The atmosphere here is immaculate. They normally have 50s-60s music playing and the decor is amazing. The food is also very good and fresh. Its probably the best retro diner I've been to. I highly recommend

Looking for a fun vibe? Knuckle Sandwich is the place! Tons of memorabilia on the walls and TV sets showing old shows like Gomer Pyle. Music on the jukebox has you singing along without even realizing it. After reading other yelp reviews, we decided to share the hubcap tenderloin. It was fully loaded with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles and a huge beautiful bun. The tenderloin was hand pounded and was a little thin for my taste but it was still delicious. The fries were hot and crispy, a welcome change from cold or soggy fries. I also ordered a milkshake which was served in the metal cup. Other tables had great looking salads and burgers so we will be back. FYI cash prices are listed on the menu, a 3.5% of charge for credit card usage.

Very good food and really large portions. The service was good. Cute decor. We had a 12 year old boy with a bottomless appetite but after the large hot dog and huge banana split-- he was full!

Love the atmosphere of walking in to the cool decor Our waitress was helpful with suggestions on what to order. She was on top of our needs. My huge tenderloin was seasoned and battered perfectly. The bun was also amazing as you can see it almost covered the tenderloin. I cut that in half which gave me 2 meals. Can't wait to go back. We were to full to try dessert but the milkshake and sundae looked mouthwatering

This is a new and neat little diner in Bargersville. They have an adequate parking lot that they share with the other businesses in the strip mall that it is located. The diner is a 50s/60s themed restaurant and has a ton of neat and nostalgic decorations. They have classic music playing outside and neat booth inside that is the shape of an old red Corvette. I think seating in that special booth is reserved for those crazy enough to try their food challenge that consists of eating 2-one pound burgers and 2 pounds of french fries. That seems easy enough, huh. They have a couple of televisions in the corners in the restaurant to watch, but they are not easy to view, or at least from where I was seated. The place was slammed packed when I was there. And this was the middle of the day. I had to wait 30 minutes. They just take your name and phone number, then call you when your table is ready. The staff there was awesome, even given how busy they were. They were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The diner serves your typical diner food including burgers, fried chicken, fish, tenderloins, pizza, soups, salads, and breakfast food. I ordered the Big Booper BLT with a side of fries. It did not disappoint. It took only about 7 minutes for them to prepare and it was fresh, hot and tasty. As advertised, it was loaded with bacon. I highly recommend it. This is an awesome joint that deserves all of the hype that it gets and then some. It has a cool Fonzie type of vibe. It is just missing the bar seating. I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed.

After seeing people talk about this place reopening we were driving by and decided to stop in and give it try. It's a cute little 50s themed restaurant with 50s music playing. We got got seated promptly and everything came out super fast. The sweet tea is really good We got the half and half appetizer which is onion rings and breaded mushrooms. They were just ok nothing spectacular and the portion was small for 11.99 Hubby ordered the 57 Chevy which is a very large burger however it was dry and lacked flavor. The only flavor was the pepper jack cheese. I ordered the Ruben and the meat was chewy and fatty. The rest of the sandwich was pretty good. The fries were the best part. The menu prices are cash and debit prices. Credit cards they will add an additional 3% of your total bill. I can't honestly say I'll come back. Maybe to try their breakfast which is served til 11am daily.

After having to close a couple of years ago for the new interchange at I-69 and Hwy 144, the Knuckle Sandwich has reopened in a new location. Their theme is still the same, a 50s & 60s diner. All new retro furniture including parts of two cars, a Chevy and a Mustang, makes the interior absolutely pop. Their reputation has never dwindled. I've been hearing of one hour wait times this week. I tried to get a table yesterday and it was too crowded for me at noon. So I came today for their 10:30 opening time. Twenty people were lined up to get a table before the doors opened. I ordered my old favorite, the Philly Cheesesteak with fries and was not disappointed. It is a big sandwich on fresh bread with lots of steak and cheese. The fries are the battered style and good. They still have The Challenge where if you eat two fully dressed one pound burgers and two lbs of fries in 45 mins, it's all free and you get a T-shirt, your photo on the Wall of Fame and a trophy. Several people were on the old Wall of Fame but this wall is blank and waiting for you ;-) They still show 50s and 60s movies and TV shows on their screens. There is plenty of parking in the shared lot for the strip shopping center. Sorry I didn't get any menu photos, maybe someone else can post them. Welcome Back Knuckle!

A southside institution! I had not been since they moved to the new location in Bargersville, and I was nervous that it would be lacking the nostalgic factor I remembered. I needn't have worried. Everything is still amazing! From the decor, to the music, the amazing and attentive waitstaff, to the exquisite food...a truly superb dining experience.

Great place for a fun meal. Loved the vibes, food was very good, especially the chocolate milk shake. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because we sharthe 57 burger and it was super salty in places. I'm assuming this was a mistake. We will definitely be back, I just plan on ordering something else, which there is plenty to choose from!

Our server was unfriendly AND surly. The food was ALMOST marginal. The decor was the only item worthy of note. Waste of time and money.

The place is loud but with a great positive energy. People are small-town friendly and talk between tables as they enjoy their biscuits and gravy. We cajoled with two regulars who told funny stories. Our server, Gill, was quick to the table and friendly. He checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. The menu is a mix of traditional breakfast options, sandwiches, salads and wraps. Prices are reasonable. Food came out quickly. My husband ordered their hand breaded tenderloin with fries. The tenderloin was massive with a great browned breading, served on a Kaiser roll. The pork was tender and juicy. It was a perfect tenderloin, worthy of the Indiana Tenderloin Trail. The hand-cut fries are lightly breaded, crispy and hot. There was an up-charge for the fries, but they were so good and worth it. It was rainy outside, so I had a bowl of the daily soup - broccoli cheddar. The soup was hot, thick, creamy with lots of broccoli and cheese and stuck to my ribs. My soup was served with packs of saltines. Free street parking is available if you're lucky to grab a spot. Well worth the drive to Franklin. Ps. They are closed Saturday and Sunday!
