Today was the 1st ever visit to Gus & Bucky's Car wash and I wanted to share my experience. I schedule my "Hand Wash" service 1 week in advance. (They do offer reg wash, no appointment ness). I was greeted by a friendly staff as they instructed me where to park. Then I was greeted by Jonathan and Tim who explained to me in detail the process of the service which made me feel very comfortable. The service took about 35 min and afterwards Jonathan performed a full walk through with me and went over every inch of my car in detail. I have to say I was very impressed by his professionalism and his eagle eye. I was extremely pleased with the results. The car was shiny with no smudges. The rims were cleaned and almost look factory new. The windows were clean & crystal clear and lastly, the inside looked amazing. I have a black car, and if your a black car owner, you know how difficult it could be to keep it mirror finish clean. I highly recommend bringing your car here for a high end car wash and in-depth detail work. I will be back in the early spring for some customs work as well. Thanks again guys! read more

Brought my car in this morning for a basic clean. That includes an outside wash and interior clean. They charged $28 with tax + $2 tip = $30. They wiped down the inside okay, but missed a few spots. The outside of my car had some dirt still on it around the top back. For the price I would hoped for a bit more care. All and all I would go back if I didn't have the time to do it myself. But I probably won't. read more

I live on a dirt road and hence the cars don't stay clean beyond the first trip back from the car wash. Therefore I don't wash cars too often and this car was filthy. I took my Audi Q7 to Gus & Bucky's last Monday and asked for the exterior/interior cleaning (I even had three dollars left on an old G&B debit card). The line was short, only four cars ahead (I sometimes drive by on weekends...the line is a different story :) ) They did an excellent job and to my enormous pleasant surprise, the finishing crew had pulled-up the third row seats and cleaned around the seats...I've never even used the third row and I forget that it's even there. Likewise, no-one has ever cleaned those seats either ! G&B is not the cheapest place around (if you want cheap, get a bucket and sponge ready)...but certainly worth the money. read more

Horrible service! I paid for interior and exterior (i.e. Bucky's wash, which includes both). I didn't notice any interior work! Might as well have done nothing. And the exterior wash did not even clean minor spots on the exterior of a new vehicle. I would go someplace else where workers do their job, at least try and care a little. read more

Hate it or love it... I really wanted to love it. Great location, attractive drive up experience. Then it became another experience... Unfriendly reception.... A heads up, I asked about having my floor mats cleaned and was told that required an appointment (ok, I rolled with that... I figured I'd plan ahead next time) The price was higher than I expected, but I thought because it's Bedminster, the quality must be Higher.... I was surprised with a car that was not fully dried off with some dirty spots on the outside and inside some dusty spots not wiped down. I have our cars detailed Spring and Fall. Based on this location's regular wash service, I won't risk paying them to detail our cars. Wished it had lived up to its curb appeal. read more

I don't mind the prices. You expect them in the area, but lose the attitude and improve the service. I shouldn't wait 20 minutes when there is only one car in front of me. Slow service. Rude employees. Subpar quality. The only good thing they have going for them is that they are the only one around. read more

For the money they charge everything should be stellar, however that is not the case. Windows are always an issue, they have the use of air hoses and I still have drips. The employees seem more interested in chatting with each other than paying attention to the job at hand. It's a same because they are located in an area that most convenient to those of us in the hills. I would rather go to Somerville and pay $6 and bring the car home and finish it off myself! read more

I don't mind their pricing but I do mind about the poor and slow service ; poor quality of work done; never knows if they are open or not on any particular day. Perhaps the fact that there is only one car wash nearby the entire The Hills development means they still continue get business from people. I much rather drive to some other towns for car wash instead of going to this place which is only less than 2 mins drive from home. read more

This place took hell-knows-what out of my boyfriend's car. He dropped it off in the morning on his way to work and by 430pm, his car was sparkling - the guy whom handles all detail work deserves a raise, a bonus, and a pat on the back. A few weeks ago, my guy transported a few of my old garden pots (not realizing there was dirt in them... which got sloshed around in the trunk of his car. A few days later, on our trip to his parents for Easter, he took a sharp turn and the scalloped potatoes went EVERYWHERE. The poor man at the detail shop had to literally take apart parts of the trunk to get it all... but returned it to all its glory. I dont care what the price was - getting the smell of dirt, milk, and cheese-potatoes out of the car before the summer season hits was well worth it. read more

