Gupta Orthodontics is the best Orthodontic clinic in DFW Hands down from clinic ambience, services and to all the staff. Dr. Deepak was also the Orthodontist of my sister and nephew. He is very knowledgeable and skilled in his craft. And he is legitimately Board Certified Orthodontist rest assured. Bedside manner is most awesome. He makes sure he takes time checking on his patients and he listens to their needs/request that's for sure. I was referred here by my dentist after three failed attempts to install a lingual bar after completing Invisalign. I cannot stop smiling!!! From consultation to my final visit Dr. Gupta and his team always greeted me with a warm welcome. I had recently had a traumatic dental experience prior to needing orthodontic treatment (which made me a hypersensitive patient) and I appreciate his kindness. UPDATE: Dr. Deepak Gupta has spoken with me about my review and apologized for the outcome of my consultation. It's really great to see my review be taken in consideration. It truly shows that this office really cares for anyone that comes visit regardless if they are potential patients looking for consultation or loyal existing patients. I appreciate the call and more so clarity to the situation from their point of view. Dr. Deepak Gupta is whom handled my free consultation. He asked me what my goal was and then from there it was a blunt conversation of how my teeth looked like. He made sure to say he wasn't saying my previous braces work was done horribly, he said my jaw and growing up made my teeth the way it is now. He followed up saying the best way to fix the issue completely is jaw surgery. He mentioned he can straight my teeth but will still have an angled over bite. I asked for more clarity on angled over bite because wasn't sure what that would look like. He looked at me as if I asked a ridiculous question and told me they can show me with visual simulation scan. I am sensitive and started tearing up a bit, I never had a good experience in past going to orthodontist. I apologized for being sensitive (even though I didn't need as the customer) and he said it's fine and kept going on with what my options are. He didn't hand me any tissues or give me any empathy. I think that was where I knew even the friendly persona of the office doesn't mean everyone will be friendly to you as the customer. His staff, Michelle, up front was friendly. Didn't interact much with her since wait time was real quick. Julie was the person who did all my X-rays. She talked more with coworkers than me. I tried sharing my past horrible experience at last orthodontist with her and she seemed uninterested. Someone else handled my screening for simulation, I was tearing up a bit in chair still (as this happened after speaking with Dr. Gupta) and she didn't seem to notice or say anything. Business as usual. There were only two people in the office that truly showed some empathy for my emotions. It was an assistant (wish I got her name, she was the sweetest, I believe it was Cynthia or Sarah) and Dr. Vick Gupta. She took a quick pause from her patient next to me and brought me tissues on the side unexpectedly as I sat there sniffling and waited to hear about simulation scan results. Then Dr. Vick Gupta was making his rounds and decided to look at my chart then asked me if I was alright. I told him I'm ok and dried my tears. He said he was sorry and said nobody in the office wants to make me feel bad at all by any means. I had initially come to Dr. Gupta for a consultation for my daughter. We had gone to another orthodontist for a consultation and their office suggested having multiple teeth extracted, going to a surgeon and a very invasive and long extended approach. It's been a bit of time (years) since I had my treatment here so I've had time to fairly assess. The pros: Dr. Gupta was always very welcoming and professional. I enjoyed going to his office for my Invisalign treatment/checkups. The cons: my teeth weren't exactly straight at the end of my treatment. They had improved a lot but were nowhere near the perfect straight that nearly everyone I know who has gotten braces has. I pointed this out in our last checkup and questioned whether I should continue treatment beyond the planned amount. I was pushing for doing so, and I still believe that would have been the right move. Dr. Gupta seemed a bit eager to be done with my treatment and reassured me somehow that I don't need more treatment. He basically said my teeth just don't look that straight because one of the teeth on one side was worn down and not on the other, from years of crooked teeth. While that did make the teeth look more crooked than they were, even despite that, they are not close to perfectly straight. The more time that passes, the more buyer's remorse I have. I think I'm probably an edge case here since most other patients seem to have great results. Had to put this out there. I'll probably have to get Invisalign or braces again to be happy with my teeth :/ read more

