Adam in the service department is AMAZING, honest, more than fair, doesn't take shortcuts, does great work and tells it like it is. The thing I really appreciated is he didn't bad mouth the other shop's work and lack thereof, he just explained how and why he would fix what was going on. In a short period of time he had everything safe and working as it should. . When we made the decision to go with a vintage travel trailer we sold the coach knowing that it was safe and in good working order. So now we're back for round two with a vintage travel trailer. I'm thrilled with the suggestions made and the work being done. I highly recommend R&L RV's.

We had an issue with a leak in the roof of our Super-C and brought into Bobby Combs because we have…read morepreviously done business with them. After the roof was gone over and any possible problem spots were addressed I came to pick up the RV. When I drove it out I discovered it was still leaking after a heavy rainstorm. I turned around and went back. They accepted it back into the shop with no problems. After a week or two I was called that the RV was ready. When I arrived they surmised the leak was caused by a bolt or rivet had backed out near the front of the awning allowing water in. After fixing the issue I brought it home and had no other issues throughout the winter. Until I can get my shop finished it unfortunately is outside in the weather. I'm confident they spotted the issue and fived it properly. After all of this said I wanted to address their entire staff that I dealt with. All of them were very professional and genuinely seems to care about the issue I was having. I could tell the manager and tech(s) were a bit frustrated at not locating the leak initially. It is a rare day anymore when you come across a business that has genuine empathy for a customer and does everything possible to fix the issue. I cannot express how much I appreciate this business and it's employees. I have numerous friends with RV's of various sorts and openly recommend these folks in Hayden should they run into issues. I rented an RV from Northwest Recreational on July 13th 2021. As it was very warm day, we used the…read moregenerator to operate the roof top air conditioning. The generator quit and would not restart 45 minutes into the trip. A call to the NW Recreational and Cruise America yielded no help unless we journeyed to a repair place the following day hours away from where we were located in the Idaho Panhandle. In addition, the unit was not clean, in extremely poor condition and maintenance. The toilet smelled horrible and was almost not useable. The lack of a generator prevented the remote camping we intended for our week of rental. While driving, the front end vibrated and the windshield wipers were worthless when we encountered rain. Further, the refrigerator froze everything and ruined some of our food. Northwest Recreational was not helpful with our problems whatsoever. They pointed the finger at Cruise America and Cruise America pointed the finger at Northwest Recreational. With no resolution on our issues from either party's part, we are left with disputing the rental charges thru our bankcard. On our day of returning the unit, we were charged two additional small amounts that Northwest Recreational had not clue what the charges were for and said they could not reverse the charges. Bizarre, yes. Northwest Recreational is extremely difficult to deal with. I would highly recommend not doing business with Northwest Recreational.

Part of the work they completed was to replace our backup camera and add side view cameras. They also replaced the roof and skylight, replaced the carpet with LPV, replaced the catalytic converter, fix one of the side compartments that had been damaged, fix the interior floor that had water damage, and more! Our refrigerator work fine however after 20+ years some of the door shelves had broken, bless them, they were able to find used parts to replace the ones broken. I can't say enough about how well the work was done. Their crew's pride in workmanship certainly shown through on this job. He lied to us and told us that nothing was wrong with our vehicle and that it had even been checked by their shop which it had not. Within the first week of owning our new used vehicle several things had broken which they claimed no knowledge of. After contacting them several times over a few week period they finally got back to us and agreed to fix only the cheapest of the many problems wrong with the vehicle.
