When I ordered I had to remind them I wanted to add my rewards number. They got my order right. I did order an unwich (lettuce wrap). Luckily I was going home to eat and not eating in my car the wrap was very loose which made it messy to eat. They just need some practice. I even have a hard time getting them wrapped tight. We walked in and we're promptly seated. The menu was huge. The chips and salsa were delicious. I ask to try the tomatillos Sauce, it was very tasty and had a kick to it, made my nose run. We decided to split the shrimp tacos. They were huge with lots of cilantro, avocado, and what tasted almost like Yum Yum sauce when you bid into it it had a smoky flavor. It took my suggestion on this trip for me to actually try it and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere and lengthy menu reminded me of New Jersey diner. The menu was so extensive, I completely missed one whole page of breakfast foods. They had everything with the exception of bagels. Portions are huge. They were so big, I could not finish my meal. Two could eat comfortably with the sizes of the dishes they brought out. Grits were a nice texture, not runny or pasty and yes, they serve grits this far north. I would estimate that they serve about 2-3 measuring cups worth in a cereal bowl. My three egg omelet was fine. The vegetables and ham were mixed in with the egg, which was cooked just fine. Pancakes are their signature dish and I really enjoyed these, except they were too big. Two fluffy pancakes stacked together just about covered a dinner plate. Too often pancakes are floppy or overcooked. These were perfect. I would have liked the option for real maple syrup, though. Our server was "Joanie on the Spot" and she never let the coffee cup go below half full. In addition to being prompt, she was friendly and knowledgeable about the food.

Prices are very fair. They make their own soups on site daily, generally 2 different soups. Growing up in NJ with diners in nearly every community it's great that Mooresville has a restaurant/diner here.