Absolutely game changing car wash, in and out, employees are just a delight, they have like an entire pit crew just churning out cars in mint condition, all the things I wanted to do to clean my car, they did. Pre Wash and Post Wash are terrific. Conscientious, diligent and appreciative. The Manager, has an angry demeanor. Best time to go there is mid week, mid morning....the "angry man" does not have to work so hard and maybe that manager feels he needs a "game face", but the business does nice work, seem to enjoy working there, so maybe angry demeanor makes it all work so well. What do I know, I hate washing my own car, thankless endeavor for me when I can drive through a time warping reminder of my childhood wonder from watching my father's 1962 Chevy Impala get wax from Poland! I've been here several times so far for basic interior and exterior washes. Each time I was very pleased. They are quick, efficient, kind, and hard working. Initially I avoided coming here because it was my understanding that the least expensive wash available was around $17. This is not the case. Terrible!!! First time in 5 years. Now I know why I had not been there. Paid for the most expensive car wash. The Range Rover in front of me received special attention with all these sprays. Me. Nothing!!! The guys vacuumed my minivan in less than a minute. Then at the end, they dried my car quickly. They said you're done. So I had two REALLY BAD experiences here. 1 - I saw a brand new Volvo totalled as the worker driving out of the tunnel gassed a jeep in a Parker volvo and sent the Volvo into a tree and 2 - I saw a young kids finger get chopped off when waiting for my car to be dry and the kid was drying the wheels when the amigo got in avarice forward catching his finger and lopping it off. After giving this place my business for several years, today will be the last time. The quality of the service has diminished dramatically while they remain the highest priced game around. But, here's the real reason I will no longer have my car washed here: The arrogance of the place borders on haughtiness. Went first time today for the Buck'y car wash (Car#574, SLSMN#3264) and regretted completely after the wash. After paying 17$ for the wash which had triple polish and clear cost with air freshner spray....believe me, nothing was done and I came out with just a plain car wash. The staff was very rude and not at all listening to my concerns. When I told them about it they saying your car is like that and go for detailing, pay 189$ and we will clean and wax the car....pathetic customer care and rude behaviour. When I said about air freshner spray they said, you dodn' have one...awful. Am definitely not going there again and wanted to share my experience for everyone's benefit. Had just the outside washed and still had soap on sides of car and in the outside mirrors. Had to wipe down the car myself to get the soap spots off and to properly clean the back window. This place is now a total rip off. They raised their car wash w/interior vacuum by $13, it's now 28.84. They are trying to force you to by their monthly unlimited @ $40. Let me tell you this car wash is not worth nearly $30. Also, they only dry the driver's side properly, the passenger side looks like it was dried with a dirty rag & left big dirty steaks all along the passenger side along with a big mud droplet. I just had my car detailed @ audi 2 days ago but a plant spilled over in my car so I took it to Gus & Bucky's for a vacuum & figured an extra wash wouldn't hurt. What a mistake, one side of my car is clean & the other doesn't even look like it got washed. See my posted pics comparing the 2 sides.Definitely feel duped & ripped off. I will no longer be a customer after today's experience. Oh & they also left a big drop of white milky polish on the drivers side arm rest. Thanks a lot. read more

Gus and Bucky's offers quick service and reasonable prices for their car washes. My personal experience with G&B's is as follows: Most recently I ordered their top level wash (interior and exterior) for my utility vehicle. After the first pass, I had noticed some inconsistencies with what I had ordered and what was completed on the car. After bringing it to the attention of the owner, he happily re-directed his staff towards the areas of concern, which they proceeded to go above and beyond with. The delay was negligible and the service always remained friendly. The foreman even went as far as asking me if the job was done to my satisfaction, and if there was anything else he could take care of. Things occasionally slip through the cracks in the customer service industry, but it is how management deals with it that really affirms whether the business is worth MY business. 4-Star rating for the wash, service, price, and the excellent communication from the owner. read more

For $18 the customer service is horrible and the car wAsh is inconsistent at best. The staff skips as much as they can and no one speaks English. No one is in charge and they don't care if you are satisfied. I have to always ask them to clean the back window and today, they skipped the inside of the front windshield. They also left soap all over my car. After seeing my review, the owner was concerned. He wanted to make it right. He offered me coupons for free top level washes. Horrendous. Broke the windshield wipers of TWO different cars I own. Should have learned my lesson the first time... NEVER GO HERE!

So I decided to give Gus Buckys another chance since Super Car Wash was closed on a sunny day. I arrive to a worker more interested in his cell phone than greeting me, a worker who says it's not his job to throw garbage out of the car and then a car wash with practically no equipment cleaning the car. All this for $20.22. I will continue to stay away after this visit. read more

I have been using here for a year. Maybe this is one of best place nearby and they are working hard with nice people and so popular you have to wait for more than 10-30 mins average. However I confess that the quality is not as good as what I expected. They left a lot of light scratches on climate control panel (LED). One time after car wash one of plastic trim on my door was popped out and broken. Also they left a lot of swirls on paint coating outside. I don't know how to remove them. After car wash, I have to wipe out the dashboard by myself because they left water mark and white dirt on them. If you do care, please don't do it on commercial car wash but do it yourself ! read more
