They fill the truck with lots of gappy air, unlike what recommended on the U-Haul box and on YouTube tutorial. I found a few items damaged after the move and asked for a couple hundreds dollars which is only 1/3 of what it would cost for me to repair. They had de 2k for labor fees , where I had to pack and bubble wrap all my kitchen stuff . This is by far the worst movers and will scam you and no one follows up . I had rather pay a full fledged service than getting involved with these people ever again. They keep sending me multiple bills and contracts and when I tried to look at old contracts they deleted those documents as well and access was denied , I should have known the sketch behavior. Also they didn't even move my couch and I only had 3 major furniture items to be moved . The driver , the coordinator and the sales are all basically irresponsible and made this one of the hardest move where I had to even cancel my travel plans And above all Justin told me delivery will be in 2-5 days and the person told me not for 14 days . The estimate was for two days: 4 hours of packing on one day, then 8 hours of moving and unpacking the next day. Day 1: Everything seemed OK but at the end of 4 hours they had clearly NOT finished packing. They had to leave out beds, but there was a TON of stuff that should have been packed that was not. I guess they left to avoid staying longer than they quoted. I assumed they would handle it with the extra time they had the next day. Day 2: They didn't bring any boxes or packing materials! They actually had to use our bedding to form crude knapsacks to gather up remaining stuff. I had to go pick up a new table in a ZipVan. And they failed to bring a big enough truck, so they had to load things into the ZipVan that *I* rented separately and I took a load too. And when we drove off, my old place was *not* empty. At my new place, they unloaded things mostly as expected, but we had things labeled "master" in the living room, and many boxes simply not in the room they were labeled for. After 8 hours, they left. They did not unpack anything, despite that being our agreement! So on to the aftermath... Day 3+ (me! not them!): We spent weeks unpacking. I had to come back to my old house and make multiple carloads of things left behind that they missed. Our full length mirror was broken irreparably (the wooden frame, not the mirror surface). It was leaned against a wall so the damage was not visible. Our couch has a huge rip in its bottom upholstery. Our living room chair has clearly had something sharp scraped across its seat. Our iPad is still missing.

We sat ALL DAY thinking we were robbed, because the 937$ deposit we gave was not showing up. They finally showed up (well, a third party company did with no identification or knowledge of who hired them) We were told by Eli Jones that our stuff would be put in a truck, shrink wrapped, and we would sign off on it. Then the furniture would not be moved off that location until it was delivered to our new home to help with minimal damage and moving. THIS explanation was the reason why we booked with this company. We were told by the 3rd party team moving our furniture that the items would later that night be moved into a warehouse. And then later loaded into a semi truck when the company had a full load to go across the country. The exact OPPOSITE of what we were told. The team was there for 4.5 hours loading our home well into the dark of the evening. Just awful. Fast forward, we were told by Mahyr (owner of company) on 8/12 that our items would be arriving in Boston between 8/21-8/23. Flights were booked. Then we were called by Hannah on 8/14 telling us that our stuff would be delivered 8/16. And if we're weren't there to receive it would he put in storage. Flights cancelled, and my husband drove to Boston on 8/16 On 8/16 we were told our stuff would be delivered 8/17 On 8/17 we were told the stuff would be delivered 8/18 at 8am. Nobody showed. Mahyr stopped answering any type of communication from us. Hannah responded around 12pm, saying the truck would be there at 4pm. The truck arrived to the house at 1030pm. They did not finish unloading until 1am!!! They took $200 off for "inconvenience" for the fact that No calls or emails are being answered from Eli, Mahyr, or Hannah. Finally, They wouldn't unload truck until bill was paid in full. Moving robbery this was. Go with ANYONE ELSE. Also filed a complaint with the BBB. They reached out to them 3x and the company didn't respond, this thus results in a closing of the case..

I am writing this to share my experience and warn future customers about how this company handles…read moredamages and accountability. I hired A Perfect Mover to handle my move into a brand-new home. Three days before the move, brand-new carpeting was installed. During the move, their team caused visible damage to multiple carpeted areas, which I brought to their attention immediately. The owner, Shane acknowledged it and asked me to send carpet cleaning information so they could cover the cost. I scheduled a professional carpet cleaner and informed Shawn when they arrived. Only at that point--two months after the move was completed and fully paid for $10,824 ... ( we are a family of 4 ) Shane suddenly claimed I had a "past due balance" for junk removal labor. This was never mentioned during or after the move, nor on any invoice. It appears to have been brought up only when it came time to pay for the damage they caused. This is especially odd because I had already settled my bill with them totaling $10,824 ...so wouldn't that extra charge be brought up at the time of processing payment.???? Yeah... you'd think so. Despite this surprise accusation, I still attempted to be reasonable and offered to pay the carpet cleaner upfront while allowing him to reimburse the remaining balance (even factoring in the amount he claimed I "owed," which I dispute). Instead of resolving the matter professionally, Shane became defensive, accused me of "threatening a bad review," minimized the damage to my brand-new carpet, and refused to take responsibility. He then said everything would now be pushed through a "claims process," effectively declining to resolve it directly. To be clear: * The job was paid in full the day of the move. * No past due charges were ever mentioned until reimbursement for damages was requested. * The carpets were new and undamaged, and no effort was made by the company to repair or mitigate. * My review is not a threat--it is a reflection of how this company treats customers after being paid. I support small businesses, but integrity matters. A company that damages a customer's home and then invents retroactive charges to avoid accountability is not acting in good faith.
