Rating: 5/5 Stars Gusto is a great find. I ordered the Hawaiian iced latte with oat milk and half pumps of syrup and it was delicious. My wife also really enjoyed her custom latte and a blueberry muffin. Everything we had was high quality and well made. The inside of the shop is very clean and well maintained. While it might not have as much eclectic character as some other local coffee shops the space is bright and inviting. The staff is friendly and very nice which makes for a great experience. We will certainly be stopping by again. read more

This has been saved on my list for a while now. Decided it was the end of my long week and I needed a treat. And a treat it was! Friendly service. Open/cozy dining with plenty of room. Quick service. Tried the Apple Pie Latte, which was superb. Smooth and creamy, without being overly sweet. Ordered a small breakfast burrito (larger size is also available) and after finishing it quickly, I wish I would've ordered the bigger one. My waist says otherwise, but it was hot, flavorful and perfectly balanced. Look forward to stopping in here again to try more of the menu. Well done, Gusto. read more

Tried Gusto this morning for the first time. Busy place! I love this area. I do yoga over here and they have some great little food and drink spots. The coffee shop was really open and bright. Lots of delicious pastries. I ordered a chai latte and my friend had a mocha. WiFi is great. I wish they have a few more nook like areas instead of so open, in case you would want to work from there, but overall lovely coffee shop. My latte was delicious! read more

I've come here a few times and the staff is always so friendly and helpful! Today I got a snickerdoodle iced latte with oatmilk. I've also got the pumpkin spice which they have year round!! There is a cute little area to sit inside and outside. Love that they have a little section with some handmade stuff by local artists. Gusto is the newest coffee shop around. The coffee selection is delicious, and the selections are made well. This shop has a great selection of gluten free breakfast snacks. The menu is impressive for a coffee shop as is the large amount of clean and peaceful space available for conversation and studying. Lots of sandwiches and plenty of GF and regular desserts including a selection of Christopher Elbow chocolates to purchase. I got a bullet proof coffee (w butter and MCT oil) which was delicious and creamy- like a less bitter black coffee. The barista Alexis was exceptionally personable and I appreciated her friendly demeanor without being over the top. Great experience here today. read more

I tried the pumpkin spice chai which was really good, but PLEASE do not order the bacon chive scone. genuinely the saddest pastry I've ever ate. Felt like I had been wandering the Sahara desert dehydrated and finally in the middle of the sand dunes, there it was, a fresh and yummy pastry sitting there just for me. To revitalize my soul. as I take a bite of the pastry, I realize it is made entirely out of sand. like a mirage of opportunity and also utter disappointment when you realize your eyes played tricks on you. such a dry pastry. i brought it to work and while trying to convince myself to finish this $8 scone, I offered a bite to my employee to ensure it wasn't just me choking on the desert. they tried it and as they took a bite, i see the saddest face I've ever seen someone take after eating a PASTRY, something that should be delicious and flavorful. matter of fact, while writing this review, i had my boss try it as well. i had never seen such a disgusted and disappointed face!!! he told me to take it back and say "no thank you." the craziest part is i tried it warmed up, and that didn't help it at all. then afterwards I tried it cooled off, and that didn't fix it either. this scone is unfixable. please stop selling horrible $8 scones to unsuspecting people. this was also my very first time in this coffee shop and now I don't want to come back. you're charging $8 for entry into the desert. unbelievable. the employees were working super hard though and were nice, but they did originally FORGET my scone to begin with. I waited 15 minutes for it and watched multiple customers after me be served their hot food. so I had to re-ask for it. maybe I shouldn't have. maybe then it would have saved me from this disappointment. you should rename this scone the Pharoh's Curse. read more

I've been meaning to try Gusto's for a couple months and finally got a chance to pop in today. This place is adorable. They had lots of decor up for the holidays which always makes it feel cozy and inviting. I usually just drink vanilla lattes but saw a review for their hazelnut frap and decided to give it a try. It is delicious! Insanely sweet which is to be expected with a frap. I was only able to finish half but it was so good and I loved that you could actually taste the espresso. My mom had an unsweetened iced latte and thought it was amazing as well. For food we got the croissant breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito and egg/cheese biscuit all were tasty. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of their menu. read more

I love supporting local businesses and so since there are 2 local coffee shops in this neighborhood I have to split my time evenly with each coffee shop. I like Gusto because of the amount of space they offer to their patrons. Usually when I come here on a Sunday morning there are kids and dogs but that doesn't bother me because there's plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing. I live in Tulsa and visit friends in Parkville, I've tried all of the coffee shops, and this is my favorite one. I also bought one of their cute coffee mugs. This is a daily trip when I'm in town. Gusto is not easily visible from the booming development now occurring at the I-435 and 45 Hwy intersection, but they may not need to be with the built-in customer base from the onslaught of trendy suburban (way above market rate) apartments growing up around the area. This is Gusto's second metro location after opening in Lee's Summit in 2011. With over a decade to polish their brand, the new location looks like a well oiled machine just two months after opening the doors. A full coffee menu with tons of featured drinks with flavorfully appealing mixtures - such as the Creme Brulee Latte that I had to jump start my afternoon. They are using beans from local roaster; Bulldog Brew. A wholesale roaster that uses proceeds to support local animal charities. Nice drink, nice cause. The menu is also complete with all the things that are now standard for modern day coffee houses - wraps, salads, soups, paninis, baked goods and sweets. Everything looked wonderful, but the display case of Christopher Elbow Chocolates caught my eye and wallet. The gentleman barista was very friendly and ready to talk coffee - a great sign. Nothing worse than a chainstore barista that tells you they don't drink coffee when asking about the product or industry. The interior was very warm and pleasant, but a bit over-polished for my personal taste. It's a bit of "Live, Laugh, Love" meets "The Power of Positive Christian Thinking" with a fake fireplace centerstage. In fact there seemed to be a bible study group meeting at a table near me. The type of place that you wouldn't be out of place meeting a date, having a work meeting or hanging out with grandma. The place seems to be a labor of love, with good product, good staff, and lots of effort with menu and environment. Five stars. read more
