I ordered a Hawaain Pizza for take out. It was my first time ordering. I went off the pictures on their web page. The pizza looked like a well done bar pizza with the crispy crust. The pizza didn't reflect the picture. It had crispy crust but it had salty deli ham that was not chopped fine. The mozzarella bland and heavy. No oregano or seasoning. The ham saltiness over powered the can pineapple and the dough not and sauce not very flavorful. Maybe they're better on pepperoni and cheese cuz how can you go wrong with that? Maybe better products. This is just one opinion but another person my differ don't take my word for it everyone has different taste buds. It's a distinct taste when fried mushrooms are frozen (like Sysco delivers) and deep fried. Would not order again. They were definitely well-done. The Hawaiian pizza has a charred flavor which would be OK, except the pizza was also not that good. When I walked in the fella working as chef/cashier was eating. This is a pizza place with a small seating area, they do a lot of takeout as many orders left while we visited the restaurant. The servers were nice and I liked the cheese bar pie. I devoured the pizza. My camera didn't do the pizza photo justice, but that deserves a bad review of the camera more than a failing of the pizza.I liked the caramelized cheese and crust edge. I am originally from the Jersey, NY metro area and have eaten and cooked pizza for most of my entire life, so far the pizza available in NJ and NYC smokes what is generally available in Massachusetts, but out of the pies I have tried in Massachusetts this is probably my favorite thus far. A good amount of flavorful tomato sauce, and generous cheese, right to the edge of the crust. (That's where many pizza places skimp, but not 57 Lincoln!) I usually get veggie pizza, and they're generous with the fresh mushrooms, pepper, and onions. Add to that a beautiful, clean space to sit and eat, and kind service when ordering and picking up. I got food delivered today from 57 Lincoln my first time trying to place I have to say I thought it was a good looking pizza when I open the box. It seems like it's between a bar pizza and a Greek style pizza made in a pan the crust could've been a little more cooked, but that wasn't my real issue. The pizza was really greasy. This casual pizza restaurant serves up a variety of traditional and specialty bar pizzas, salads, hot & cold subs, pasta entrees, fish & chips, appetizers, and cold drinks. It's an order at the counter place and there is table seating in the adjacent area with a flatscreen TV on the wall. I stopped by 57 Lincoln Kitchen for takeout recently. I ordered a 14" Veggie Pizza ($16) and Orrechiate Pasta ($14), which was ready in 15 minutes after ordering. The 14" Veggie pizza was loaded from center to edge with onions, green peppers, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, tomato sauce, and melted cheese on a soft thin crust. The Orrechiate Pasta had al dente cooked pasta, thin slices of sausage and rabe with garlic and olive oil. The baked braided garlic bread was buttery and toasted crisp. I managed to watch the Pats game in the dining room while enjoying my food from the pizza box and foil container with the pasta dinner, which I repacked much of it to go. Soft, seeded, not so chewy that you have to rip it from your teeth as you take a (big) bite. I could only eat half the Italian sub s as d a couple bites of the chicken parm. Boyfriend finished his and mine :). Would order both again but really want to try other items from the menu. He pizza/bar pies look and smell so good. I really must try soon. Wait time on food is minimal, yet always freshly cooked. Portions are more than enough. We always have a take out box for leftovers.
