This is location has a classic boiler room sales experience - Beware! Make note of how you are treated, as soon as you walk in - it is a tale of what is to come. let me be clear, I deal with many dealerships, and have purchased many vehicles. With 30 years in manufacturing sales, I should not be surprised at the tricks, poor processes, and rudeness some dealers ( Camping World Liberty Lake) will still use. let me be specific - when I confirmed the scam pricing add - "let's go camping!" $3695 fee they wanted to tack on to their "sales price" was negotiable, for a unit advertised, their female sales manager actually told me sure, if i wanted the unit as is! unwashed, low gas, missing parts, low tire pressure, and she could not confirm the appliances worked. This was a NEW RV. DO NOT PAY IT - this is called PDI ( pre-delivery inspection, and is already built in to ANY vehicle you may purchase. I bought a "used" RV from Camping World with only 500 miles on it. I told the sales team I was moving from Alabama to Idaho with four animals and my sister--this was a major cross-country relocation, not a casual vacation. First night on the road: * Water heater didn't work (gas or electric). * Generator wouldn't start, so no A/C. * Broken cabinet glides. * Missing light lenses. * Several outlets completely dead. When I called Camping World, I got, "We'll look into it." That's it. No help, no urgency. Halfway across the country, I found out many of these issues weren't even covered under the warranty. Once I got to Idaho, I was told: * I'd need to drive across the state to fix the generator. * I'd have to go to a Chevrolet dealership to fix the outlets. Are you kidding me? If my car mechanic sent me to three different places to fix one vehicle, I'd never return. Same goes here. The sales process was smooth--of course it was. But the second you drive off the lot, you're on your own. Service is disorganized, slow, and downright unhelpful. I don't see how a business like this stays in business. I had an accident with our 5th wheel and have Geico as my insurance company. They recommended Camping world because they said they are partnered with them, and I would have preferential service there. So I called them up and they told me to get it up there as soon as I can. Upon getting there they looked it over and said it should be done in a month. Long story short it took them almost 5 months to get it fixed correctly, with us missing the whole summer of camping. Then after I got home and looked at the invoice, they double charged about $3500 worth of repairs. Stay away from this place!!! read more

I have been going to this location since I purchased my travel trailer in the Summer of 2021. Getting in for maintenance or getting a call back is consistently horrible. They are understaffed for sure but the worst part is no one knows what others are doing. I've left 3 messages the past 1.5 weeks to get in for service and have yet to receive a call back. Called around 11 again today, left a message again and at 1pm have yet to receive a call back. Called the front desk again and the person there had no idea I left a message, which is probably why no one calls back. Similar things have happened with service where no one person knows what is going on or what others have said or done, like paying invoices. Go elsewhere is you want to have any semblance of customer service or even responsiveness. They only get a 2 because the times I have spoken to service staff, they are very nice. Service is absolutely horrible. It took 2 and 1/2 months during the summer RV months to get 2 issues with our 5th wheel fixed. I cancelled my extended service agreement, and after 6 months, numerous calls, and 3 Finance Managers later. I still haven't received our refund. The GM, who I cancelled with in person, is still there, but I can't get a return phone call. He did leave me a voice mail once, and I've tried for a week to get back with him, to no avail. At this point, I believe my only option is to hire an Attorney to recover our refund. I believe it will cost this Dealership much more than my refund. Attorney's are expensive. read more

This review is only for the retail gear shop located in the main building. We have purchased a few items online with pickup scheduled at the store. In every instance the items were ready the same or next day. They have a decent selection of the things you would need for RV camping and pricing is good if you have a Good Sam membership. Friendly counter folks are hit and miss, with the lower end not being rude, just not overly friendly. Thankfully, most of the time they're good. We also wanted to dump our trailer out at the complementary customer dump station but it was about 6 deep of those waiting to dump. We ended up skipping as we didn't have time to wait that long. There is a small parking area in front of the building and RV parking in an adjacent lot. There are about 10-15 drive through spots as well for motor homes or trailer setups. read more