He is a Harvard grad and board certified in ortho (only 1/4 of orthodontist are board certified), the odds of that around here are pretty minimal and couple that with his extremely efficient and professional practice management, you'd be crazy to go anywhere else. I work in healthcare auditing and consulting so I know what to look for and did a lot of research. Save yourself the trouble, I'm very type A and conducted thorough analysis of the competition. so when I went in for my consult with Dr.Gupta, I knew that this was hands down the best ortho and practice. I had enough of my rabbit teeth (see picture) and wanted to change that, I know getting braces as a female single adult is probably not everyones' default (I had option of Invisalign) but I deferred to Dr.Guptas recommendation and approximately 5 months later.. miss rabbit teeth has a perfect smile. They have a great consultation setup, payment plans, and great follow up procedure. After going through orthodontics as a kid, and then not wearing my retainer, my teeth had shifted, and I decided to pursue Invisalign as an adult. Yelp reviews led me to Gupta Orthodontics, which I began in mid/late 2017. During my treatment, I moved back to Austin. Dr. Gupta's office was extremely accommodating with rescheduling appointments, and making it work to finish out my treatment, which was much appreciated. Because I did Invisalign, I didn't have too many office experiences really, but I always found the office to be incredibly clean, welcoming, friendly, and efficient. At the end of my treatment, they took impressions to get retainers made. When the retainers came back, they didn't fit at all. The person assisting me kept encouraging me to just "push harder" to fit the retainers. I finally refused to keep trying, and requested to wait until Dr. Gupta could take a look. When he took a look, he agreed they didn't fit correctly, and we would do another Invisalign scan, and send off for the retainers. I went home with the retainer that fit "the best" in the meantime. Recently I revisited the office to pick up my new retainers. The difference in quality was almost funny. They fit perfectly and are much more comfortable / less bulky. I was incredibly disappointed that 1) this had not been the first option pursued, and 2) these options were not communicated to me. Had the first round of retainers fit, I would just have those, and wouldn't have known anything different. So, if you're having Invisalign treatment, I would personally recommend asking more questions about the retainer options. I'm pretty glad it worked out this way, but I didn't even know to ask. This is one of the most cutting edge, accommodating Orthodontic offices I have ever visited. I recently moved from CA to TX and was in the middle of my Invisalign treatment with a well known, highly rated orthodontist in Redwood Shores. I was hesitant to have to change my doctor, but after I visited Gupta Orthodontics, I took the leap and am so glad I did! 1. The office: Dr. Gupta's office is extremely modern, clean and accommodating to his patients (pictures attached). They have a state of the art coffee machine that spits out almost every starbucks coffee drink you can think of, and every time I visit, there are cookies and snacks set out as a token of his appreciation to his patients. Most recently, Dr. Gupta had kings' cakes set out to celebrate Mardi Gras! And when you start your treatment, you get a travel bag full of dental goodies - see pics. 2. The technology: Moving from my ortho in CA to Dr. Gupta, we decided to go on a new course of treatment which meant getting my current attachments removed and getting new trays. Unlike the ortho I last went to, I didn't have to have impressions made (which means putting a glob of nasty clay in your mouth and having someone's fingers all inside your mouth pressing down on the clay to create molds of your teeth - an uncomfortable, slobbery mess). Instead, Dr. Gupta has a scanning device (http://www.itero.com/products) that takes 3D photos of your teeth so that you get a more precise fit for your Invisalign trays without all the mess. It also recreates an image on a monitor so you can see exactly what your teeth look like! At each of the stations where he does procedures, there are separate Mac monitors so he can show you what your progress is like on the screen, or make you watch informational videos on how to wear/take care of your invisalign trays/braces throughout your treatment. Dr. Gupta also offers the Acceledent device (http://acceledent.com/) that cuts your treatment time in half, which I've never even HEARD of until I visited his office. Cutting edge! I'll take one of those! 3. The staff: Dr. Gupta's staff are super customer-service oriented and are extremely friendly. My initial call was promptly returned, and an appointment with the office was quick and painless to schedule. His office is generously staffed so waits are never long, and you can effectively move from consultation to teeth scanning to procedures to finance easily as he has separate rooms for separate functions. I've never had a bad experience with any one member of his staff and am very happy with the service I receive every time I visit. 4. The Doctor: Dr. Gupta is THE BEST! He is really easy going, honest, personable, professional and happy-go-lucky. When I first visited, I was in a rush and being sort of short, and he worked with me and was super patient. I always get the attention I need and never feel rushed out of the chair like you do at other busy offices. Every question I have is always answered, no matter how ridiculous. I also have way more confidence in Dr. Gupta than my last doctor because after he reviewed the then-current treatment I was on, he immediately saw gaps and started me on a new set of trays for a treatment he prescribed himself, rather than being lazy and keeping me on the current treatment where I was on my way to getting an UNDERBITE. I now have rubber bands and WON'T have an underbite, thanks to Dr. Gupta. I also noticed that the new attachments he put on me, compared to the last attachments I had, are much smaller and more discreet. We are even thinking about putting rhinestones on my teeth as an attachment! Isn't that cool?? (A girl can dream). The short of it is I highly recommend Dr. Gupta's practice if you are thinking about getting any sort of orthodontic treatment for yourself or your family members. Dr. Gupta came with a high recommendation from my dentist of ten years, Dr. Kozlow.
