Booked this business to move our small family home (aprox 750sq ft) from Seattle to Boston. Pick up was scheduled for 8/7 @8am. Drivers did not show up until 430pm. With ZERO communication from anyone at 'moving services of snohomish' on why they were late and or if they were even coming. We sat ALL DAY thinking we were robbed, because the 937$ deposit we gave was not showing up. They finally showed up (well, a third party company did with no identification or knowledge of who hired them) We were told by Eli Jones that our stuff would be put in a truck, shrink wrapped, and we would sign off on it. Then the furniture would not be moved off that location until it was delivered to our new home to help with minimal damage and moving. THIS explanation was the reason why we booked with this company. We were told by the 3rd party team moving our furniture that the items would later that night be moved into a warehouse. And then later loaded into a semi truck when the company had a full load to go across the country. The exact OPPOSITE of what we were told. The team was there for 4.5 hours loading our home well into the dark of the evening. Just awful. Fast forward, we were told by Mahyr (owner of company) on 8/12 that our items would be arriving in Boston between 8/21-8/23. Flights were booked. Then we were called by Hannah on 8/14 telling us that our stuff would be delivered 8/16. And if we're weren't there to receive it would he put in storage. Flights cancelled, and my husband drove to Boston on 8/16 On 8/16 we were told our stuff would be delivered 8/17 On 8/17 we were told the stuff would be delivered 8/18 at 8am. Nobody showed. Mahyr stopped answering any type of communication from us. Hannah responded around 12pm, saying the truck would be there at 4pm. The truck arrived to the house at 1030pm. They did not finish unloading until 1am!!! They took $200 off for "inconvenience" for the fact that No calls or emails are being answered from Eli, Mahyr, or Hannah. Finally, They wouldn't unload truck until bill was paid in full. Moving robbery this was. Go with ANYONE ELSE. Also filed a complaint with the BBB. They reached out to them 3x and the company didn't respond, this thus results in a closing of the case.. read more

We thought it was a hopeless cause and were planning on selling it if it didn't fit. We were getting quoted outrageous prices and other companies stated their next opening wasn't until June. Egor messaged me within minutes of me reaching out to him, and offered to come out the next day! We hired this company to help disassemble furniture and move large items to new home. They scheduled us for Monday morning, 9:00 a.m. No show. Gave them some grace - rescheduled for Tuesday. No show. Owner Igor called and apologized profusely. More grace - rescheduled for Wednesday, when they were to be there between 9am-10am. A brief summary of the following review: RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDSTER COMPANY AS YOU CAN! If you are considering booking a move with this company, STOP IMMEDIATELY! I recently used this company for a move from Seattle, WA to Fairfax, VA, and they used every manipulative, coercive tactic in the book to extract extra money from me, many of these in violation of federal regulations for interstate moves. The only thing they didn't try is holding my stuff hostage, and, wow, what a low bar to clear. No matter how good their price seems, you will be paying far more than they quote. They didn't even finish the job by failing to reassemble my furniture and left me with over a dozen moving blankets I have no need for. The red flags didn't start showing up until they were executing the move, but then they were coming hard and fast. I have tried MULTIPLE times to contact them over the span of three months. Yet, I have not heard anything more than Eli saying he does not post-move complaints and to contact Mehyar, who did not get back to me. A list of what the company did not respond to: emailed disputes, a certified letter of the disputes, complaints filed with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and the Washington state attorney general. If you do decide to gamble and book with them, you had better have a lawyer on speed dial to sue when things go wrong; they won't speak with you after the move, if my experience is any indication. Their address is also just a PO box, which is extremely sketchy; who knows if this company actually has any physical location. The biggest source of frustration here is that they overcharged me by over $1,000 more than we had agreed to. They gave me a binding estimate, which, by federal regulation, they cannot charge more than. Nevertheless, on moving day, AFTER loading everything onto the truck, they said it would be more than $1,000 than we had agreed to, which violates federal regulations. I told them they were not allowed to do this, but the mover just shrugged and suggested that they could remove my items from the truck. I should have stood my ground and told them to kick rocks, but I let the stress of the situation get the better of me and paid. The binding estimate they gave me said they would accept a credit card payment. Yet, they told me on moving day that they would only accept Venmo, Zelle, cash, etc., and could not accept a credit card. Clearly, they are trying to avoid getting chargebacks because of shoddy service or breach of contract. On delivery, I was charged more than we had already agreed to in the bill of lading with no explanation. And, the movers left without reassembling my furniture. I informed their dispatch of this, and I was only told they were sorry and couldn't get them to come back. I asked for a partial refund of the amount I paid since they did not provide the full service I overpaid for, and they said they would look into it and never got back to me. You also run the risk of not being able to communicate with the moving team. While I am very hesitant to hold language skills against someone, I struggled to even tell them what needed to stay in my apartment in Seattle for me to take care of after they left. Multiple bright pink sticky notes saying "STAY" were not clear enough, apparently, and part of my internet equipment got loaded onto the truck while I wasn't looking, causing additional charges from my internet provider for not being able to return the equipment. The movers also generally had a bad attitude about the move, complaining about how much stuff there was and how far they had to park the truck away. They should not accept urban, full-service moves if they can't accept the logistics of doing that without griping, and I think it is entirely unprofessional to complain about whatever quantity of stuff they need to move. This should be part of the logistical planning of the company to figure out and deal with without complaint. A brief summary of federal regulations that were broken during this move: They were required to do a physical survey of my space and belongings before moving. They did not. They were required to prepare the bill of lading with me days before the move. They did not. They were required to give me a copy of the bill of lading. They did not. They were required to tell me how their arbitration process works. They did not. They were required to honor the binding estimate price. They did not. The only options I have left now are to leave reviews or sue, and who knows how much attorney fees would end up being. While federal regulation would require them to agree to arbitration if I ask for it, based on their history of not replying to me, I am not holding my breath. read more