I brought out class-c in to have valve extensions put on the rear outside wheels. Two days later I noticed they looked low on air, and they were when I checked them; inflated them to proper pressure, a few days later the same. Gave the tires a full inspection looking for nails, screws, or other puncture types, nothing, so I scheduled an appointment to have the extensions checked for leaks. They had the RV two days and advised the extension were fine and I needed to go to a tire shop and have the tires checked for leaks. Off to a tire shop I went, no tire leaks but the found leaks in the extension. I had them remove the extension and that took care of the problem. Hmmmmm! read more

Sold us a brand new rig. During the paperwork we were told that we would be charged $2000 to have the 5th wheel made camp ready. We tried to deny this charge, but were told it was mandatory. We asked what the package entailed and we were told "camp ready" means when it leaves our lot it is completely camping ready. Should be able to go from Camping world to a campsite and have everything working perfectly. Unfortunately for us this is/was not the case. We picked up our new 5th wheel and took it home. We were staying at our families house for the summer for my work. As soon as we got the fifth wheel in place, we tried to use the batteries to put the jacks down, and they were not charged. We were told that brand new batteries were being put in the rig. After we got the batteries charged then the 5th wheel would not automatically level. This meant that the slides would not extend. We called Camping world with a plethora of complaints and were told to bring the rig back in. We explained that the #1 slide would not return to place and that the cord from the 5th wheel to the camper (they installed) was to short to keep the lights on the trailer functioning. Like the turn signals, brake lights and running lights. They returned with, if you won't bring it in we won't help you. Told us to call tech support. We spent about 2 hours with tech support and the problem seemed to be worked out.....until we tried to leave and couldn't get the slide to come in again. Tech support said switch the wires and that worked that time. We have been dealing with so many obstacles with this brand new 5th wheel, and Camping world (Liberty Lake) won't give us our $2000 dollar "CAMP READY" money back. We have owned the 5th wheel for about 4 months now and have only taken it on one disastrous camping trip. Nothing was camp ready. BUYER BEWARE. We were also told that there would be a 2 hour introduction on the rig, going over everything with you as a new owner. Camping World spent maybe 15 minutes going over basic things like, light switches, vacuum and designer lighting. All of which is extremely helpful. I would Not recommend Camping World (Liberty Lake) to my worst enemy. They snare you in, get you to sign their paperwork and then drop you like a hot potato. I spent $160000 and can't get help to go camping in my new rig. I would choose from the many other RV sales places in that area. Camping World is a rip off. read more

I've been using this store, Camping World in Liberty Lake, for the past 3 yrs. I recently went there on Nov. 8th, 2023, to have my travel trailer winterized. I ended up needing a drain plug that they said was leaking. With the winterization, a small plastic part and labor came to $470. I wasn't happy and know this is something I could've done myself. I've noticed labor and parts cost have gone up each year, while service and the quality of parts continue to decline! Don't be afraid to DIY. I'm canceling my membership with Camping World to save $$$$ read more

The topic of this review is the warranty and service department of Liberty Lake's Camping World Service department. My preface is the following, this is my opinion no one else's. If you don't want to read the whole review, I understand so hear are the cliff notes. "If you have a choice go any where else!" Total truth and transparency is a concept or belief that is not used by this service department. They carefully manipulate issues so either the customer, or the factory is to blame. An example, my fifth wheel was moved outside of the repair area. They never connected the 50 amp power, meanwhile the service tech left the lights on. This lack of detail totally drained the batteries. Instead of admitting the mistake they blamed the batteries for being defected. Solution, plug in to your truck and it will recharge. In regards to communication between service advisor and service tech and customer is almost non-existent. When it does occur the service advisor makes up stories. An example, there was a "98 % chance my RV would not be ready and I would need to get a hotel room". I was told by Jonathon my service. advisor.. Not only was the RV's service technician done, my RV was moved out of the service area before Jonathon left for the day. Did he attempt to reach me in order to stop me fro incurring the expense of a hotel? No! My personal opinion of Jonathon is that he has a very high opinion of himself. To me, while a nice guy totally average or less. Of two warranty items that were suppose to be completed, one was misdiagnosed and had to be re-photoed and sent to factory warranty for approval. This is the third set of photo's. I gave the correct diagnosis at point of sale. I was over-ruled by Erica who was service department manager and advisor Phil. This means that I will have to drive 3.5 hours each way for the third time. I have thoughts on why this occurs. However, they would be speculation. The other warranty item was simply not done. The service tech forgot to do it, even though the part had been ordered and was there. Finally, of my new issues.There were 5.issues none were completed. Two were not even addressed a defected hand rail and a replacement of the brake safety wire. Once these issue are completed, I will never step into ANY Camping World Service department again. If you have a choice, find another service center that does warranty work for your specific RV manufactor. read more

