A fantastic selection of guitars and everything you need to get your music on.... Accept service! My sons want to learn to play the guitar. So we stopped in here to see what we needed and inquire about lessons. We wandered the store for a bit... they have a gigantic selection of guitars and all the accessories, but I have to say I knew very little about what it is we needed. We tried to get some help but at first could not find anyone free. We waited some more and the guy behind the counter was tied up with someone. Finally two guys came out of the back and one of them walked us through what we needed. He was quite knowledgeable as well as kind and patient with my boys. Once we had the equipment all figured out I wanted to know about lessons. There was a sign saying that they had them and to inquire. Our sales man said he really didn't know anything about the lessons and would have to get with his manager. The guy behind the counter. He left us to go and get with him. He came back and said the manager was busy and asked us to wait. We waited... and waited... and waited... Our sales man finally came back and said his manager was tied up and handed us a paper telling us about their lessons but it said nothing about cost or schedule. I asked and he suggested that I call in to the store on another day to get that information?!? The equipment we were looking to buy would have come to $1000 bucks... and all because we couldn't get a cost or schedule on lessons we walked out with nothing. I was ready to buy... but didn't want to do it with out a plan and knowing what all was involved in the lessons. So I said I would wait until I knew and we left. We left with the idea to check back another day but really I was unsure of their dedication to the lessons when I couldn't even get the simple cost for them. How hard could it be to get a price? Evidently it was hard! As much as I liked the location, our sales guy, and the equipment I am going to go and check out some other places now...

Great store, good help, and a good selection. They do have more than just guitars, lots of musical items in general.

This tactic has worked great and we have fun in the process. Admittedly, this has turned into a very expensive undertaking. My husband found Righteous Guitars on YouTube back in 2019. They featured a Mario Martin electric that he just HAD to have! Ever since, I've been dying to get him to the store in person. It seemed that every time we were passing near Roswell, it was the wrong day or time. Yesterday we finally made it! The store has a private, intimate feeling since the front doors are locked. The interior is breathtakingly beautiful and slightly visually overwhelming. I adore the artistic design and look of guitars and basses. This was a feast for the eyes and ears. Top notch service which was attentive and personalized. I lounged in the comfortable gliding chairs while my spouse spent a few hours trying various instruments. He fell in love with a Fender p bass but ultimately opted to wait. I have a feeling he'll be on the phone in a day or two placing an order. We will definitely be returning to Righteous Guitars and keeping an eye on their inventory. If you're a musician or guitar player, this place is a must-visit!

However, if you need to make a change to your billing information associated with lessons or music rentals, it cannot be done online, only over the phone. When you call, expect at least a 30-minute wait for "customer service". I finally called the store, and they were able to correct my billing information for lessons but not the rental. Then I had to spend another 30 minutes trying to get the instrument rental billing fixed. I finally just paid off the instrument balance so I wouldn't have to deal with them again. Finally, the way lessons are handled is a complete scam. Prior to the acquisition, if you needed to cancel a lesson in advance, you were not charged. Now you are charged regardless of when you cancel. You can "make up" the lessons, but this is nearly impossible during the summer when multiple weeks of lessons are being missed. The teacher doesn't have the flexibility to do that many make-ups. In short, it is a total scam. We will be looking for a new lesson location.

What makes it even more incredible is that she's coaching me at a time in my life when I am not at my best -- due to a serious illness that left me with long-term complications affecting my voice. I worked with other coaches when I was at my physical peak... and yet Tricia far surpasses them in every way. She just has that special je ne sais quoi. She's incredibly smart, intuitive, and dedicated -- and you can see all of that in her book, which is one of the most useful vocal guides I've ever read, no matter where you are in your vocal journey. Her Sing Like a Star method is scientific, empowering, and meets you exactly where you are. She helps you build from the inside out -- breath, tone, emotion, everything. I'm hitting notes I never thought I'd reach again. If you're on the fence, take the leap. Tricia is rare. She's the real deal.

I asked around inside my peer circle in the Grammy chapter and ironically no one could recommend a vocal coach. I was fortunate enough to find Tricia and SLaS through an internet search and was pleased that SLaS could work with me via Zoom since I'm thousands of miles away from Atlanta. It's easy to under appreciate (or not understand) how much a course and coach can help us gain control over vocal muscles, larynx position, breathing, and breath support so that we improve our craft and more fully develop our personal singing style. Just like any fine performing artist or serious athletic endeavor, improvement in ability to sing isn't magic. It requires training (WITH EXERCISES), coaching, guidance, and feedback. SLaS and Tricia does all of these things via a very well thought out course that is designed to work on the common issues male and female vocalists arrive with at their doors (or in my case Zoom camera). I've gone from being/believing I'm a baritone only singer always wishing I had a wider ranger to be more versatile to HAVING a much wider range AND at the same time a far more POWERFUL and stable singing voice. I hardly recognize my new voice!...but I am sure loving it and can't wait to see what the next months hold as Tricia continues to guide and coach me to new places. When I think of vocalists I've worked with in the studio environment, almost all of them could have used the help SLAS provides; including one who came to the studio with her personal vocal coach!! Kudos to everyone who worked to put the SLAS training together and to Tricia who is helping those willing to work and put in the time to be much better vocalists and performers then they were before signing on with SLaS.
