I had been having an issue with one tooth for about a year. Two different dentists weren't too concerned about it even though I complained about sensitivity to hot. Later, I learned this is a sign of infection. It wasn't until Memorial Day weekend that the pain got so bad, I couldn't even function. Long story short, I was in excruciating pain on Memorial Day vacationing at a friend's house in Plano. It was a holiday, but he took a chance and called his dentist, Dr. Suh. They were open! And they could squeeze me in because of the emergency. After diagnosing me with an infection, performing a root canal, and replacing my crown all in one day on a whim, I am forever grateful to his office. I have never been in that much pain in my life; they were patient with me the whole way through. I travel 1.5 hours to visit him for cleanings to this day. I never liked going to dentist and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. Sadly, I had to when my implant came loose few weeks ago. I could have gone to same doctor who had done my implant 3yrs ago, but I felt a bit skeptical because my experience there wasn't pleasant. The loose implant starts to get really uncomfortable after few days and my sister in-law recommended me about D' Art Dental. I was surprised when Dr. Suh diagnosed immediately what was wrong and what need to be done. It happens to be the screw that needs to be replaced. He ordered the screw and was able to correct the issue few days later. He also pointed out few other problems that I was aware of and informed me what could happen but never pushed me. My visit to D'Art dental has been the best dentist appointment I've ever had! Really everyone is so nice and patient. They have updated technology that makes even a dental appointment fun. Even better than that is that they take their time to explain what they have found after your Xrays, while they show you pictures of your teeth. They also take their time to clearly explain what your insurance will cover. Their work is awesome they are patient and very careful. I've usually had dentists that even when trying to be careful will be pushy and invasive but this was nothing like that. To top it off it really seems like they know their patients. Over the last several years, I have had several partial dentures with other dentists, but none of them worked well for me. I decided I wanted full dentures, and was fortunate to find Dr. Suh. He was very professional and caring, and also very gentle. He communicated with me throughout the process and did a great job with my dentures. I have had cavities filled and also crowns made at this dentist office. Everyone is very professional and all treatments were carefully explained to me. I liked that my x-rays were shown to me on a big computer screen to help me understand my options for treatment. All of the equipment is very modern. Sherry in the front office is so friendly and works hard to accommodate my schedule and my comfort. I have never had to wait more than five minutes to be seen and all of the office staff are very attentive, caring, and always smiling. I was referred to Dr. Suh's office by my husband. Like others, I don't enjoy going into the dental office. But I had a severe pain for about four days and it got worse as the day passed, so I decided to visit the dentist. They had all the high tech machines and systems that showed how bad my teeth were. I have been going to D'Art Dental for a couple of years now. I love it. How often do you say that about the dentist? Dr. Suh is so incredibly polite. The office always seems to be upgrading the equipment, so it's state of the art. I went in once in a lot of pain with a tooth that had been discolored my whole life. Turns out it was infected, and threatening the health of the teeth around it. Dr. Suh spent a long time trying to save the tooth, but in the end it had to come out. I recently relocated to Dallas from Houston, and I randomly went to this clinical for cleaning and some other treatments. Dr. Lee personally did the six month cleaning, and it was the best cleaning I ever got in recent 10 years. He did some fillings for me as well, and he does take time to explain and do thorough job. Everyone is nice and corteous and treats you like a family!Their equipments are very modern.They will tell you what work needs to be done on your teeth but they will not push you to have everything fix instead they will give you good options and advise.