The place is a joke. Requested access to a unit I flew the family from SoCal to Spokane a few hours before the scheduled walkthrough at 4pm on a saturday. Got there at 1pm, and the unit was still in the garage. Walk through techs out right lied about what they knew was working when we couldn't test the generator for example. Told it would start but had less than an 1/8th of a tank of gas. Drove to the gas station after being in F&I for 3 hours, put 60 gallons in and it still didn't start. Had to fight to have them to pay for the carburetor replacement after driving the unit 1,300 miles home. So many things are wrong on the unit, and some of them I have a copy of work orders that they "fixed" and Riverside has to retouch. Beyond that, so many things didn't work after the first weekend trip that when we used the Good Sam Extended Warranty to have my local Camping Worly (ex Richardson's RV who's tech shop actually knows what they are doing), the warranty folks turned down everything stating there were so many things wrong, they must not have been working when I left and drove it home a few weeks earlier. In my final plea, I asked for the 350 pt inspection to document what was working when they took the unit in to help prove my case to the Good Sam Extended Warranty, that now I'm being told that corporate told them to not release anything to me (thanks anyhow Chris of Spokane, sorry your corporation is now hiding). So, now I have things they likely marked as working and are not and can likely never hand in after paying over $7K for coverage, what's the Extended Warranty worth, practically nothing. What a complete sham. The 1-800 "if you're not happy, I'm not happy" does absolutely nothing to assist. They make it feel like they are battling between all of the various affiliate that Marcus owns and is CEO of. Marcus, you're a gazillionaire, and I'm not. I do what I can to be a family guy and owning this unit was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. If you're actually anything like you acted on the TV show, you'd get the up the gumption to call me so I can walk you through the worst sales experience every. Just ask Kelsey from the 1-800 number to fill you in....oh wait, I was just told it got move to another case manager. Like I'll ever hear from them. If not, I tell you that I'm going to take this unit and park in front of your Riverside location offering to speak to anyone walking on to your sales lot. If it weren't for the hard-working folks at the Richardson's RV dealership you bought, I'd say 100% of your business is crap. read more

Terrible service and experience. I took my 2006 Fleetwood in for annual service with just a few misc issues. One of these issues, the water heater working on Electric but not LP was purported to be fixed when I picked it up nearly three weeks (yes three weeks for annual service) later. I discovered on our trip, that it was not. I took it back after our return and once again was told it was absolutely fixed and was tested several times. Silly me for trusting them. I tested just recently and once again, the same issue is occurring and the water heater is still not fixed. If you want to continue to bring your rig to a shop that will teach techs how to [not] fix things on your dime, go here. Otherwise, find somewhere that actually knows what they are doing. read more

