No heat whatsoever from the sauces? It tasted more like creamy bbq sauce. Don't serve halal food for the sake of having variety on the menu. The texture of of the rice was a lil odd for me and it wasn't basmati rice. I'm giving it 3 stars cuz it really was just okay, if anything, I'm being a bit generous. I didn't feel like cooking lunch on a Friday but I could've easily made something tastier for less money.

While the food guy is nice, understanding, and quick, the guy working the front register spends 99.9999% of his time just watching the camera behind you, dreaming of outside, and is just barely cognizant of you passing him money. It's a bodega, so what they lack in ambiance, they more than make up in local entertainment. You're in Jamaica, New York, and you can people watch while you wait for your delicious food. Oh, and 2 chopped cheeses with fries and 2 drinks is less than $20. Overwhelmingly worth it.
