Was able to get my gutters tied to the drain and connected all flowed out to the front. Also was able to get my driveway extended. I would not have been able to do anything remotely like this if I tried to do it myself. Thanks to James, Kaitlin, Wil, Brian and all the crew for a great job.

What went well?????!! EVERYTHING!!…read more I had been wanting to transform an area of my front yard by my front porch for over 20 years that was next to my long sidewalk. the area was filled with dirt, huge hedges, and a short row of smaller hedges and a few otter plants. As I got older, they were a PITA to maintain and THE WEEDS!!! They were a nightmare! So, I saw ads about this company and decided to get an estimate to turn this ugly, weed garden into my dream courtyard (hopefully). They made me a quick appointment that fit my schedule and sent out the coolest, most professional and accommodating, friendly guy, Jim. Jim spent time with us, showing us the product they use and beautiful catalogs on both the paver choices and the sitting wall styles. He listened to my idea of how I wanted the project to look and gave me the perfect courtyard plan that he knew would make me happy. I had already purchased a big arbor I wanted integrated into my courtyard's opening, and he assured me it would be accommodated. He was the best salesman I've ever had come to the house and he gave me a really great quote as well in the cost! The crew who came out met with me on the first day of the project (along with the Project Manager. Mr. Gomez (who is simply amazing!). And they went over what they were going to be doing that day and how long they predicted the project would take to complete. Well, they worked on our project for three days and worked very hard and did everything exactly the way I wanted it and actually installed the arbor to perfection!!! They cleaned up exceptionally well and were so amazing to work with, and I owe it all to them to make my dream come true!! I highly , highly recommend this stellar company to make YOUR yard aspirations and dreams come true!!! I can't say enough great things about these people and the work they do!!! Thank you!! I'm over the moon!

He made suggestions but also really listened and addressed any questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. Midway through the drainage system installation, he pointed out a place where I had some dry rot that should be repaired before they finished the work. Alex was flexible and waited to hear back from me that my repairs were done before coming back to complete his work. I'm so grateful for that, and also that we caught the issue before more damage had been done! The retaining wall and grading look great as do the rock work, drainage system and new concrete steps. All was completed in just 1-1/2 days, and for a very fair price. As an added bonus, the driveway and parking pad benefitted from extra gravel, including Alex and his team moving a heavy trailer to freshen up the area underneath with new stone. Everything looks amazing and we couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend Paradise View to anyone!

Eduardo and his team deserve 5 stars for hard work, the issue is the company. I felt so confident with Mario and his sell, though I wasn't quite ready as I wanted to compare, but it was rainy season, and it was a pressured sell to do it now or wait months out. He's really great at what he does... sell! He likes to repeat "You're gonna love it". Well, we DON'T!I was initially happy because after a muddy mess and dirty pup paws running in and out, it looked bright and pretty. I didn't initially see how un-level it was looking out from the house angled upwards wasn't noticeable. I had an issue with the corner sinking after raining the following days after install and questions about turf coming up after just a couple months, asked why they angled the lawn upwards to meet the fence without a gap and reached out to Vivian and Mario with zero answers. Water pools near the house when it rains because it's not level. I tried to follow up and again no response. I then was away for 5 months caring for my mother until her death 6 months ago, so I stopped pestering. I reached out again 4 months ago, was told to hold out til July by Chris and sent more photos at his request, multiple emails and phone calls to address concerns. He did say they wouldn't remedy anything without partial payment from me to fix. I still owe on the $17K I had to pay upfront so that's not happening! July came and went. It's now almost 1-1/2 years after reaching out after install and I'm STILL ignored. ZERO support. My issues were turned over to Chris, now to Billy who did send Eduardo out 3 weeks ago to check the sprinkler heads were capped off FINALLY. Billy also said he'd be in touch the next week again and come out himself to check things out.. as did Chris. NO word, NO visit. NOTHING. What was discussed with Mario prior to hiring: -It's a batting cage and want a flat level surface. Privets and trees left roots needing leveling and which created puddles in the middle of the yard where it was flatter. This was one of the two MAIN REASONS I was seeking to hire professionals do my lawn. I mentioned the back fence was incorrect and leveling the ground will likely leave a much bigger gap below, but will deal with that when I redo the back fence that was installed incorrectly, wrong fencing and has a huge arc from the chainlink behind and will be re-doing that entire fence line when I replace the whole perimeter of property. Second main reason: I want turf that can hold up to multiple dogs running around the batting cage and not make it look like a race track. It lasted 2 months and turf won't stand upright and looks like a race track, small tufts of turf continue to rip out daily and wonder if it will hold up before I ever finish payments. Lawn issues: -Water pools near sidewalk of house because of lawn angled towards house -Isn't flat so child kicking a ball has to chase it towards the house, same with Collie Dog ball that is light weight and just rolls downhill into the batting cage and can't play with the dogs -Temp fence can't be used near side fence because of severe angle of the ground the legs of the fence tip forward and cannot stake it into the ground with turf. -Lawn that smells terrible even with enzyme cleaners hot days are rancid -Grass won't stand up even with raking and brooms so now get to buy another big machine I don't have room to store to do the job. -Increased (More than Double!) water bill, from having to wash the lawn year round from pet urine and feces over watering 1x a week with real grass -Takes much more time to use rakes, brooms, leave blower and now and power broom Rethink if you often stake things into the ground too.. not suitable for croquet and other yard games. It's limited pretty much everything we used to do in the back yard due to the angle and fact you can't poke holes and takes much more work than mowing. We now spend more time in the front yard.