Went in yesterday for a motorhome screen door part. Didnt see what I needed on floor so went up to ask the parts counter. One gentleman was on the phone and didnt acknowledge my presence. After a couple of minutes another gentlemen came behind the counter. He also didnt look my way or acknowledge me. Granted they may have been for the service side of the counter but a simple "someone will be right with you" would be nice. After several more minutes a female returned to the counter. I was given the impression I was just a bother. She sort of haphazardly motioned to the parts store and said " whatever we have would be down there." Please don't make the mistake of shopping at this location! Everything through the entire process of purchasing a new trailer was horrendous! We bought our brand new trailer Memorial Day weekend, through the whole process we were left in the dark and mocked and laughed at when asked questions (should've seen the red flags and left but we didn't) we made the purchase. We were then told we had to come back another day to pick it up, so we came back the following weekend. We finalized everything and they had the trailer hooked up to our truck when we did a last walk through. Upon our inspection we found significant damage to the door frame, it wouldn't shut properly. We also noticed the stairs had caused damage to the screen door and frame as well. These issues were not there when we looked at it and signed papers Memorial Day weekend. They tried to cover it up and say it wasn't a big deal and tried to make us take the trailer. We absolutely refused to take the trailer and they started a warranty claim. First of all why the hell should a warranty claim have to made on a brand new trailer in the first place! I could go on and on but we were never kept in the loop of the progress of the repairs and the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Everyone from the gen manger and the corp offices was just ridiculous. We didn't take possession of the trailer until more than a month after purchasing a brand new trailer. The gen manger Kevin offered us a couple free camping chairs for the inconvenience! Wow! Some chairs, after I spend way to much money on a broken new tailer, what a kind gesture. We had to cancel travel plans, miss work, and make many many calls to get this resolved. It qualified under the WA lemon law but since they were not willing to work with us on a solution it would've taken 4-6 months the attorney said, and we just didn't have time for that because we have already lost our in so much. Save your time and find a different Camping World or just stay away from them completely. I saw so many horrible reviews and still chose to go and now I really wish I didn't! Id give them negative stars if I could and I won't ever go back there for any devices. I will happily drive 100's of miles for assistance when I need another warranty issue fixed or anything else just so I don't ever have to go to this location again. read more

A friend bought Thor Freedom Elite... we could not figure out where water pump was.. they could not define location as none of them are placed the same but did give us a general idea to look. My friends husband passed away and their book gives no definitive information. We were able to locate at the home and could not get the pump to pump water. We drove it out to them this time and they remembered us but said they did not have 5-10 min to help.. would have to make an appointment . The last time they had it in, they kept it 4 months.. we drove over to RNR and within 15 minutes we were driving away, problem solved. we won't be back to camping world or buy another camper from them. So came to this store during COVID.... there was some kid at the front door very rudely telling a man to put a mask on..... the kid states he was the manager. The mask less man told him "I have a medical condition and I can't wear a mask"....kid replied "I don't care". I was watching this play out, but after seeing these 2 going back and forth, I could tell this kid was no manager. So the guy went to one of the offices and they pointed the mask less man to the person who was actually a manager and guess what.... the manager didn't even have a mask on.... actually most of the staff didn't expect at the front door. So this kid lied, was on some power trip and come to find out that their employees don't even wear masks when customers are around..... The real manager let this guy shopped anyway. Well that was drama that unfolded while I was looking to get some stuff before a trip Yellowstone. Prices are higher then what you can find these items online. I see no reason to come to this place. Their other negative Yelp reviews are warranted after seeing how they treat their customers. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the time & money and shop online. Went to Freedom RV right next door.... no issues, no mask nazi at the door, nobody telling you to wear a mask and all the employees were wearing masks.....go figure read more

I came in to the Liberty Lake store and was ready to talk business. Seemed like the sales manager preferred to be outside smoking. He did NOTHING to initiate a deal. Our financing was in place and he tried to convince us their financing was better. I'm a paramedic, I know numbers. This was an insult. It felt like a big screw was their motive. we finally decided on which fifth wheel we wanted. There were a few items needing fixing before we came back the next week to pick up. A week later we came for our walk through and pick up the camper and the guy assigned to us knew nothing about the product. None of the items requested to be fixed had been touched. The Water pump didn't work, they said it was fixed. We get it home and to our surprise, very little water pressure. NO attention to details. KNOW YOUR PRODUCT!!! Clean up the messes. don't brag about how good your people are when they are no where near good. VERY DISAPPOINTED. YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH TO BE PROUD OF. I was conned into the extended plans which are BS...I bought a campervan not a big RV that requires intensive maintenance. I should have purchased from Bretz RV...I paid close to 7500 more (plus deductibles) for a a warranty I argued about. I do my own maintenance and have never used an extended warranty for anything I have purchased new. Camping World scammed me....I've already made my own repairs on some of the deficiencies in construction, can I charge them for that? I'd say 7500 would do. read more

