I first called one Saturday morning last year with a potential emergency and he not only returned my call quickly, on the weekend, but explained things over the phone and was reassuring and knowledgeable. I knew then that I would be using his help for our future plumbing projects, and I truly couldn't be any happier with the work he completed today. It's not even 2 PM and he has finished three different plumbing jobs for me, even though one of them was major and involved cutting into tile (which many plumbers won't even attempt). My water is back up and running and I have a new shower valve, a new faucet, and a new anode rod on my hot water heater. All in less than six hours work. Ray's confidence and expertise with any job no matter how big or small is a true testament to his skill as a professional. And even though he gave me a head's up to move stuff out of the bathroom because the job could be messy, he still left an extremely clean work area in my opinion despite having to cut into the wall and tile. There are a lot of plumbers in Marin, but most don't work on weekends, or they are large companies with spotty records. So I was happy to discover Ray's Rescue plumbing. Ray is a great guy - careful, conscientious, and fast. When our hot water heater died on a Saturday morning, he arrived within an hour, explained the options, and had us up-and-running with hot water by the afternoon. He worked hard and did the job right. There may have been others who would have been cheaper, but we felt like we got good value for our money -- the job is well done, and we are confident we won't have more problems. These guys are the best. Did a partial home repipe of both the water and drain pipes. Other plumbers tried to upsell us by replacing newer pipes and the water heater.
