and tour guides that told us the Billions of Euros this place rakes in annually. Easy to walk to from much of Dublin and a required stop on all the On-Off Tour Busses. read more
I was pleasantly surprised this lives up to the hype. Very well designed self-guided tour, ending with drinking on top floor with a stunning 360° view of the city. For lunch we recommend the Smoked Salmon plate in the Brewers Dining Hall on floor 5. Served with 2 slices of delicious Guinness soda bread and several vegetable dishes. read more
It was a fun self tour of how Guinness Beer was made. Easy to understand for those not fully invested in beer process. At the end you do get a complimentary pint of Guinness. Wish they offered private tours with more details. Big and spacious and beautifully decorated for the holidays as well. Ticket distribution was quick and employees were friendly. I was super excited for the Guinness Storehouse experience but it was super disappointing. I preferred the Jameson tour which was guided and had more detail. The Guinness tour is very superficial and light on details. It is self-guided, which would be fine if the exhibits were more engaging and had more details. One of the first sections was the best: an area on barrel making (cooperage) that had a great video of someone making a barrel, good descriptions, and barrel-making tools on display. This section is what I wanted the whole tour to be like. Unfortunately, all of the other sections were more style than substance. There were some flashy but meh videos, a flashy but meh art installation, a very basic tasting experience. I liked seeing old Guinness factory equipment and historical Guinness advertising and promotional items, but these sections also didn't have much content or descriptions. The advertising section had tablets to show you video ads, but they were all broken; you could use them to navigate, but none of the videos actually played. Guys, you need better quality control. We booked the Guinness Academy Experience, "where a Guinness expert will teach you how to pour your own beautiful pint of Guinness." It was okay. Some people got private lessons and knowledgable instructors but we had to share our lesson with another group and our instructor was meh. I could get the same info from reading the instructions printed on the tap handle. All the printers were broken so we had to ask to get a certificate. We saw staff trying to fix them to no avail. All the upcharges for Souties and Academy are super tacky. The upstairs Gravity Bar sounds cool but is also weak in execution. They only serve two types of beer there which is super lame; there's only so much regular Guinness I want to drink, at least serve extra stout and a couple other types. The views are theoretically great, but the windows are lined with tables and people sitting down enjoying their pints (rightfully so), so if you actually want to look out the windows you have to awkwardly stand by them and peer over their heads. We didn't stay very long. This would be a 5 star experience if they added more detail, fixed obvious problems, and reduced admission prices. read more
This was actually my favorite attraction in all of Dublin, and I am not even a Guinness fan. It is basically a tour of a brewery. You will learn the history of the beer, with some information on how the company started and grew to what it is now. And at the end of the tour, you can visit their rooftop bar where you can get a pint of Guinness that is actually already included in he price of your admission. The facility is beautiful with a clear glass atrium in the middle of it all. The Guinness Storehouse is definitely a must see for visitors to Dublin. read more

I was actually a bit disappointed in this tour. I know it is a staple, which is the reason for 2 stars instead of 1, but it was very impersonal, and I felt very rushed. I do not recommend being the last tour of the night. Everything closes down as you're walking through it, and it really changes how the whole tour is. Even though they tell you to plan 90 minutes, I felt like we needed to get out of there within 30 to 45. The gravity bar is very cool, but the service was very short with us (we couldn't ask questions about the beers they had), and kind of rude. This was such a disappointment as we've had incredible experiences going to the distillery tours. I don't recommend this tour. read more

A visit to Dublin would not be complete without a visit to the Guinness factory. When you go, you will most likely get hungry from all the beer tasting and walking around. The Guinness storehouse is what they call the factory itself. It is a very interesting tour if you care about beer at all. Guinness continues to be a world class brand with insane marketing power. The Dublin airport should be named the Dublin /Guinness airport because of the aggressive advertising conducted there. The tour is a must if you are in Dublin. Go on the tour whatever you do in Dublin it should be on the top of that list of things to do there. read more

First floor you come to is meet and greet. Take selfies. Shop in their gift shop. 2nd floor starts self guided tour. It also has a cafeteria. 3rd floor has the tasting room and it tends to fill up. They will leave you in a queue until there is space. At some point, you just loose track. But there are like 7 floors. We did the academy tour. Which included pouring the perfect pint! Kat was our bartender. They were amazing and made us completely comfortable and cheered us on. There was no pressure but they found it funny how much stress we put on ourselves. You will find lots of interesting info here. And a must know, the original color of Guiness is Ruby Red. read more
This is a quintessential tourist attraction for Dublin and I gotta say, I wasn't disappointed. Very informative and honestly, just fun. I loved the fact that you can get your photo printed on the beer itself, I've never seen that before. The top floor has a giant bar with panoramic views of the city. Totally worth it! read more
This tour was AMAZING! This was the first ever beer tour I've ever done, and now my expectations are set high. First of, make sure to book online. We got the 11am on a Wednesday and sooo glad we did! It wasn't super busy and we didn't feel overwhelmed by people. When we left at 1pm, it was PACKED! We also got an Airbnb that was in walking distance, so we didn't have to worry about taxis or buses. The website said it would be about 90mins. We were there for almost 2 hrs. That is because there is a tasting room where they teach you how to drink Guinness and then the gravity bar is Just spectacular. The gravity bar is at the very top, where you have views of Dublin and seating areas. If you come here hungry, there are a few cafes and bistros on your way up. There are also elevators for those that need them. Every staff member was welcoming and friendly and you learn so much about the beer and it's history! read more

An absolute must visit if you're in Dublin. I walked here from my hotel (it's totally walkable from most anywhere in the city, get out and explore!) and picked up a ticket and tour upon arrival. I like that the tour is self led and you go at your own pace. There's a feeling that comes over you as you approach all of the surrounding streets and gates of Guinness, I can't quite explain it but there's an energy in the air and you know you're in Ireland. The space and floors dedicated to the tour are all very nice, I'd expect nothing less from Guinness. Concluding the tour with a fresh pint at Gravity Bar is really nice. I can see where this would be a really fun experience for large and small groups alike. I went solo and enjoyed every minute of it. Each area of the tour will leave you in awe, from the barley to hops and yeast, water, casks creation, transportation to advertising - this is a full tour that one will gain a thorough understanding of this company from. Now that I'm back in the states and St Patrick's Day is approaching I'm seeing large displays of Guinness in my local grocery stores and it's bringing back the fond moments of being here where the magic happens. Not sure a Guinness taste as great as it does in Ireland, so take a trip and have one here! I think I'll forever be entranced by the correct way to pour a Guinness on draught and the science behind the nitro bubbles, forming beautiful layers of creamy smoothness on the head. Very unique experience for a brewery visit - there was clearly a TON of effort put into the educational displays for the process of making the iconic Guinness beer. Learned a lot, appreciated the insight into the evolution of the brand, and enjoyed the tasting included in the ticket! I tried their non-alcoholic draft too and it was quite good! As others have mentioned, the tour takes you from ground story up to the viewing deck with a nice panorama of the city, but be prepared that it is quite crowded up there. Agree about calling this the "Guinness Experience" - more than just a tour! read more