I took my camper in to have warranty work done. I dropped it off on march 19th. I still do not have my camper back. I called corporate and opened a case. Suddenly they decided to call me. I called forest river before i called corporate. Forest river told me they requested approval for the warranty work and it was approved the following day. However i was told that they had not ordered any parts from forest river. Suddenly after i call corporate, the next week i get a call saying that the parts are still on back order but they were trying to figure out when they were going to get the parts. In May of 2013 we bought a 2001 National RV, Tradewinds 7373. Last weekend going up Lookout pass it caught fire and burned to the ground. We had numerous problems with overheating since the year we bought it. It had numerous maintenance problems since our purchase, but I never expected that fiery ending to our adventures with it. Outfit was way oversold and I would never ever buy a used Coach from Camping World of Spokane. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. BTW, it took out our tow rig in the fire. Lost a 1934 Gibson tenor guitar, and a $5000 Trek Madone. Besides the near loss of life with the last experience, the experience with this Coach scared me the last 6 years. Seriously upset about this company! Firstly, we had the most amazing sales woman on the planet and she made me hopeful of working with this place... Sadly, we brought our trailer here for repairs after 3 months of owning it and learned that is NOT THE CASE. We dropped off our trailer for some work and were told it would take 24 hours. 24 hours later, nope. Not ready yet. Mind you, we have a renters picking it up the coming weekend... so they said 24 hours so that we could have it ready for them in time. 48 hours later we come in, supposedly the "ticket" for the trailer wasn't printed correctly so all of the service guys went home and didn't pull out our trailer for us. Like what? How is that when a thing? So guess what?! We had to push our renter out a day, messing up our income now, and then wait ANOTHER DAY to come get our trailer. We come and get it now 2 days LATE. Now, we have a LOSS OF MONEY. After our story one of the managers said they won't charge us the leftover amount due to our renters being messed up. NOW THEY ARE HARASSING US FOR THAT LEFTOVER AMOUNT. y'all are awful people. So fine, charge us the full amount even though you cost us personal money. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! Called ahead to see if they had what I needed since I need 10 of one particular item. Was told they were in stock and come on in. I drove 30 minutes and had to go out of state just to get there, went up to the counter and had to wait for two employees to finish their private conversation just to be acknowledged. When I asked about the item, I was told "what we have is, what's out there". I said what you have out. there is one item only and not the right size. I was told to go over to the parts counter where again I waited for two sales associates to finish their personal conversation, but neither gentleman ever acknowledged my existence and I ended up just walking out of the store. I will find somewhere other than camping world to get what I need for my RV from now on. I have no words for how ridiculous my experience just was. Stopped in on a Thursday morning at 8:40am. Went to the "service center" and asked to have a propane tank filled. I was told by one of the 4 people at the desk that they wouldn't be able to fill my propane tank until the retail department opened. Went to Camping World today with a list of items we needed to replace, all standard. Shelves were pretty empty, some remodeling going on it appeared. I sign says 'more products this way' pointing to the restroom area which then lead to the parking lot. Several employees sitting around eating popcorn in the sales area. 4 employees behind the counter in the retail area. Not one left their personal conversation to offer assistance. We could not find a water filter, breakaway cable, smoke detector, sewer hose, pressure reducer. We saw none of these things. We won't return to do business here. They are here for repairs and rv sales only. And we won't return here to buy a new rig either. read more

We have been trying to find out how the repair on our trailer is going. Reception keeps telling us someone will call us back. Nada. We finally spoke with someone the beginning of the week that said they can't get ahold of Good Sam (using our repair policy through Good Sam). We called Good Sam right then. Had no problem getting ahold of them. Started a claim, got the approval number, and a person that camping world can call directly. Good Sam never heard anything from camping world at all as of today. we are fed up with this Camping World location. We have used Camping World for years in Oregon and never had a problem. My hitch broke while on the road coming into Spokane. Came to Camping World in Spokane and they had three hitchs on had but would not sale me one as then they might not be about to sale a unit.
