Absolutely fantastic smash burger!! I got a double with cheese and that's exactly what it was, which was perfect for me since I'm pretty basic with what toppings I want on my burger. There are lots of different options now and the price point is exceptional for the quality and quantity. You can also order online for pick up, which is what I did and it went very smooth. It's cozy and fun inside with limited seating so I took mine to go but I liked how they decorated with the mural and made it look very local. The fries were just ok. I would skip those; but there are some other sides I'd like to try in the future like fried pickles.

    incorrect burger.

Usually love this place, great burger. But I went in today & ordered a plain double with cheese & got all the way home to see it was loaded with everything under the sun on it. I was patient, tipped because they seemed a little understaffed, but still got the incorrect order. Kid behind the register was so clearly stoned out of his mind he couldn't form any sentences. Tough customer service so far.

This little restaurant has a private parking lot that it shares with the other businesses in the strip mall that it is located. The outside of the restaurant is non-descript and you can easily pass it up. It is right next to the Dollar General. They have a very small dining area with music playing throughout. They have a very simple menu that features standard smash burgers. They also have hotdogs, fries and chicken fritters. I ordered a double classic burger with fries. The woman working the counter was very friendly and helpful. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for them to prepare my food, as it is made fresh. My burger was fresh, tasty and so good. The fries were really good too. I was thinking about that meal days after I had eaten it. I will give you a tip. The burgers can get a bit sloppy, but as I mentioned, they are so, so good. I really enjoyed my meal there. I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed.

***LEGIT BURGERS*** If you're into locally owned, hippy vibe burger joints, the The Burger Poet is for you. The restaurant is small so you may have to eat outside or get it to go. The menu consists of burgers and dogs. The burgers are cooked fresh to order with an amazing House Sauce. The burgers are cooked to perfection with crispy edges. The buns are perfectly toasted. Did I mention the fries? These fries do not need ketchup. The seasoning was perfect. We all had burgers, but they also offer a BLT and Egg Salad that I HAVE to try.

Second visit and it was maybe even better than the first time. 10/10 Pictures may not give best representation... I did carry out back to my house in Whiteland. -Double Classic Burger - no tomato, no pickles -Chili Cheese Fries Note- I loved the chili cheese fries and I'm not really a chili guy, and I liked the chili. Maybe a tad too spicy for my taste but I also cannot take spice well. Still loved the chili cheese fries I'm going to try the dessert next time.

Amazing burgers! A single is enough for me. Love the fires too, seasoned well. Make sure to order a side of their house sauce for dipping. The coney dog was just ok. The coney sauce is different than expected but my hubby enjoyed. There is usually a 10-15 min wait but it's so worth it.

Had this on my list as I had seen great reviews in the city chat. We stopped in just after noon on a Friday and it was busy. There are a few tables and some stool seats along the wall. We ordered burgers, chili cheese dogs, and fries. The burger was good and flavorful but a little pink for my liking. Fries were crisp and I liked the toppings. The hotdog wasn't good. It was tough / overcooked and the chili had a strange flavor that I couldn't quite figure out. Slightly sweet? May come back for another try at a less busy time.

I don't normally like smashburgers but i enjoyed this one. I also got the chili cheese fries which were really good but they were spicy for anyone who can't handle any type of spice. I would recommend everyone to support this little business as it isn't corporate owned and it is women owned.

The loaded fries blew me away. It reminded me of the flavors on a Big Mac but 100x better. The house sauce is fantastic.

The dessert and pastries selections seemed less here than other locations but then a lot of places are opting for cookies more because they probably have a longer shelf life. I went with the Pick 2 after I spotted a new hot sandwich called the Ciabatta Cheesesteak. The sandwich consisted of steak, provolone, garlic aioli, caramelized onions, and peppadew peppers on a ciabatta. The sandwich was good however it was a tad soggy on the bottom from too much of something. I also got a cup of their Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup which I've had many times before and I like it. The restroom was clean and stocked. Parking was plentiful right in front of their front door.

I ordered a grilled cheese along with a sugar pie slice and a London fog. They have other baked good options which looked good too. The grilled cheese was very small and I think cheese got into the pan because it was also cooked onto the bottom side of the sandwich. It was a very small grilled cheese. The London fog tasted quite strong and the sugar pie didn't really stand out. There were other items on the menu though that I'd love to try if I ever go back. What I think took this down to 3 stars was the service. When I went to order, I was just stared at and I thought maybe they weren't ready for me yet but they were. There was just no greeting of "Hi, welcome in" or even a "What can I get for you?" It was just a stare and silence. Now the staff were not unkind...they certainly seemed friendly but that lack of greeting didn't feel great. Additionally, they were very quiet or mumbled when calling out orders and so it seemed like many people listening never heard their order including me. I also had to ask again for the pie after having paid. I bought a bandana as well and didn't see the price tag. When I asked how much it was the staff member said it was either 12 or 15 dollars. She rang it up as 15 when later I saw the price tag and it clearly said $12. I showed the staff member and she said it was $15 and it was a handwriting issue for the price tag. I rarely write reviews less than five stars but I do think if there could be a bit more initiative from the staff and orders called out more clearly and louder for drinks so they don't spoil that would really help.
