It was Easter brunch for us and we got here! It is a very cute place with very good service,our weiter was very pleasant, didn't get her name but she is Polish. Their menu is very big,so be ready,very good choices. Our selections were very good and their portions are big. We had a good time and we will return. Our family just had a 5 star breakfast here! I have to say, I was skeptical. The avocado toast my kids ordered was a little expensive. I wondered, how good could an avocado toast possibly be? It was phenomenal! The eggs had a touch of butter that gave the dish a luscious-ness. The avocado had a few aromatics included. And the bread looked thick but it was just the right crispy on the outside and soft and light on the inside. But the home fries. Oh, those home fries! I always prefer French fries over home fries, but not today. The French fries were also very good, but those home fries were crispy (no soggy here!) and the potato was perfectly cooked on the inside. When you bite into them you get the "snap" from the crispy outside and the soft potato-ness on the inside. So good! The service was also very good. They dressed up for Halloween which added to the whimsy of the pretty pink decor. All-in-all, yes it's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. If you want impeccable food, in a decent size portion, this is the place. We will be back (often). P.S. this place is fabulous. Even when they are extremely busy, which is practically all the time they are able to handle the large crowd. The sandwiches are amazing. My husband & I arrived after a redeye flight. We were hungry & exhausted. After sitting down, the server actually had the audacity to make us move to a smaller table to accommodate a party of 3. We had no choice but to politely agree but I was livid. It was rude. There was window seating with spots that would have fit those guests yet she thought it would be better for us to move. She then tried to say that we could move to a larger table once more room opened up, it was very uncomfortable. The food was ok. Coffee was ok. We spent $50-$60 with tip for 2 people. Had a late lunch here the other day with a friend. Was not looking for anything great just some kind of egg dish. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. First, the place is so cute. The one thing I would change, probably immediately is the banquette. It was so uncomfortable!!!! It's way to narrow and hard like a rock, it really does take away from the fabulous food. I had the egg white frittata ..... I made two changes, I had it with the whole egg and not just egg whites and it's usually accompanied by house salad whereas I had fries.... It really was great. My friend had the avocado toast with burrata.... She liked it but complained it was difficult to cut on a plastic plate. Our wait staff, Lori was great and extremely helpful with our ordering. Service was basically non existent. Just went for the first time, waited to be seated, no one addressed us, stood there for a few minutes before we took a seat. No one came over with water or to even ask about coffee. All the staff seamed preoccupied with touching the pastries. The vibe of the place was cute upon walking in, until I looked around and saw everyone at the tables looking aggravated. Table next to us, were 2 older who were waiting a long time to check out, went up to the counter to pay the bill, and then a staff member came over with the device for them to check themselves out, and left promptly. They couldn't figure it out, and we weren't even acknowledged. Left without trying. Such a shame. They need to up their service game, otherwise it's game over. read more

My friend and I went to Guzzo's for lunch today. A very cute place! We had a great lunch. I had the Haworth sandwich and my friend had the French toast with apples. Both were large portions so I took half mine home to my husband. We shared a pastry with our coffee for desert. They had delicious looking pastries, cookies and cakes. Trifecta - Great food, setting and service. Friends brought us to Guzzo's after having a great lunch there. Sandwiches are perfection and the bread is made fresh daily. Most of the sandwiches have an interesting twist. I had the Stallion which was perfection. The sandwiches are offered with a side of fresh-cut french fries or a really nice salad. Very cute shop with excellent food choices. I had the smoked salmon sandwich but switched it to a croissant, delicious. We really enjoyed this place for breakfast. We felt like we were on vacation in a small town eating here. The coffee was great, food was excellent, and the desserts were exceptional.
