I decided to update my previous review. This update is one instead of three because not only her…read morelack of communication not just one time but multiple times. Her charge of 35% that she charged me that she should not have and then refunded it almost immediately when I called her out on it because she knew she should have charged me and she did. But now when I asked her to refund deposit I paid she not only has not communicated but her lack of communication from the beginning and the fact that she is fighting me on the $25 deposit. I only canceled because of her lack of communication. If she had an issue refunding it to me, then she should've communicated, but I didn't get any messages unless they got lost in La La Land. But from the beginning, I had to message her multiple times to even get a response which should've been a red flag to begin with, but I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and now I know why I should not have. So yes, I am still giving her a lower updated review score because she is now fighting me on that $25 deposit that I was requesting back.

Chelsea was very nice and walked me through the procedure. She explained the rules of not getting my lashes wet for 48 hours. When it was initially completed, it looked ok, although one eye's lashes were way higher than the other. Chelsea explained it would even out and that she guarantees her work 100%. She said she would follow up with me. After 2-3 days my lashes were straight again. I texted Chelsea the following week to let her know. She said that this has never happened before and I must have gotten them wet. I let her know I was very careful and only used make up wipes to clean my face and not get my lashes wet. I work from home so I had no need to apply makeup. She said that she would redo them. When I went in to have them redone, she wasn't as nice as the first time. Barely said 2 words to me. Again, I went home and followed the after care instructions. Again, my lashes straightened out within a few days. I texted Chelsea to let her know and also sent pictures. She was very rude and blamed me for them straightening out. She said that I am not a good candidate for it since my eyelids are oily! Ummm there was never any discussion about being a 'candidate' for this. Yet she claimed it was my fault for having oily eyelids and the procedure was fine. Ughhh really, so unprofessional!! She also said that she will not refund me and she already did them a second time so that's that. I explained the product was still not what was advertised. It doesn't make sense that doing them a second time was enough even though they still didn't come out as advertised. It was $180, I expect results! It's like being issued a broken item and you return it and it's replaced with another broken item. It's still broken! Issuing two broken items doesn't make it right. Since she wouldn't provide a refund, I contacted the Ricadonna salon. I explained what happened. The receptionist said she would call back and she never did. I called again and they said no, they will not guarantee services at their salon. This was very disappointing considering I have been going there for years for my hair without any problems. It's not worth it!! $180 down the drain with terrible customer service!!! Beware, it is not guaranteed.

Switching hair stylists is nerve wracking and the prices have gone up so I was hesitant but Amanda was understandable and gave me a very reasonable price so I decided to go with her, plus she has years of experience. I've had my lashes done lots of times elsewhere and have never had an issue. I told her in the beginning that the placing of the tape felt weird and was digging into the corner of my eyes. I have been getting my lashes done with her for well over a year now and always happy with her services! She listens when I share my need to change lash length and volume. I noticed that my first few visits with her trying to find the shape/size that works best. She is flexible with her schedule when we are running late and I have accommodated flexibilities as well. I know I have been late to appointments. When she has a cancellation or finishes earlier than expected, she will let the next client know in case we can come earlier. It's a give and take that has worked out very well for me. If you're looking for a lash tech/artist in the Murrieta area, I highly recommend Amanda! Her price is very reasonable!! I think it should be higher so I tip in that manner, and she will only raise the prices when product expenses go up. She is located just off of Jefferson in a business complex.
