This place was super popular and busy when we went. They have a decent sized menu, I ordered a standard beef/lamb gyro and baklava. Customer service was great, the man at the cashier was very cheery and friendly with everyone in line. Once we ordered and got our number we scrambled to claim a table. The wait time wasn't long. My friends got a Greek fries, falafel, and gyro plate to share. All the food was exceptionally delicious and as expected. The falafel was a nice surprise since it wasn't dry and had a great dipping sauce. I would only advise against the baklava because I wish it had more nuts, it tasted more like honey and dough. Otherwise solid spot and will come back soon!!

I always get this at the Fremont sunday market. One of the best gyros I've had. Really love the soft pita bread and the fries are incredible. I just wish the portions were a little bigger. I usually get the chicken solvaki gyro the chicken is super well cooked. Very quick service bc it's coming out of a food truck for me. Highly recommend.

Haven't tried a gyro in many years decided to try again. I will say the meal came out super fast. The bathroom has a bidet, which is the first time I've ever seen that in a restaurant. I ordered the lamb and beef shwarma plate, it was alright, but the price was too high imo. I should have just got a wrap. They had a busy stream of pickup orders the whole time I was there. This kind of food just isn't my thing, I guess.

Greek fries: look at all that sauce and feta cheese! SO good!

Just got the Greek fries and they are AMAZING! Tons of sauce and feta cheese yet still super crispy. Not sure how they do it, but I was blown away. Staff there is always very friendly and generous as well. Their super veggie sandwich is incredible as well. Perfect for a vegetarian who doesn't want to feel deprived. A+++

Wow the food at this place blew me away! I've been meaning to check this place out and after an appointment in West Seattle, I stopped by to order takeout. I ordered the gyro plate and the greek fries. They had a tv playing a world cup game so that helped pass the time pretty quickly - maybe just under a ten minute wait. The guys working behind the counter were very kind! Excellent customer service. The food was incredible. The smell on the drive home was irresistible. The flavors are amazing. And the food is very garlicky which I love. The Greek fries which are covered in spices and feta and white sauce was delicious. And the fries were cooked perfect. Like a nice crunch and crisp on the outside, but fluffy inside. I loved these fries. The gyro on the gyro plate was soooo good. Tender pieces of yummy meat. The rice underneath was good and with the white sauce, every spoonful I ate was so good. The plate also came with this cucumber and tomato salad which was refreshing. And there was also a piece of pita bread and a dip (wasn't hummus but maybe a white colored dip (maybe tzatziki??). It was so much food! The plate and the fries is like two or three meals worth or definitely good for sharing. They share a small parking lot with the Starbucks and they take credit card. Enjoy!

The service was very fast! They even accommodated me to do half chicken gyro and have regular gyro meat. I was not sure if it was chicken gyro or chicken shawarma meat that they gave. Overall it was tasty.

A great middle eastern fast food spot. Close to Alki beach, with parking, great flavors, portions, prices, and staff personalties- what more could you ask for! Highly recommend trying their greek fries- it's topped with delicious garlic sauce and feta!

4.5 Stars. MSFT provided free lunch and Gyro Heroes stepped up and hit a home run! Wow, the pork belly itself is sooooo good. They are cube chunk, good size of meat with the perfect amount of fat juciness. I found myself with each bite trying to slow down cuz I didn't want it to end! Had this place bookmarked for the longest time, but was always not in the neighborhood. Now I know they are worthy of making that special trip for. Bonus was the the gal and guy in the truck were super friendly and smiley. Loved it!!!

Great food. But when asked about the 3% service charge, they had no clue. No signage posted anywhere

Wow this is without a doubt my favorite Mediterranean spot in Seattle and possibly that I've ever had! The portion is huge, the ingredients are fresh, everything was deliciously balanced, and it came out beautiful! Can't forget the employees are incredibly nice and the food came out so quickly. This place is popular for a reason, you have to come by and give them a try! I got the Gyro Plate and it was plenty of food for two meals for me and reheated well too. I absolutely love this place and will be back so soon!!

