Falafel Appetizer Plate
Anshita S.

Had their Falafel Appetizer Plate to go last week. It comes with a dip, salad and 6 pieces of falafel. It is not on their menu but you can order it for $14. The salad was meh but the pickled cabbage was delicious. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft from the inside. It can be a little dry to eat on its own, but we had it with the babaganush and it tasted great together. The star was the Babaganush - smoked eggplant with tahini, yogurt and garlic. The flavor, texture and smoky taste was perfect. Also tried Pistachio Baklava. It was way too sweet with for us with too much syrup, but the flavor was fantastic. It is pricey at $2.20 for 1 piece of baklava. I love their eggplant in tomato sauce and pair it with their freshly baked, you will be in heaven!! Now this one is more of a quick take out location, if you want to dine in, you can visit their Norwood location.

Very expensive for the quality and quantity. Food was mediocre as was portions but store is clean and service is friendly.

Very average food, slightly overpriced. The guts working behind the counter seemed pretty nice. One said he was from Istanbul turkey and another was from Azerbaijan. I ordered the lamb and it was pretty good. The tzatziki sauce was fresh and tasty. Not the best but not the worst.

Best rice pudding ever! Food here is wonderful. Nice service. Meat is delicious. Definitely recommend the gyro

We always order take out for this place especially for large parties at our house (6-14) people ! The food is always delicious and everyone is pleased. The family style dinner is a great option ( for 4 people ) or if we order individually! Highly recommend . I've been loyal to another Greek food place nearby for the last 20 years, but since we discovered Gyro and kebab house last year, I can't go back .

Over priced and not flavorful. I love Mediterranean food and frequent other similar restaurants with a much better experience.

I am so glad I randomly decided to try this restaurant! It is so good. I was looking for a new…read moreneighborhood spot after moving to the area last month, and it did not disappoint. This is the best Mediterranean I've had in Boston. The serving sizes were good for the price. The lamb kebabs were the bomb! The lamb was tender and juicy and nice size chunks of meat. The rice was also so good and moist. The falafels were fresh and I really enjoyed the grape leaves. The appetizers were all good portions for the price. This also might be the best hummus I've ever had. The owner was great and has been in business for a while so he knows what he's doing. I was glad to support a family restaurant and can't wait to go back. I highly recommend!!!

I've never dined in person, but I've had delivery from here before--lamb, baghali polo (herbed Lima…read morebean rice), kabob, eggplant, and tahdig (crispy rice). They look like they've changed their menu to be more Mediterranean focused, to cater to more communities. I'll say, among the Persian community in Boston, no one really talks about Stardust, which is strange because they're pretty legit. The quality, taste, and delivery timeliness were all top-notch. I'm thinking maybe their location isn't as accessible, but I'd definitely recommend them as a Persian food option for delivery or takeout. It seems to fly under the radar and it definitely deserves more attention!

After seeing this place on social, we were lucky to grab a reservation on a Tues night at 5:30. We…read moregot seated right at our reservation time. All street parking and we had to circle around to find a spot so plan ahead. We got a red wine and the flawless victory cocktail. I got to try a couple wines before committing to a glass. My partner loved his cocktail. Super well balanced and really unique combo of flavors. Both drinks paired well with all our food too. Zucchini pancakes (2/5) - the only miss. The pancakes were not crispy at all and ate very mushy. The carrot curry was delish but all the flavors together with the raita didn't really do it for me. White bean hummus (4/5) - amazing flavor and the little sesame ring it comes with was yummy. The texture of the hummus could have been smoother though. Sugar snaps (5/5) - perfect sweet and salty balance and really great texture from the quinoa. Good creaminess too. Octopus souvlaki (5/5) - well charred octopus and tender. The flavors were rich in flavor. Yellow split pea was a nice creamy base. Revani snack cake (5/5) - we almost didn't get dessert but glad we did! It a citrus pound cake with a pineapple glaze and a spiced macadamia crunchy topping. Served chilled. Very yummy and not too heavy. Overall very happy we tried this place. It's pricey for what you get but nice for a special occasion.

The menu changes often, which makes me wish I lived closer so I could visit regularly. We ordered quite a few dishes, and the portions were perfect for sharing. The fresh bread was an amazing start to the meal, and the sugar snap peas were a standout. Since the menu is always evolving, my recommendation is to ask your server what the chef is most excited about and order it. You really can't go wrong. This was a memorable dining experience, and I hope my next visit won't be too far away.
