Went into Footlocker twice today in this location. Employees are quick to say hi when you walk in and are even quicker to disappear. I spent 30 min in the store. trying on shoes from off the wall, holding shoes in my hand and trying to make eye contact with employees. Employees kept ducking behind clothes racks to stare at their phone or ducked into the house of hoops to hang out. Not a single employee asked if i needed help or had questions. But when a female in her twenties walked in without a bra, the same employees came out of nowhere, suddenly paying attention and asking her how they can help her find the perfect shoe. I'm not a difficult person. I was ready to drop over $160 on a pair of shoes, but clearly, there is a demographic that gets helped and others who are not worth their time. read more

Good selection of Adidas. Quiet evening at the store. I was the only customer. They're getting four stars rather than three because no one rushed me to offer assistance. It should be shoe store policy that the customer gets at least a couple of minutes to look around before getting bombarded by employees. This store succeeded. read more

Finally, bought a pair of shoes after 2 long years. Thanks to these amazing Kyrie 4s that I couldn't resist buying a pair. Also, I am a huge Boston Celtics fan so it worked out perfect. So I see these online and I immediately try ordering one online but to my disappointment the shipping takes at least 7 days from the time of the order. Hence I called couple of foot locker stores to see if they have it in-stores. After a couple of failed attempts I fount one last pair of size 12s at Columbia mall store. I called the store manager and requested him to see if he could hold the shoes for me and the manager was so kind enough to hold it for me. Within an hour I was at the store, manager greeted me well as he immediately recognized that I was the one who called him an hour earlier to hold Kyrie 4s. I tried them on and bought it immediately. Staff members are very polite and very welcoming. The store has a great variety of brands and lots of choices. I gave them one star less as they hardly have good sale when compared to other stores. I still prefer to shop here as the products are very authentic and in case you don't like it then return processing is pretty simple too. read more

Eh. I wasn't aware Foot Locker was such a ripoff. I paid $180 for a pair of basic sneakers. I thought this was ridiculous. Most of the staff were busy on their cell phones as well. I only came here as my nephew wanted new sneakers and this is the only place in the mall with a decent selection. read more

I usually don't give foot locker a bad rep since the experiences that I've had here are usually decent and people are willing to help. I give it a 1 star because of the employees that work here now. The new manager Charles (may or may not be there depending on when you read this review) is the rudest manager that I have ever come across. I tried exchanging a pair of shoes that I didn't have a receipt for and wanted to get another shoe at more expensive price and he denied the exchange. The employees there are not trained well and I have called corporate about this and nothing has been fixed which is expected from retail. If you want a better shopping experience go upstairs to champs sports. They treat their customers very well and have much better employees read more

This is honestly the only shop in the area that offers honest prices for good quality shoes. They also have amazing customer service. My husband and I really love this shop. I highly recommend guys to check it out. read more

We had a terrible experience with manager is this store location in Columba mall, his name is Marco and what's the saddest part about it is he was a trainee Manager. Very unprofessional, instead of calming the situation he caused the situation to be worst, caused a customer to be upset and disrespected. He stood up right on our face and raised his voice, he even threatened to call the police where we are the ones that is being aggravated. We just wanted to purchase Jordan 13, we wer very excited as we enter the store but everything was ruined by the person in charge of the said location.We are in the process of calling the responsible person to address the rudeness of the employees of this branch. read more

I have never had a great experience at this store! The music is way too loud and sometimes inappropriate for their younger guest. The sales people are on their phones and lack proper training. My absolute breaking point with this place was when I returned to use my $15 off (mind you I had recently dropped $300 at this place 2 weeks before) rewards points to buy some Nike socks and a shirt for my son. You would have thought that the cashier was solving some difficult Stephen Hawking algorithm to apply the discount to my purchase. So after being in line for longer than necessary (it should NOT take 10 minutes to buy 3 items), I was noticeably getting frustrated with the situation and the excuses the cashier was making. Oh ma'am I am doing my job (rather rudely)! After manually overriding each item in the transaction, which is rather dumb because the $15 discount should be deducted at the end of the sale. This Draconian method is prone to error and it's practice within your organization should be phased out. When all was done, he gave me a total, I paid and went on my way. After carefully reviewing the receipt, I noticed that he did not apply my full $15 credit. Now, I am fuming! I now have to walk back to the store to get this matter straight! Next cashier takes a look at the receipt reviews it and notices the mistake. Now, in order for them to apply the $10 credit, I need to exchange the shirt I just purchased and repurchase it again! WTF!! This was 30 minutes of my time that I will never earn back because of some foolishness. Hey corporate....with all the money you're making, why don't you hire an IT firm to assist you with posting Rewards credits via the customer's phone number versus on thermal receipt paper where the information fades away and cannot scan. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted. Someone had to tell the young girl working there to greet me, and when she did come over to greet it was pathetic, as if she really didn't want to help me, and waved me off. I immediately told her I needed assistance because I was there to purchase. The shoe that my son was looking for was not available so she did offer to order it. When ordering the shoe, I gave her my ID to take down my address, but she did not take the apartment #, so the shoes were not delivered to me. I called the customer service # to locate the shoes and he told me the wrong post office (because he didn't really check to see where the shoes were, he just tried to fin d the closest post office online, which is not my servicing post office). Once I finally received the shoes, the box was torn, tattered, and the shoes were dirty. The whole experience was awful. I've ordered shoes from other shoe stores before with great results. This is my first from footlocker... and it will be my last. This was a very disappointing experience. I am very surprised that the many levels of Foot Locker were lazy and unhelpful. Terrible customer service and extremely unprofessional. Do not spend your money at this location. I have an in-store pick-up order and I called to confirm that my order was ready for pick up. I already received an email saying that it was delivered 2 days ago. The girl who picked up the phone asked me what shoe I ordered, and didn't ask for my name or order number. She put me on hold for at least 5 minutes and said that my order wasn't there. I explained that according to the shipment tracking it should've been delivered by now. She transferred me to the manager who asked me for my name. And he kept pretending he couldn't hear me/understand. I knew he could hear me because he would only speak after I spoke. I told him to stop because I knew he could hear me. He response was, "oh I can hear you now but I couldn't before. Um yeah your order is here." The whole conversation was extremely immature and it didn't seem like he even checked to confirm. I will picking up my shoes tomorrow, but I will NEVER order from or do any type of transaction with this store. I have been in the actual store before myself just to browse and the employees were on their phones and gave me the wrong price for one of the shoes I asked about.