Since Kokora's on California Avenue, closed, WS has been lacking quality Mediterranean food. Happy to see Gyro Heros's open on Admiral Way and they have made a great effort and have potential to improve. The food was well prepared and men working for friendly. Will take another run at in once they have been open for a bit longer. read more

The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly! Thank you for several great experiences and meals. I also accidentally underpaid for something due to my misunderstanding. I offered to pay but they were cool and were very kind about it. They have got almost everything right. I have very high standards for food and these guys are more 4.5 than a 4. Their fries, pita bread, sauce, salad, all taste good, especially their basmati rice, one of the best flavored rice I have had. They could bring more gyro and shawarma flavor to their meat, especially chicken since that's what I tried. This is the only think stopping them from getting a complete 5 read more

Finally tried this new restaurant to the neighborhood for my very first time today. It was definitely busy. My order was taken quickly but took quite a while for the food to be ready. WEST SEATTLE HAS A GYRO PLACE NOW. I drive by this place nearly every day and always look to see if they were open yet and they fiiiinally are. Christos on Alki is good but it's a bit pricey and a sit down restaurant. Heroes is quick and cheapish and so so so good. The traditional gyro isn't super lamby which I like and all the toppings are fresh and tasty. The greek fries are incredible. So stoked this place is not only open now but delicious too. read more

The food here tastes fresh, clean, and tasty. I appreciated that their food wasn't too salty. Everything I tried here tastes pretty good. They could use some improvements in interior though. The food is high quality but the interior looks a bit run down which may give some people who judge a book by it's cover the wrong idea. read more

Sent the husband here to pick up lunch as we're on a low carb diet and too hungry to make something, and figured they might make a decent salad. We got the chicken shawarma and lamb shawarma salads, respectively, and they weren't just decent, they were delicious! Really fresh and full of flavor - you can tell they use good quality ingredients. Meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. Garlic sauce was amazing and plentiful. We will be back for more! read more

This place is only OK. No idea why it has such good reviews. Gyro is ok. The fries they use are not fresh. They are frozen. Any place that doesn't make fresh fries doesn't deserve a 5 star rating. I am pretty sure they don't use authentic feta either. read more

I visited this newish Greek fast food restaurant in high hopes. For me the, the standard is the gyro. Just the memory of seeing the rotating vertical roasting spit and the resulting charred tufts of meat as they are sliced off with a long knife right into a waiting warm pita... oh my! To my lament, this is not the case at Gyro Heroes, where the meat was pre-sliced and limply stewing in a warming tray. That dripping fat, charred fresh cut from the rotisserie quality was missing. I hope in the future, when I visit, they will be cutting from the rotisserie and that they provide some of the condiments common at gyro shops. The chicken greek salad we tried was unremarkable. read more

I'm so excited this place is finally open! My husband and I ordered gyros with a side of sweet potato fries. It was a lot of food - delicious food! It was fresh with good flavor. Oh YUM! The food is fresh and delicious and the staff very friendly and efficient. So far, we've had both chicken and the meat gyro plates and the greek salad. My brother and I came here today and were very impressed with the food. Awesome gyro, wonderful Greek fries (which a lot of places don't have), and the hummus was very good. Do yourself a favor and go here; come hungry and order anything off the menu and chow down. Wonderful food and the two gentlemen working were extremely kind. Between the portion sizes, quality, and overall value, it just didn't live up to the price.

We originally went because we had seen good reviews for Almanqal Mediterranean Grill. When we got there, the server mentioned it's basically the same place but with a different menu, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food took quite a while to come out and when it finally arrived, it wasn't even hot. The bread honestly tasted like something bought from a grocery store. The rice was very bland, and although the salad was actually really good, the chicken was extremely dry, chewy, and lacked flavor. The presentation looked nice, but the taste just didn't match. The portions were also quite small, and the prices felt very high for what you get. The service was just okay overall. Maybe they are still new and working things out, but for the price and portion size it just didn't feel worth it. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and money considering the quality and quantity of the food.

I love this place, I've never been in person, but we go there all the time. The Greek fries are to die for, I'm obsessed with them! My husband always gets the shawarma and I always get the gyro. I will say, they have the option to add extra meat on the app, which is great, but they don't have an option to note which dish you want extra meat for. For some reason they always assume we want extra meat on the shawarma instead of asking, but we want it on the gyro. That's the only reason I took off one star, if they didn't do this one annoying thing they would be 5/5 from me. read more

I've been waiting for Gyro Heroes to open for months now and I'm so happy they have finally opened! When I walked in for the first time, I was greeted with smiles from the staff and I noticed right away how clean and organized the restaurant was. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and Greek Fries, and it's was amazing. The food tasted so fresh, tasty, and original, which was a big change from the usual bland tasting gyro places we have here in Seattle. Absolutely love Gyro Heroes in West Seattle! This place has become one of our go-to lunch spots--and for good reason. The portions are huge (you definitely won't leave hungry), the prices are super reasonable, and the service is always quick and friendly.
