I ordered the Honey BBQ Pork Melt along with a Honey BBQ Spud. they forgot the sauce but that's nothing to complain about. I asked for some sauce, and they gave me more than I could use. My wife enjoyed a cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup along with a Spicy Southwest Chicken sandwich. As we head back to the area for appointments, McAlister's we will be visiting again! I have visited your restaurant many times and have always appreciated the fresh variety your menu offers. However, I wanted to share concerns regarding two recent visits. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, I attempted to order a baked potato and was informed that the restaurant was out of potatoes. This has happened on previous visits as well, and we chose not to stay because the item I specifically wanted was unavailable. Wanting to give the location another opportunity, we returned on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at approximately 5:30 pm. Several employees saw us waiting at the counter but did not acknowledge us. Once again, we decided to leave due to the lack of service. These two experiences-limited menu availability and poor customer service-have been very disappointing. Additionally, we have noticed that several seating sections are consistently closed which limits available options for dining. I generally do not write reviews; however, we truly enjoy the fresh selections your restaurant offers, and I am hopeful that sharing this feedback may help improve service and ensure proper inventory levels. I have never visited this place. So I didn't know what to expect. I was greeted with a smile and welcome. I ordered a McCalister wrap and side of potato salad. And I was very pleased at the taste I rcvd from both. The potato salad was actually amazing. The wrap needed more honey mustard sauce on it. But the wrap still tasted very good. We ordered to-go and the food was good and fresh. The prices are a bit high as the negative and I can see some of the sandwiches when made on small bread vs subs is too small for the price. We ordered subs and portion sizes are larger but so is the price. 12" Italian is $15.99 and some of the side options do have an up charge (vs. included) so beware. Great service, the cashier was very attentive to taking our order, payed attention to my food allergies and relayed the information to her fellow colleagues. We sat down placed the order number on our table and food was delivered to our table. The restaurant was full therefore food took a little longer, completely understandable. The broccoli and cheese soup was cool not warm to hot. My husband loved the Italian sandwich. The ham and cheese sandwich was good, the ciabatta bread so fresh. The restaurant was well kept. The atmosphere was family oriented and the music they played was modern and inclusive. The servers were all so kind, smiles and just wanting to make your time there pleasant. I have to say how I had been looking forward to McAlister's after my mom told me about them. I was finally able to get some and the food was really great. I had a choose two and chose to have a half a chicken club sandwich and half a veggie spud. Keep in mind if get the half of a spud is a pretty big serving size, I imagine the full one is even bigger. Positives: Employees are friendly, food is prepared well and taste great, dinning room is mostly clean. Windows only have a few promotional signs blocking views out. Negatives: food is over priced, portions are too small for the price, the app frequently shows outdated promotions, rewards, and deals... even after closing, reopening and signing back in again. Customer service was not satisfactory, I was trying to decide between two soups while ordering and asked if I could try a sample so I could make my decision and she responded "we don't do that here." Other places like Zoup allow you to do that. So I picked the potato soup and sandwich. The soup was terrible and lacking in flavor. The sandwich was just as unimpressive, regular store bought thin bread with a few slices of meat! I can make a better sandwich at home!! My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight and we were very disappointed with both of our meal's. I had a Grilled Chicken salad and the lettuce was not the freshest. I left a portion of the brown wilted lettuce for the staff to look at. My wife had a Choose Two and was also very disappointed with her 4 Cheese Melt portion size. But I come to learn there is a big difference between a sub shop and a deli. The sandwich selection is similar to most places but the quality of meat seems to be above that normal. I ordered the horseradish, beef and cheddar with Ms. Vicki's BBQ chips and a sweet tea to wash it down. The other order was a choose two selection of pecan berry salad and chicken salad. The selections were excellent the mixture of meats, sauces, vegetables, and fruit blended well. I am definitely going back the portions were huge to the point that you could share a meal. You normally walk in to a place and every one yells hello when the door opens or the bell goes off. Here it is the same but the smiles are warm and genuine.
