Been on a Greek gyro kick this week. This was my 3rd place in a week. All I can say is wow and not in a good way. First and last time there. This was the worst and most expensive. Got handed a $5 looking gyro that cost $9! Very small gyro for the price!! Small pita, 2 onion ring slices, 2-3 tomatoes, a few shreds of lettuce and a bit of meat for $9?! And the sauce was a milky liquid and gross tasting. Worse gyro sauce I've had in life!! Can't believe anyone making it would think it was a good sauce. Baklava was awful too. Over the course of the last year, something has changed. The quality of the food appears to be on the decline. Got a couple of gyros and what they call a philly steak sandwich. Gyros were bland. The sauce has gotten to the point where it seems it is just thinned out sour cream. The philly steak shared nothing with an actual one, except the name. Swiss cheese, gyro meat, onions, and mushrooms on a bun. It was ok, but definitely not what was expected. Place was empty, and this was at 7pm on a Friday night. Every place near them was busy. Never again! The guy who made my sandwich had no gloves on or no mask. It was horribly unsanitary. The fries were old and half burnt, my philly cheesesteak had an odd, not good taste. Ordered a chicken philly and cheese fries, I specifically pointed to the one I wanted on the menu. When I received my food my philly was on pita bread and the cheese fries which I paid and extra $3 for the cheese had one small line of sauce on the fries. I went up to counter and asked for them to remake my food, they agreed to remake the hoagie on a hoagie bun but wanted to charge me extra for sauce. How ridiculous, I had already paid $15 for two items! They eventually agreed to add more sauce to fries. However, when I recieved my remade sub they put the mayo on top of toppings instead of on the bread, are you serious! To top it off the food was gross, needless to say I won't be back!!! read more

Interior and atmosphere has improved, very comfortable and inviting, clean. Food is still great, well seasoned and great portions. Staff friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that the kitchen staff is loud when they argue amongst themselves. I know they were arguing because they got my order wrong which they did make right immediately but I felt bad that they were yelling at each other. The question running through my head after eating here the other day was wondering why I willingly wasted my money eating here. I regret eating here and I won't come back again. My siblings suggested going to eat here since they ate here frequently with friends. I wanted to try this place since I haven't been to this franchise before for gyros. When we got here there were only 1-2 cars and the place inside was empty. We got 2 Wednesday specials (each was 2 gyros, 2 burgers and fries for $10 so $20 total). We waited a bit for our food and the whole encounter was uncomfortable, the people who took our order weren't smiling or wanting to interact with us the whole time like they didn't want us there. As a business how do you expect to make money if you're not willing to serve your customers, especially being the only ones in the store?? It didn't make sense to me.We took our food to go and ate at home. When we got home the french fries were limp and mushy, but understandable since we got the fries to go (however, I've gotten fries to go before and were still crispy by the time I get home). Then when I tried one of the burgers, the patty was very thin and it was mostly lettuce yet the burger was very greasy for me (barely a burger without the meat). The tzatziki sauce for the gyro didn't taste like what tzatziki sauce should taste like at all, very watery and bland like diluted cream. The only redeeming feature of this meal was the gyro. The meat in the gyro was good and the pita was soft but that wasn't enough to persuade me to eat there again. In general, this place was more of a quantity over quality place. If you wanted to come here to get a lot of food at a low price, you would probably like going here for the Wednesday deal. I had lunch at Famous Gyro George for a business meeting. The location came on recommendation from a client and my associate and I ended up having a great meal. I felt that the restaurant was clean inside. Since we were pressed for time, I hoped that the kitchen was working fast. It was very quick. The gyro meat is well seasoned. The eggs are cooked to perfection. The hash browns are crisp. My daughter loves their pancakes. You order the food and pay up front. They give you your cups and bring the food out when it is ready. We've never had a problem with their service. They keep my coffee cup full but DO NOT bother you every few minutes like most places. All I can say is this is pretty much an epic gyro joint. They are great for their Masterpiece which is the gyro all the way to Jojo's and chicken wings. If you happen to stop by for the breakfast be ready for a nice big breakfast with eggs Texas toast gyro meat sausage all for under $4. They have different specials every day and Tuesdays are the two for $6. They also have different days for the chicken wings and fries specials each day is different you'll have to stop in and check out the menu for the different specials. The gyro meat is very flavorful and tender as well it has not been on the spit for too long as you can tell it is not rubbery it almost melts in your mouth. Their sauce is also great probably one of the best I had from the gyro joints that I have eaten at. It is a small place that only has a few workers and they are very friendly they always come out to check on you if you are eating in the restaurant or if you're taking it to go they make sure that you have enough condiments and everything that you need. Nasty dirty people working there. The cook was doing something out in the diningroom touching everthing when I came in. He went right back to the kitchen and started preparing someone's food. He had to cough several time, but all he would do is turn his head and cough twards the grill and keep right on making Gyros. The dirty lady on the phone was touching money, credit cards, the cash register and everything else. Then she would go in the kitchen and uses all the utensils that the cook is useing.
